The good thing about this place is the free vacuums and cleaner to clean the inside of your car. The car wash itself is the pits. I got suckered into purchasing the monthly plan. The first time I went through the wash, my car was barely cleaned. The front windshield was still dirty, and there was still mud on the side of my cars. I decided since I got the monthly plan, I might as well put it to good use and go through the wash a second time! On my next lap around, I waited for about 10 minutes before being told the car wash was broken and no cars could go through. I thought maybe that was the reason my car wasn't actually clean. Fine. On my second visit, I had bird dropping on the top of my car. I went through the car wash and came out with the dropping still completely there, as well as the dirt on the side of my car... I went through the wash AGAIN to STILL have the same outcome! I definitely will be stopping my monthly plan because it's not worth it at all. read more

After my car wash at Zips....my windows were smeared and had a film on them. There were still residue and bug spots on the car. For $30.00 a wash, plus tax, I would at least expect my car to be clean. The sprayer, when you first enter the car wash barely sprayed the drivers side and did not spray the passenger side at all. Very upset over this....Do not go here! read more

The worst....Never again.....I have to find another car wash....This place has gotten considerably worse each time I go~!

Car wash was decent. The guy who helped me purchase the wash was lovely, but the guy in the wash was rude and unprofessional. Won't return.

The cops in Boynton Beach is terrible. Employees are unengaged and not interested in providing a good service.

I do not recommend it. I paid for the $24 premium package, yet my car--including the windows--was left dirty. The drying process is poor and leaves the vehicle wet, and the vacuum cleaner doesn't effectively pick up dust from the interior. It was absolutely terrible. read more

I am being a bit generous with the 3 stars because I do actually like the concept, and value as I do use the service quite often and promote it with my friends. Now let let me explain... I love keeping my car clean and kept getting tired of paying over $100 whenever I went to get my car washed, cleaned and waxed every couple of months, on top of the occasional $30+ for in between general washing and cleaning - and then finding that they "missed a spot" which were often the spots I really wanted cleaned. That being said, I started looking into these new membership options, and found Zips Car Wash. I really like it for a few reasons: value, comfort, & cost. It's really not expensive, their base membership is below what I was paying for regular car maintenance & it gets me the wash, access to vacuums, air, microfiber towels & glass cleaner (all the basics you need - minus the labor ) but that's okay cause I do a better job in less time as I have come to find out The one reason why only 3 stars now.... Often times the reader gets confused with my sun pass and it's annoying having to always remove my sun pass or get an associate to cover it when it's a stick on. Also, couple of times already I have had to move from one vacuum station to another just so I have better suction. I was told their air pressure has moments where it's flaky (cmon Zips! You can do better). So... the little hassles can really be a deterrent and annoying factor, specially if you're only here once... and also even worse when you have a membership and makes you want to cancel instead. read more

The take no responsibility for damage their lousy car wash did to the finish of my car. There were scratches all over the trunk and hood The filed a report which corporate dismissed within hours They actually had the nerve to blame the dealership. Irresponsible corporate toilet bowl read more

I spent $20 on a car wash here and it barely cleaned my car -- the sides of mar car were bot even TOUCHED. I honestly expected a much better wash for the price. The main reason I came was for the free vacuums, but that was also frustrating. I had to move to multiple different stations before finding one that actually had decent suction. Overall, not worth the time or money. I would not recommend and am never going back. read more

Pull up at 6:30 on a Friday night. Supposed to be open till 7. People vacuuming in the dark as they turned off all the lights. I will be canceling my membership after being there a few years. A very poor car wash. There was very little water pressure, almost no soap and a quick ride through that lasted mere seconds. When I went to dry off my car, the wheels were still DUSTY! How can that happen in a mechanical car wash? Luckily I just tried it out before joining with a membership. I would not recommend this service. read more

I don't recommend this location because as a premium member I am not getting all the services I'm paying for. They are always under repair. Don't waste your money coming here. read more

Stopped into this clip joint for a car wash, I should have never paid by credit card because they put me on a monthly bill of $27 a month, I live nowhere near the car wash and would never buy a membership when I have a car wash across the street from my house that I really like. They refused to refund the money I've given into the fraud department of my credit card and I hope they slam them. Be careful people do not give this place a credit card you better off with a dirty car. read more

It's a miracle when I am able to use my monthly membership without having an attendant helping at the gate or driving up to see cones in front of a closed car wash during operating hours. Today, it was smooth, with little suds left on the back of the car, lots of available clothes to dry my car and both vacuums working on each side. Just wish each visit was consistently the same good service. read more

You can improve everything with this horrible car wash. I went here for the first time today. I have a Chevy Silverado truck. I went through the wash and pulled into the vacuum area. When I got out of my truck I noticed it was still really dirty on both sides. There were 2 girls working the drive through doing nothing, so I asked them to come take a look at my truck 10' away. They immediately told me, "you are not getting another wash". I said fine. You will never see me again. read more

These jerks took over my existing car wash and the membership NEVER EVER opens the gate. Manager basically indifferent and emailed corporate,,and get this...they said that won;t even cancel my membership because they recently (*four months ago!!!) took it over and cant access the record. F*%K this place! I WAS a member, before they did their upgrade. NO UPGRADE to MY SERVICE. I used to be able to drive in and drive out in a minute. NOW you have to wait in line because they are constantly signing up new members at the entrance. The quality is hit or miss, sometimes the equipment works, sometimes is doesn't. Today was the final straw! WHOEVER the big guy is who told my husband off and said to never come back, LONG TIME CUSTOMER who paid on time every month has taken her business down the street. I became a meember last year in Boyton Beach and I go every Sunday. This location has a lot of issues. Equipment is rarely working at 100% Short staffed so you wait at the gate to get in Water and towels are often out Prices went up but I dont see any difference in the added wax I was told would happen. Id appreciate it if someone at Corporate could get back to me. icycle53@gmail.com read more

I had a terrible experience this morning. I signed up with their app last night which offered me a free wash (Basic Plus) and added Ultra HD Glaze for $5. When I got to Zips in Boynton Beach and I gave the attendant the code it didn't work He tried it several times until the code disappeared and he said I would have to call customer service but he wouldn't let me in anyway. I realized that I received birthday points for a future wash so I used that. So I was out a free wash for downloading the App and another free was for the points I had to use. When I got home I tried calling customer support but no one answered I will not be returning until someone calls me to straighten this out read more

Went by for a quick car wash. It's a DIY operation!! They put your car through the wash/soak and then you are given hand towels and a vacuum to dry and clean the interior AND exterior of your own car. A 10 minute errand turned into a 40 minute workout in which I was dripping sweat, frustrated/angry, and actually felt SWINDLED!! read more

First visit here. All good. My car hadn't been washed in 3 weeks. I asked the attendant if the $10 wash would clean it - he said yes. I looked doubtful and was pondering paying the $20 to make sure it got cleaned. He offered to run it through again for free if it didn't come out to my satisfaction the first time. Oh! You don't say? Gotta love a customer-centric business. I drove ahead to the entrance of the car wash where an attendant was standing. The setup is similar to El Caro. An attendant hoses down your car and then you put it in neutral and let the machine do the rest. When you exit, you can pull into one of the parking spots with vacuums and air. I finished drying the few wet spots on my car and then did my windows with Windex. I had to move to another parking spot because my first selection was missing the vacuum hose. I was thinking about driving home and using my dust buster, but so glad I decided to try Zips. The Zips vacuum was powerful!! And the fact it was free meant I didn't have to play "beat the clock" hoping my quarters didn't run out. Bottom line...Zips is WAAAAAAY better then El Caro (I used to go to frequent the ones in Miami). El Caro never could get my car clean -- even with their most expensive wash with locked in the dirt under their ceramic wax coating (lol). Great budget car wash. I'll be back! PS I was there on a Saturday morning ~10am. The line was fairly long. Expect a 10+ minute wait during peak hours. read more

This place keeps getting worse each time I come. A while back they stopped pre-washing the right side of the vehicles. Last week they stopped pre-washing at all, saying that the hose broke. Today, they removed one of the ore-wash signs, so maybe they are not planning to fix it. Also, the exclusive lanes for members is no more. They removed the sign. Also, I have noticed the washing process has been simplified. read more

Horrible!!! You take your car to get clean! Do not go to this car wash. They do not do anything but spray your car with soapy water and then afterwards you vacuum it you dry it and whatever other cleaning things you are able to do yourself. For the same cost of other car washes where they actually do a better job and provide that service that you're doing this place is not worth it. I paid $27+and my car came out still with dirt on it and he told me they do 8000 cars a week and they get very few complaints. I have been going to Zips car wash for years. I loved it because it's easy, quick and affordable. I like that I can vacuum my own car. The last time I went, I said yes to the monthly membership. After the month, I decided to cancel it, as my schedule changed and am not in the area as often. Welllllllll Nobody picks up either phone number. Nobody calls back the voicemails. And I had to call my bank to block the next payment. This feels UNSAFE and PREDATORIAL. The forms say you can cancel at any time, yet there is nobody to connect with to do so! I finally sent an email and am hoping to see results today. DO NOT DO THE MEMBERSHIP IF YOU WANT TO EVER CANCEL. I rarely write reviews, but this is dark icky energy and it is not okay to keep charging someone's card against their wishes!! read more

If I could give negative stars i would. Do not do business here, they are con-artists. I did the "free trial" and when I went to cancel on the last day of the month I was informed by customer support that I had to cancel 7 days before the trial ended....I ended up paying $55 for the next month without any refund or understanding. $55 is a lot for a month of car washes right??? It just so happens that they conveniently charge me this price even though they are running promotions for $25 for 3 months!!...I thought that $55 would at LEAST give me 3 months too...WRONG. $55, 1-Month. I am a college student making a living wage, and i'm stressing about a CAR WASH stealing my money. Insanity. Never bringing my business here again. read more

I haven't been to this car wash in years. I figured I'd give it a shot. I should have read the reviews first. $18 for a basic car wash and my car is still dirty. Bottom line is I just spent $18 plus tax and my car is still bleeping dirty. read more

The Boynton Beach location has the root staff in South Florida. After they get you in line and boxed in to go into the car wash, then they tell you only members can get the car washed. There's no way out without making 3 to 5 other cars move, so they are forcing you into a membership. The workers were unresponsive, unreliable, and absolutely had the worst customer service of any place. I've been in the past two years. this place is a total scam to get you locked into a membership costing you money every month. read more

Ever since the Boynton Beach location implemented their RFID tag system I can never get through without assistance from an attendant...ever! I have an RFID tag on my windshield for the entrance gate into my community and the attendant always has to come over and place his tablet over that tag and sometimes that works and the Zips tag reader detects my tag and their gate opens. I even took a soft drink can and cut a piece of the aluminum large enough to cover my community's tag and I affix it with a piece of duct tape to cover that tag. It worked exactly three times but now even that bypass doesn't help. More times than not the attendant has to ask for my phone number, enter the number from the Zips RFID tag and while I'm waiting for all of that to happen, other cars arriving after me are going through ahead of me. I lose time at the start because of the problem reading the tag and lose even more time because I've now got vehicles ahead of me when I should have been ahead of them. Also, the dryers leave a lot to be desired as there is still significant water on my vehicle when it finishes the drying cycle. This wasn't always the case when I first started patronizing this car wash several years ago. My spouse has the exact same issues so we've decide after going through this same experience again this morning that we will be looking into other options for car washes. 09/16/24 Update: After reaching out to Zips customer service number, the representative made a complimentary adjustment to the monthly membership fee for me and my spouse and said that we would no longer need to have our membership information manually entered when the RFID tag reader conflicted with our community RFID tag. Shortly after that conversation I went back and only needed to have the attendant cover my community RFID tag and I was allowed to enter without the previous hassles. That's good customer service. read more
