Even though I went with the base options, they still handled the job thoroughly. Everything looks great. They are also fantastic at handling questions that might come up after. If a small issue is noticed that might need to be looked at, they are responsive and will follow up with you. I see one or two reviews mentioning service time. During certain times of the year, home improvement companies have to schedule way out. Whether it's roofs or windows or whatever. Parts have to be ordered, jobs are dependent on the weather.. ignore those. These guys are professional and first class.

The installation did happen a few weeks later than we originally thought it would, but that was likely due to a miscommunication, and does not change our opinion that Tommy D's is first rate. Chris and Bill arrived this morning, on time, in the snow and did a fantastic job installing six new high efficiency windows on our front porch. Watching these guys work, you can see that they are knowledgeable and care about the workmanship that they put into the job. The final result is beautiful. They also took the time to show us how to use the hinges on the windows so that you can clean the outside of the window from inside the house. Terrific work, friendly and skilled workmen, a beautiful high efficiency product. AND a local company. Very happy we chose Tommy D's.

They give you a contract that says what they don't do, which becomes a plumber responsibility, but the plumber needs to do more than what the contract states, so it becomes a larger expense. They did the job rushed in 25 minutes, when I was told by the company that it would take about 2 hours. They left the sink lose, took the clamps or threw them away, and the countertops were sitting about a quarter to a half an inch lower than the previous countertops, which made it look ugly, certainly an incomplete job. Management told me that they could have done the measurements incorrectly and then someone else negated this and did not asume responsibility. They took off $200 off the bill, but I had to pay almost $500 for a professional to fix it. Unsat!

I initially thought the quote was a bit high, but when I took the time to price out the materials to do it myself, I realized that it was quite reasonable, especially when you factor in the time and labor involved. I'm very happy with the results, especially the large walk-in in the master. The young man who measured, wrote the estimate, answered my questions, and performed the install (I wish I could remember his name) was very prompt and professional. He had diagrammed layouts for each space (the master closet is huge and had two built in dressers and multiple shelving units, as well as tall and short rods and a two big shoe racks), and I received the diagrams in 24 hrs. He was also very patient as I delayed a decision until I could research materials and costs. I believe he is the owner. I'm glad I went with Closets, Too. The closets and pantry are beautiful. I highly recommend.

Overall, an excellent experience!…read more Before purchasing our bed, I telephoned Bedder Way with questions, and the customer service was great. My call was answered promptly, the person I spoke with was knowledgeable, patient, and cheerful. There was a delay in the bed's arrival, which left us scrambling a bit because we had broken down and gotten rid of our old bed in anticipation of a timely delivery (no room to get the new one in without the old one out). That said, the delivery folks kept us informed about the progress of our delivery. On the day the bed did arrive, the driver was very kind and careful with the handling and placement of the very large (!) box outside because it was too big to deal with inside our tiny home. It was a challenge opening the box and unpacking the bed parts, which was a decidedly Good Thing. All of the pieces were expertly and very solidly packed using wood and solid/strong styrofoam(?) pieces to prevent any scarring or scratching of any of the components. The directions for putting the bed together and installing it were very detailed and useful -- and my oh my, it is so comfortable - much more so than our former bed even though we used our existing mattress. We sleep on it every night, often closing it during the day to give us more room, plus it keeps the bed nice. I am small and 70 yo and can easily handle taking the bed up and down. There are two slight challenges: one is remembering that the legs at the foot of the bed stick out a bit when the bed is open, so it can be tough on your shins if you aren't mindful; the other is changing the bed -- it's a bit difficult (but, of course, doable) to get the fitted sheet on at the top of the mattress because the enclosure does not leave a lot of room to maneuver; and, caution is needed when one lifts the bottom of the mattress to put on the sheets and tuck in the bedding because the bed frame pops up in an effort to close because there is no weight on it at the moment. The only disappointment was the lights, which are add-on purchases, and not built into the bed itself. The "neck" on one of them isn't sufficiently stiff to hold the lamp in position. That said, it was not enough of an issue to bother Bedder Way about it, and we are managing. :-) [Bedder Way saw our review and sent a new lamp!! Another feather in their cap!] All in all, the Bedder Way Murphy bed was the perfect choice for a senior couple who radically downsized and moved into a tiny 1930 build duplex to be near family and within walking distance to all the necessary amenities (stores, medical offices, public transportation, etc.). We are now considering a Bedder Way side cabinet when we are able to manage it. :-)
