I usually just like to go in, do my thing, and get out. There are strong bonds formed here strengthened with every class we suffer through. Everyone has different goals and reasons for being there but we all support each others journey. Very much an "each one teach one" vibe. - also the Jocko supplements are actually really good. I hope to see more of that. The only thing I wish they had was a regular clock in the weight room and cross-fit room. I leave my watch at home when at the gym and I feel like I have to look at my phone every 5 min not wanting to miss class. Update: coming up in 2 years training with this gym. Even with a fire that took it down and a second location opened up within just a few months the management is still quite professional and the coaches are awesome. Looking forward to the old building opening back up.

You really get a great workout in within 30 minutes AND a trainer is included. The number one reason why I came back was for Lewis and Ally. They are the new owners and have made such a positive impact on this place. I first met them when they were just trainers at 9Round and even asked when they were going to open their own place. Several months later they announced they were taking over as the new owners. I ended up leaving before they switched to being owners and they always reached out to welcome me back. I finally came back and I'm so so happy I did. They really make this place feel like you're a part of a family. I know kickboxing can seem intimidating but you can come in with zero experience or even if you feel like you're not in the best shape and workouts can be accommodated to whatever level you're at. I'm a pretty shy person but everyone (trainers and members) are so nice and welcoming. Speaking of the trainers- every single one of them are great and knowledgeable. I highly recommend stopping by for a free workout- you never know you might love it. I always recommend this place to family and friends.

The coaches are AMAZING and being a local mom and business owner, I love that almost every class I go to I know someone. I think the best thing I can say is that the coaches keep you accountable. My dad has been sick so I go through times where I'm a little low and Coach Mike is always sending me texts asking how I'm doing and to try and come in twice this week. Most gyms just want your money and if you don't come in they don't care. Xplicit wants to see you there and if they don't they reach out to see what's up. Makes me feel like I'm not just a member number, but an important member that is cared about. 10/10 recommendation. Also Coach Tasha has put together so many fun activities outside of the gym like Yoga and Hikes. The weight portion of the class was definitely challenging especially after intense cardio, but none of the moves were too crazy. On the day that we scheduled to come the sign in tablet was not finding our reservation. There was some confusion with the check-in as the tablet didn't recognize our name. Halfway through class we got pulled aside to sign a waiver at the front (just me). We also explained to them that we were contacted by someone and offered a free class. The class schedule is like a rotation. You get to hit the bags and move on to a bunch of core exercises. At the end of our class we had to "sign out". Which meant we had to talk to a rep at the front. I think they use that opportunity to sell us classes. It was kind of awkward because we were dead tired and I felt kind of put on the spot. I declined and the following 2 weeks after I received several voicemails of them wanting to offer me another free class. I don't think boxing is my thing personally, but I can see how this can be an effective HIT workout for those who would enjoy boxing. I would give this place a 3.5 round it up to a 4 because the instructor and employees were kind to us even though there was a miscommunication.

I explicitly asked what the cancellation policy was suspecting that it was going to be a hassle, many gyms make it hard so they can continue charging our after you don't go there anymore. This place takes the cake in making it hard to quit. You have to send a REGISTERED letter well in advance then they charge you a $50 cancelation fee! For what! Just because you don't want to go to their hell hole anymore! Of course it's all in fine print and they don't tell you when you sign the IPAD. Then they send it to collections if you don't pay the $50.
