I decided to update my review as it was my first visit since new ownership took over. Before entering the tunnel area, there is a hanging menu and a self pay kiosk. I didn't see clay bar on the menu, so I pressed the button for help. They no longer provide this product. Ivan suggested the Signature Scrub ($34.77), which is hot wax. I have a feeling he didn't have anyone to do a hand wax, because he said it takes a little while, which we were totally fine with and told him so. He wasn't trying to upsell us that's for sure, as a hand wax is priced at $99.77. They missed an area inside the car, but Leslie made sure it was wiped down before we left. They took out the little store inside the cashier area. They no longer need a cashier as they are using a self pay kiosk. There's plenty of seating, along with an ATM machine inside the air conditioned lobby. My friend lost his wallet a while back & one of the guys cleaning the car found it, and he brought it to us while we were waiting inside for the car to be done, which was appreciated. I expected to see some changes under the new ownership, but I am sad to see they are replacing people with machines. They did a good job, but I need to find another place that offers clay bar services, along with a hand wax. read more

This is why I wash my car myself, but I haven't had time because I've been working so hard so I thought I would drive it into the closest car wash in Delray thinking Delray is reputable area and I got the worst service ever. I keep hoping that the quality will get better, but I am continuously disappointed. I always end up having to ask for a rag and wiping down the inside of my car on my own. There is no attention to detail, the cars are finished within 3 minutes regardless if they are busy or you are the only car. If the only thing you need done to your car is a vacuum then this is your place for $35 that is all you will get! Don't take your car here! I have been a loyal Customer of this car wash for years But will not be returning. On Wednesday morning I took my car here to be washed. it took longer than normal to drive it through the car wash And it wasn't busy which seemed odd. The gentleman that drove it up got out and looked at the front bumper as I'd he was checking something. I walked over and checked it out and everything appeared to be ok. Fast forward to the following day when the front drivers side sensor cover fell off and went missing. The fact that they didn't tell me this happened is inexcusable. I'm beyond upset!!!! read more

i've been a member at Rub-A-Dub car wash for close to a year and visit regularly. Living in south Florida it's common to deal with bird and lizard droppings on vehicles and that's exactly why I pay for a membership and expect professional treatment of the car and its paint. Two days ago, my car had a large amount of dried droppings on the driver side rear panel. After going through the wash a significant amount was still left on the paint. I politely asked the attendant if the car could be run through the car wash again. Instead he used a rag and what appeared to be a glass cleaner type product to scrub the area by hand. Anyone familiar with automotive paint knows that this is not the correct way to handle hardened droppings, which are acidic and can permanently damage clearcoat if improperly treated . Rather than using an appropriate remover, soaking process, or careful rewash, the residue was aggressively rubbed across the surface, etching into the paint. I returned today for another car wash and spoke to the manager Ivan to explain my concern . I was hoping for a reasonable customer service response or some effort to address the issue. He suggested a hand wax and I asked him if he would offer some kind of a compromise on pricing because of the issue. Instead, I was told they don't give discounts and when I questioned whether this is how they normally treat long-term customers, I was just asked if I wanted to cancel my membership. The response was more disappointing than the original mistake . Errors happen in any business. What really matters is how Management handles them. In this case the combination of improper care, dismissiveness and lack of accountability was extremely poor customer service and a terrible reflection on the business. I don't leave negative reviews often at all but after being a loyal customer for nearly a year and spending somewhere around $500 at this car wash I expected far better professionalism and respect. The owner decided to fire the very friendly and knowledgeable man who was the contact for people coming in for a car wash. every season when I come back to the area I go to get my car wash and sign up for a monthly unlimited plan. Last season the prices had increased which they hadn't for a while. I just returned this season and headed over only to find another increase and this one was a 25% increase. I am a business owner and understand the need to be profitable but you also need to maintain your customers and after this month, they have lost me. I spoke to the manager who was very understanding but had little he could do to address it. We came by today to get our car cleaned and purchased the "Signature Scrub" package. There's a vacuuming station followed by your car going through an auto washer and then the guys dry it off and make sure it's completely clean. My husband noticed the weather mats were not removed from the car to be vacuumed out and it was still dirty as if it hadn't been cleaned. He told the guys exactly what he expected and they proceeded to speak Creole and catch an attitude about our concerns. Upon getting in the car, it's smelled like mildew as if it was still wet like the rags that are being used are not clean. The sun roof is still dirty with finger prints, we specifically left it open so that can see it and clean it. There is also still visible pet hair in the vehicle. The package came with wiping down of the inside but there is still stains on the doors. It was not a pleasant experience and unfortunately we won't be back!! Well they put the nice guys up front before you get your car actually washed, then the dingbats as you leave since they were the least helpful. We had heard of this place before arriving, but failed to nite that the positive feedback would have been from a few years+prior. Came by to obviously get our car washed, and went with a basic level. I would think this includes to clean/wipe down the windshield inside and out. However, what we got was quite frankly, a half-as* job. Of course, the guy at the end pretended like he didn't understand me as he gladly took the cash tip which I should have deducted a couple dollars from due to the shoddy outcome. When we went back around, we showed the 'manager' the windshield and some other spots, and he pretty much said this is the job of the basic. I've had basic jobs done elsewhere and they were probably the equivalent of a premium job when it comes to here. After checking Yelp, we should have done so prior since people complained how this place went downhill over time. Highly disappointed of the waste of money, wouldn't obviously return nor recommend to anyone. read more

I used to love this place and had an unlimited membership for about 5 years. I believe there may be new owners. I cancelled my membership because the wait time increased, less time spent actually cleaning the car, and there were several times where I came by during advertised operational hours and they were closed. I went with my friend so he could wash his Mercedes. When it can out there was a black film like substance all over. The said they would wash it again. After the 3rd was, it still did not come out. My friend was pleading with the to fix their mistake. Every employee there was getting loud and yelling at him bc all they care about was that he was wasting their time. No one was nice or professional except for one employee who wrote up an incident report of what happened and said to come back and the manager will take care of it. He even specified that it did not go in with black substance and it came out with it. When my friend went back, the manager was rude and dismissive and did nothing but find ways to blame my friend and said that it had to have been that way before the was, even tho the manager specified it happened when it came out. After 30 minutes the manager finally said he would give him a little money off a buff/wax thing. My friend said that was not good enough and the manager cancelled his membership and refunded him for the month or two he had paid for. I've been going here for years and it has been steadily declining. Today I had to stand by my car and point out that windows had not been wiped, after each window they would tell me done even though they had done the next! I definitely wouldn't recommend this car wash. They were done in barely five minutes, and it shows -- there's still sand in my cupholders and scuff marks all over the car. This place is an absolute joke. I spill coffee in my car so went to get it cleaned and they didn't wipe a single thing down on the inside/dashboard. I go back and they tell me I have to wait in line for an hour when someone could have easily cleaned it in 2 minutes with a towel. this happened on 10-25. When I politely asked the manger if they could clean it they said: "why do you keep coming if you hate the service". Zero stars. Wow, never going back. We paid for a full interior and exterior clean, extra for mat cleaning... they took 4 mins and tried to convince us it was cleaned. NOTHING was cleaned, the car was sent through the wash and it was quickly vacuumed but the car still had sand and dog nose prints on the glass. Do not waste your money or time here. When we questioned the manager and asked for it to be wiped down he told us he would just "put the dirt back on". How that's for customer service?? This place came as a recommendation. I ended up not being a fan of it after I left. I don't normally take my truck through these type of car washes, but my fiances car was a mess after the recent long distance relocation with a dog inside. So, I decided to treat her car well. I ended up choosing the basic wash package which still came out to over $25. The process went fairly quick. The day before I signed up through their website for VIP discounts and was immediately emailed a link for coupons. Those coupons happened to show an expiration date of 12/31/2019 .. yes, its now almost 12/2020. I showed them to the cashier as I was paying and his response was "I don't know who sends those out, but we can't accept them." .. Well, its coming from your website/email operator. Kind of a bunch of crap if you ask me. It was supposed to have an air freshener sprayed during the service, but when I got in to leave the interior smelled like B.O. Yuck. They also didn't completely clean the windows and mirrors. As I was leaving, one of the workers started yelling at me because I didn't shut my door all the way. Back off bro. I know how to operate a motor vehicle. I was rolling a few feet forward to re-shut the door. Calm down. I can do way better for way less. read more
