Go here with extreme caution, we had 2 consecutive repairs and both had a negative impact on us (the client/customer). First, Rubio was selected by our insurance to fix a small dent/scratch on back left which turned into a repair cost of 5X of original quote and a spike in our insurance (not to mention it took 7-8 weeks!). While that was wrapping up, we had our second vehicle in for repairs to be covered under warranty and after 3-4 weeks of lies and being without the vehicle again, we lost our chance at getting the repairs. Travis had told us repeatedly (verbal, text & email) that he had submitted 3 claims for repairs. He never did, these were all lies! Turns out he did nothing. The overall communication and lack of execution was very poor! We were extremely disappointed and do not recommend Rubio/Travis to any of our friends and family in the area. read more

If you are considering purchasing a vehicle from Rob and his team, please read this review prior to doing so. I have had the unfortunate experience of purchasing a vehicle from Rob and his team at Rubio Premier Motors. I purchased a Mercedes E500 from them which Doug and Rob described as in great condition without any problems. Beyond that, the provided a certification on the bill of sale that the vehicle was "is in condition and repair to render under normal use, satisfactory and adequate service upon the public highway at the time of delivery. Rob and his team also claim to be specialized in repairs of Mercedes." The vehicle showed up with: - active fuel leak - damaged catalytic converter - broken front struts - valve cover leak - damaged rear brake rotors - 12 year old tires - fraying drive belt and aging tensioner - cracked front CV boots on both sides At the time the vehicle was sold to me, it was mechanically totaled. I've had 4 different shops perform diagnosis including a Mercedes Benz dealership and two independent Mercedes shops as I've had to sort out the mess that Rob and his team dumped on myself and my family. Again, Rob claims that his shop is specialized in repairs of Mercedes and is "Trusted and respected within our community for our knowledge and integrity. Our philosophy is to care about you, your family and the cars you drive." There are a lot of better ways to make money than to fraudulently scam customers with totaled cars, but Rob and his team have decided that's the way to run their operation. I recommend avoiding them at all costs. If this review is up, there will be an active used lemon law claim and lawsuit against them to cover the repairs. read more

Rubio is a total ripofff! Steer clear! He will get your car in, then hold you hostage by saying parts are delayed. He builds the repair into a big deal then massively overcharges for the job. I really regret ever taking my car there. NEVER AGAIN! read more

I am a Westhampton resident and have had terrific experiences with servicing several of our cars. That includes a late model Range Rover as well as a 1990 Land Rover Defender. Not easy cars to work on, mind you. On one recent occasion, when my 1990 Defender's battery died, they quickly came, put the car on a flatbed, and even drove me home. Personalized service, prices are entirely market. I have never once felt they have tried to upcharge or even upsell me. An underrated neighborhood gem. Thank you for your excellent work! I highly recommend staying away from this shop. They price gouged me for double on all parts and gave me back a broken car with no clue what was wrong with it after having it for almost a week. Their mechanic managed to put the wrong spark plugs in my car and charged me $19 for $10 spark plugs. Save yourself the headache and money and take your car elsewhere. read more

If I could give this place a worse rating, I would. This place is extremely overpriced and will add unnecessary things to your bill. They WILL take your money. I have had multiple people I know go here and get one price, and go back to pay it and it's 10x than what was originally told to them. I am a young college student and I was smart enough to know that I got scammed. They do not call or communicate with you about an update or your car repairs. I brought my car in for an evaluation for the car insurance, no work done on the car, so they charge $300, a bit much for doing nothing, and driving the car home in the exact same condition i brought it in as. Then i made the mistake of leaving my wedding ring in the center console, and it was not there when i got the car back. Called and spoke to Eric, and asked about my ring, and was told, oh it must still be there just keep looking in your things. Yea. Right. I had some warranty work done on my truck there. I get a phone call from jeff stating there are 2 more issues he found and are not covered by the warranty. Im told its $1100 to get it fixed. Ok, so 5 weeks later when my truck is finally ready they want over $2000. Never got one phone call explaining any extra parts or anything. I look at the bill and i was charged for 2 parts that i had just installed about 3 weeks before i took it to rpm. I get home and notice glass bits on the floor in the rear seat area, I can only assume they broke the window and trumped up the bill to cover the costs. My truck did run good but i will not be going back. I dont know if its just Jeff that is shady or the dealership. read more

They are so helpful and honest here and really know what they're doing. They took the air pressure in my tires, filled them, took off the dashboard notice and didn't even charge me. Awesome shoutout to RPM! This busy single mom got in the car for work, and my car didn't start. My neighbor told me to call Rubio Premier Motors as he has been going there for years. They got to my home in East Quogue within 25 minutes, towed my car, dropped me at work and fixed my car while I was at work. They even dropped back off my car at my workplace before I got off for the day. The car was my father's and I would have been really sad to see it go, so thank you RPM for fixing it while working in my schedule. read more

HORRIBLE. This place is where you take your car, truck or whatever, if you want them to professionally scam you. These guys obviously can fix cars. But they also fix prices. Lie about when they will start or finish. Then they can quotes, and estimates. and think 600/hr (mind you they are not surgeons or lawyers, but guys turning wrenches) and they will do all they can to extort you into paying unrealistic and horrible prices. Not to mention they are just plain, rude, and mean if you don't fall for their scams. Our family lost our only running car, cuz a last minute pay us 1k extra on top of the quote we actually gave you for 1 more hour in labor. It was a gas tank repair and they tried to charge me over 1500 in labor to do a 3 hr tops job. and wanted me to pay over time because they waited 4 days to even take a look at my car. I'm 42 yrs old, and hands down, I have never seen such a shady, crooked, extorting garage of any sorts. I do not recommend anyone that doesnt hope to be a victim this garage. They are the worst when it comes to pricing, customers service, and ethics in my opinion. read more
