Just be cautious and take pics of your entire vehicle inside and out of everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, dashboard, the plastic cover on your odometer...everything. I have come to this car wash plenty of times. It's not always the best cleaning but it's something. But this time around I had to call about the plastic cover on dash for my odometer being damaged. Of course I had no way of proving that this was not like this before, so there wasn't much I could do. But they definitely took the route of saying that "this had to have been building up over time" again, I've never had any issues before, and I would've noticed this had it been building up overtime. read more

It would be nice if they had more people during the busy hrs. After having an exhausting five minute negotian about the type of service we wanted, we were both saddened and angry at the amount of incorrect information they tried to feed us, with the intention of ripping us off. My car was in desperate need of a wax. However, we were short on time, but we pulled in strictly for an interior and exterior wash. Just the basics; some vacuuming, windows, tires, just a no frills car wash. We left without having our car done, and then we drove to the car wash that we should have gone to in the first place. The car wash attendant refused to accept the fact that we only came in for a basic wash. He attempted to use scare tactics and was very aggressive. His behavior was borderline scary, especially since he was obnoxiously loud. He blatantly lied to us as he went into his "hard sell" pitch to sell us a service that wasn't needed. Upselling is one thing and even expected, but trying to persuade us into buying a mold removal service, priced at $125, is a lousy thing to do, considering that there was no mold. The car wash that we went to after leaving this place confirmed what we already knew. There was never any mold. It appears that the male attendant at Lenny's was trying to take advantage of us. To be fair, if he truly believed that the tree sap was mold, then maybe he shouldn't be interacting with customers and giving out false information. The next day, I took my car to the dealership so they could check for mold. The service advisor confirmed my car was mold free. This particular section of Delray has a large elderly population. I am an older person myself, but I know better. But what if I didn't? Moving forward, I will drive the extra five miles to the other local car wash that has been around for many years. Marco, thank you for teaching us a valuable lesson. Because of you, we now realize that convenience isn't always key. Sometimes, it's worth driving an extra ten minutes. Intentionally misleading people is wrong. The fact that you are doing this in an area that has a 55+ demographic is completely nauseating, in my opinion anyway. Yelp is about real people and their real-life experiences, and based upon my own experience, I will not and can not recommend your establishment to anyone. Again- Lenny is the most despicable , unethical business and business man I ever met- Check out all his negative reviews on google, yelp tc- He has a track record of dqamaging cars, indicating he will pay for his damage and then proceeds to either ghost the customer or lie about the outcome. His employee damaged my car by runnung it into a pole causing me $9,000 of damages. When I sent him the quote he claimed fraud, despite the fact I gave him two quotes from tesla certified reputable body shops. He then proceeded to ghost me. I was obviouly angry and let him know my thoughts. Its been over a month and he still hasnt responded to my insurance company regarding the damage he has inflicted. He claims to be a public adjuster as well as a car wash owner and he will as he has done with others delay, avoid, lie etc to shun his responsibility. I spilled coffee on my driver seat within a year ago and came here to get the seat cleaned. I was charged $50. I had to come back a second time because there was still coffee there. I spilled coffee again, came back and they are charging me $90. Absolutely disgusting. I said I was here before for $50 and I was told prices went up. $40 more is pretty drastic. I had no choice but to have it done so here I am. Their business practice is absolutely horrible. Being that I was here before you would think the price wouldn't go up so much. The first time I got the inside and the outside of my car washed. They did a great job! Second time, just the outside and they did a good job (not great) but I still signed up for a membership. Outside only (unlimited washes). Third time it was a bit of a mess! Why? When you sign up for a membership they have to call the office (via walkie) to confirm the membership. 7 minutes later and the man couldn't reach anyone so he said "go ahead". No one knew which job to do (even though I said outside only). They all checked with each other on what to do. It took a long time and didn't do a good job. Fourth time, they barely touched my car. It was dried very quickly and the tires had spots they missed (not black and shiny). The man went inside to confirmed the membership. Not sure why. Fifth time, they did a horrible job all around. My car had spots on it, they barely dried it and missed the tires like before. A very rushed job. It seems they only focus on cars being detailed or get the inside and outside washed. I discovered 2 days after getting my car washed that the person who had done the interior vacuuming of the car had failed to replace the front driver side floor mat after he was done. I called the car wash and spoke to Marco who is a manager, who told me to come down and see if it was in the lost and found, which it wasn't. Then Lenny, the owner, got involved. He told me it is posted when you come in that they have no responsibility for anything once a car leaves the premises. As a result, rudely he denied my request that they replace the mat. He told me in an accusatory manner, that he doesn't know what I did with the mat after I left his shop. All he needed to do is apologize for the mishap and offer me a few car washes to take care of the $120 it was going to replace the mat. That would have truly cost him nothing and would have kept a customer happy! Instead, he told me that he has plenty of business and didn't care if I ever come back again. A very stupid and short sighted response. I will never set foot in his shop again and will make sure that all my friends know about my experience! In response to Lenny's comments, you say that because of the sign out front that you had written specifically to limit your responsibility, you can't do anything to take care of a customer issue is a lot of garbage. As the business owner, you have the power to make things right and satisfy your customer. The fact that you continue to insinuate that I threw out the mat and that your employees had nothing to do with it's being missing is beyond belief. That is what caused me to react the way I did, and I apologize for anything that I said that may have been off base. The fact is to accuse me of coming up with a story to try to get you to replace my mat is more than ridiculous and infuriating. That is what set me off. I have never once removed my mats from the car, which are form fitted and blend in completely with the car. Unless you are looking for the mat specifically, you can miss that it is not there. I drove my car home on Friday after the wash, and didn't drive it again until Sunday afternoon, when I noticed it was missing. I had a disappointing experience at Lenny's Car Wash in Delray when attempting to get my Tesla Cybertruck cleaned. The staff refused to run my vehicle through the automated tunnel, citing concerns about the Cybertruck's width and potential damage to its "paint." When I pointed out that the Cybertruck has a stainless steel exoskeleton with no traditional paint, they offered no clear response. They also admitted to never having tried running a Cybertruck through the tunnel, which made their reasoning seem speculative. Instead, they insisted on a hand wash at a higher price, which felt like an upcharge for a vehicle they didn't want to accommodate. Additionally, the front desk employee, Mark, claimed Tesla would soon stop producing Cybertrucks due to "problems," which is misleading and unprofessional, as Tesla continues to manufacture and deliver these vehicles with no such announcement. Regarding their width concern, U.S. regulations (per the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) allow vehicles up to 80 inches wide on most roads, and the Cybertruck measures approximately 79.9 inches, well within standard limits for a car wash tunnel. Their refusal to accommodate my vehicle without a valid, evidence-based reason left me frustrated. I won't be returning and would not recommend Lenny's to Tesla owners or anyone seeking transparent service. I paid for a full-service wash and left with my car looking just as dirty--if not worse--than when I arrived. The interior was barely touched. Dust still covered the dashboard, cup holders were filthy, and they didn't even bother to wipe the windows properly. Outside? Streaks, spots, and missed areas all over the paint. Went to get a quick simple $25 interior/ exterior wash. Car is basically new bought a few months ago just had some dust I wanted wiped down and refreshed. The attendant opens the back driver side door to check the back seat and then tries to upsell a $100 wash with a discount with "but I do for you." The attendant mentioned mold and something else on my car's hood. There's nothing wrong with or on my car hood as it's only 4 months old. Really turned off knowing a lot of people around here will get pushed into these upsells for no reason. I paid for exterior and my car that was NOT clean on the exterior after going through Lenny's car wash. Their "17" point car wash is terrible. Half of the hood of my car is still dirty as if it wasn't washed at all. Then I get to the "hand dry" - Lenny's idea of hand dry is just the rear of the car for external washes. This is not noted on any sign. I assessed and the front was still wet too. When I pay for a wash and dry at that price I would expect the WHOLE exterior of the car. For the cost and the terrible job this isn't worth it. I would be better off at a $3.50 gas station car wash. At that then I would expect terrible results. read more
