Hello everyone! I would like to put in my experience with RTI . I'm a very honest person, first of all and I can tell you firsthand about RTI because I've worked with them for 27 years as a Property Manager. I've seen how RTi has evolved into the company that they are today . I do have a lot of Love and Respect for them , but I can say that at this present time with RTI , that I strongly believe this great experience was owed to the great team that was created between my Supervisor, Carina Navarro and I at the Property I manage . Recently , The time came where my Owner to the Property sold the Property and therefore our relationship with RTI came to its end . So heartbreaking for myself and My tenants . So you see, I am speaking from the heart because I definitely see the big difference between Management Companies and I'll leave it at that . But I want to say that the Supervisor, Carina Navarro is an exceptional employee to RTI . She eats, breathes and truly loves doing her job. She knows her stuff and cares about people which in turns makes it great for the Manager that works under her and the people that live in her Properties that She Supervises. It was smooth sailing with her and for everyone that was included. Never had complaints from my people at the Apt . Building or Myself. Credit is needed where it's deserved! I have gone through many Supervisors from the beginning to the end with Rti and I can say proudly that it's been great ! The only thing I can surely differ on is when it comes to Eric . I did start off stating I that I believe in Honesty . So , if you end up moving into one of Rti 's Properties and you find out that Carina Navarro is the Supervisor to the Manager of that location feel reassured You will be in good hands with both the Manager and the Supervisor because it's her. read more

This review is of an Airbnb rental in Redondo Beach, managed by Michelle of RTI Properties. Michelle is an exceptionally warm and talented person!! I have nothing but great things to say about working with her. I visited California for the first time this summer and the trip was a big deal for me. I'm from a nothing town on the east coast and I never thought I'd have the opportunity to see California!! My trip was amazing! As anyone who travels will tell you, your accommodations are a large factor of a successful vacation. The unit was open and bright, clean and relaxing. There were so many options for breakfast and plenty of coffee and tea. Michelle even had a card for me and my partner sitting on the table when we got there, fresh fruit, muffins, and flowers!! The presentation was great! Personal touches matter and she knows that! When we had a slight change in our itinerary, she was accommodating and responded quickly. She texted us while we were there and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. She really takes pride in providing excellent hospitality!! Eco friendly cleaning products are used and provided throughout the unit which is a nice touch! The location of the property is ideal! A short walk to the beach and the pier, restaurants and beautiful beach town scenery. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. If you like a more relaxed beach scene, this is the perfect place. That's why I'm coming back for Christmas vacation! First time having a sunny Christmas and I can't wait!!! Lastly, and maybe most importantly: the cost of these units are extremely reasonable considering the beautiful space and great location. Our family owns and had managed multi-unit (29 and 60 units) Apartment buildings in the San Francisco Bay Area and Anaheim for over thirty years. As we reach our retirement years we wanted to step back and not be as directly involved in the day to day management of our properties. In 2016 we actively searched for Property Management Companies in the both the SF Bay Area and Anahiem who we can trust to take over the management of our properties and to build a long term working relationship. Our selection criteria included extensive experience specifically in managing Apartment buildings, a professional office and field staff, reliable and qualified network of vendors and suppliers, excellent tenant and owner relationships, and responsive and timely communications. Bottom line, we wanted a property management company that would take over and manage our property with the same level of care and interest as we have as the owners of the property. After a thorough search of over 20 PMCs, we found just such a company in RTI Property Management in Gardena for our 60 units Apartment building in Anaheim. The transition to RTI in August 2016 was seamless. Since taking over, the property continues to enjoy greater than 97% occupancy. RTI uses Appsfolio for tenant and financial management and reporting. As owners we have real time access to the status and on-going activities for the property. I can't say enough about the team at RTI that allows us to have peace of time as owners knowing our investment and tenants are being cared for so that we can enjoy our retirement years. I Just signed a lease for my new home with RTI Properties. After months of trying to buy a house in LA and backing out of 3 offers that failed inspection, I decided to rent and I thought this will be a piece of cake compared to buying a house and dealing with the banks and loans, geez was I wrong! There was several issues hunting a place to rent in LA: 1- You must have clear rental history, for me I owned a house for years so IMO this should be better than rental history but clearly it was not. 2- If you love dogs and want to rent a house, the dog must be less than 25 lbs? what if the dog gain weight? LOL. 3- You look for houses or apartments for rent in LA and find many on Zillow or Trulia ..., you send a message to the landlord so you can view the place = wait and wait and wait but no one reply to you! so why do they advertise the place for rent? I could not get it! don't they want to rent the place? from my experience only 15% or less will get back to you. This was up until I found this house in an area that I fell in love with, I texted the phone # on the Trulia listing and Eric Martinez answered in 2 second and told me he will be there in half an hour, I drove there right away and it was a pleasure meeting Eric, he is very professional guy that made everything easy for me. Do not rent here!!!!! Non existent customer service or consideration for their tenants!!! I came outside to find a crew of workers with materials all on my car & blocking it in. No notice from office that they'll be maintenance, no courtesy request to use my car as a tool bench, & not a single care given when i called to report it. I called & was immediately transferred to CLAUDIA in the Gardena office who literally did not listen to me, told me i was inconsiderate for thinking people who are coming to work are inconsiderate, kept cutting me off when I spoke & raises her voiced repeatedly while accusing me of raising mine. Not the 1st disrespectful incident i had with this company!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM!!!! I regretful still reside here so if i get an backlash from sharing an honest experience I just had they'll be more then a bad review!! I want to talk to management & someone who respects the tenants & their issues!! *update* Denise (or ) from corp reached out to me, same day to do the very basic thing CLAUDIA did not...apologize for the experince & listen! Thats honestly all I wanted, which is why I called in the 1st place...but the dismissive accusatory attitude i got from Claduia forced me to escalate. So moral of the story is if you feel disrespected or dismissed by office support, corporate at least will listen! read more

I've lived at my apartment building for 8 years and recently RTI Properties took over as management company. They are already 10 times better than the slumlords that used to manage the building. The fact that they answer the phone and respond to voicemails is a relief in and of itself, as the previous managers were barely reachable. I had a maintenance request my first week after the takeover and they promptly responded and took care of it. They even followed up with a satisfaction survey upon completion. (Previous manager never followed up or seemed to care.) Also during the first week, I signed in to RPI's bill portal and noticed a mysterious balance that had carried over from the previous management company. Apparently the previous mangers had added extra unspecified charges to my account and didn't say a peep to me about it. However, the new property manager Eric Martinez was kind enough to investigate the issue and promptly remove the phony charges on my account. Eric was a pleasure to deal with and seems like a nice, reasonable guy. He assured me that RPI cares about their tenants and is always available to help with any concerns. I look forward to dealing with him and RTI moving forward. Five Stars! read more

I have been with RTI for many years and they manage several of my apt complexes in the south bay area. Recently, my designated property manager left the company on short notice leaving my properties without a direct manager. I had some vacancies in my complexes that were not getting filled as a result of there being no direct manager looking after the properties. I had a lengthy conversation with the owner of RTI (Robert Abassi) and he immediately placed a new property manager, Carina Partida, into the mix to manage my properties. Carina came in quickly and took a grasp of the inner workings of my properties. She put together a game plan and was able to get several of my vacant units leased quickly at top rents! Carina has been very attentive and always returns my emails and texts in a timely manner as well as being very diligent fixing any issues that arise. I would highly recommend RTI and especially Carina Partida to manage your properties! Thank you Carina for your hard and diligent work. I've heard of multiple Cars being broken into in my building. Packages being stolen. Then the mailboxes all broken in last night! Not even broken into the perpetrator clearly used keys nothing was even damaged! Everyone's mail either stolen or lying around all over the floor. The manager notified us at 4am of the break in. The units are probably next help us GOD. Their is a known thief in the building and there is nothing being done about this! He blatantly steals from people all of the time and whats weird is he is buddy buddy with the manager people have even seen him going in her unit! He hangs around the building smoking hanging out doing nothing. Moving asap. We had better management when our old manager Jerry retired. Mind you he's in his 80's. I've been living here for years and I liked the building but I see now its time to go!! This woman has been rude and seems unfit to be a manager. I am protecting my identity so that I don't get any backlash from the manager or the thief. I hope this review results in a much needed change!! read more

This is a review of an AirBNB property in Redondo Beach, managed by Michelle at RTI Properties Michelle was a PERFECT host.  She answered all of my questions prior to my arrival.  I spent time in Redondo Beach for a Mother's Day staycation for my son and I.  She made sure that my stay was ideal for my Mother's Day getaway.  The weather wasn't as nice as I had hoped.  Michelle provided me with a list of useful suggestions on activities in the area for my son and I.  She checked on us after we checked-in to make sure that everything was ok and fitting for our stay.  ALL of the extra touches (beach toys for my son, Mother's Day card/flowers, activity coupons, futon for my son's slumber, and breakfast items) made our stay more comfortable.  The unit was very clean and had many comforts of home.  The studio is in an ideal location - safe & quiet area, walking distance to the pier and eateries and a short car ride to the beach.  I would definitely stay here again and recommend Michelle and this studio to others.  Thanks Michelle :-) read more

The encounter that I had with the receptionist Tiara of RTI properties was pure professionalism at it's best. The amount of patience and effort that she provided for me was off the charts. My situation lasted more than a few days and the help she gave never changed after day one which implies that she takes helping people and residents seriously. A very rare trait in customer service. Thank you for your Hospitality. It never fails when I call Maintenance Supervisor Jimie of RTI Properties concerning property damages needing fixing. The response time is always timely. My most recent call to him was concerning the repairing of a security door. It was dislodged and broken and needed to be replaced. He sent a crew out and the Maintenance crew that was sent performed a phenomenal job resecuring the building for me and its residents. Thank you for the continual timely responses and hard work in the repairs from the Maintenance crew. read more

Actually, Today after all my bad experiences, I was passing the street with my car and I just saw the building I liked the window, I stopped by to call to the management to see if they have something available, with me first call and second ring Oreo answered me and she said someone was still living on the unit, in 10 minutes she found someone to show the unit, and after visiting their unit, she called me and answered all the questions that I had and resolved my concerns pationtly. I haven't applied fro the unit yet, but I will give 5 starts to their customer service and responsibly, I said to her over the phone, but because I enjoyed her customer service and how she was quick with me rather than sending me to someone or somewhere or junk emailing propcess. I enjoyed her customer service and how she listened me. There is no matter if I can get the apartment or not. her score is 5 out of 5 read more

Moving is a pain... I was very fortunate to find Eric @RTI Property Management. He made what is a very long & stressful process seam so simple, latterly took all of the hard work out of my hands. I was able to first see the property the day after the previous tenant had moved-out, honestly it was less than inviting. Eric assured me it would all look perfect by the time he finished working with it. His words, " I will make it a home for you." I won't lie, I was a little worried, little bit of distrust. But I couldn't of been more wrong... he made it all happen, the house looks great down to the last details, he did it all. Thought-out the hole experience he was so friendly, professional and replied to my questions /concerns immediately. I have a beautiful new townhouse that I will be calling my home for some years thanks to him. Bottom line, great service, thank you Eric. read more

Rti properties Kornblum apartments in Hawthorne, Ca are infested with cockroaches.I use to live there.Glad to say USE TO! A FRIEND OF MINE STILL RESIDES AT THE KORNBLUM LOCATION SADLY.. It's rather sad that big management Company's like this screw over tenants by not properly treating there units all at once. Slumlords rather treat tenants units upon there requests instead of properly treating all the units at once. This method of treatment will permanently remedy the cockroach infestation. Rti properties rather stay within there budget because the proper treatment probably would cut into there profits. I bet none of there management staff lives under these conditions. Do not rent from here unless you love cockroaches!!! Karma will come for them soon with many lawsuits if the tenants are smart enough to proceed. Its called uninhabitable living conditions...... read more

For a property owner who does not reside in California , I am grateful to have RTI Properties manages my residential rental building. Both the Firm, especially the Property Manager Eric Martinez who is assigned to the building, are extremely professional, knowledgeable, responsive and keep us fully updated in the building matters via monthly detail financial reports and email correspondences. All questions and requests are responded thoroughly and promptly. Even though the Property Manager is very mindful in managing the costs for the building owner, he is also caring to the tenants to ensure repairs are done promptly and the building is clean and safe for the residents. I live in 13916 Cerise Ave. Apartment complex and John Sanchez has been an amazing property manager. He is always a available day or night to handle any issues that may arise. He always makes sure we are happy with the results of any repairs that may have been done. Recently my apartment flooded pretty late at night and he came rushing with a bucket to figure out what the problem was. He would check in on the progress of the repairs and would keep us updated until it was safe for us to come back. I have lived here for 7 years and since John has been in charge it has felt like a swankier apartment building. John is always watering the plants outside and the driveway. I always see the pool and walkway very clean and I know it's because he is on top of making sure the complex is taken care of and feels like home to all the tenets. read more

We are a partnership that has used RTI Properties since 2000. They've managed 4 20+ unit buildings for that entire time, and for a number of years, 6 buildings. They have protected our interest beyond their contract. Their contractor contacts have potentially saved us more than we pay them! The incredible accounting reports they provide are sent directly to our accountant without modification, even though due diligence required we check them. They also greatly reduced our paperwork in refinancing the properties. Their account rep Carina, oversees our buildings regularly keep us well informed. When we are expecting a vacancy, we often receive advance quotes and suggestions on potential work, thus reducing the turn around time. They are truly an incredible organization. Rachel Colmenero, the Property Manager is the BEST! She made my experience living at 13707 Van Ness Ave very pleasant by attending to my concerns immediately. She was always very professional and genuinely nice. The property was always kept clean, secured, and it was very quiet at night. When I found out I had to break my lease due to my job transferring out of state she was very supportive and she explained my options. She worked hard at finding another renter so I wouldn't have to continue paying the rent while living in another state. I appreciate her kindness throughout everything. I've been living here since September any problems I've had it it's always been the next day problem solved as if I've never had a problem not really a problem maintenance upkeep of the apartments always clean never know trash outside and if there is is always picked up very quickly neighborhood is very quiet my neighbors a key to her self I keep to myself as well my Apartment is very clean and always well taken care of almost like living in the home actual house but it's not but it feels like a very big especially since I all I can say is that RTI is very very helpful and the speedy time with any request that I have thank you very much read more

I rented an apartment from RTI Properties and they were as good as property management gets! Anytime I needed anything on the apartment they had a crew of people to service any repair request. Deb Landvatter, our Property Manager was always on point. She gave me her cell number and was always texting and calling me to get repairs done evenings & weekends. I have dealt with allot of apartment managers and "Professional" management companies but I am here to tell you Deb from RTI put them all to shame with her attention to detail and to making sure our needs were met.
