In 2023, I got a hard money loan with RTI. A gentleman named Tom claimed they did all the funding in-house. This loan dragged on for months and was funded by 10+ individuals. It took weeks for everyone's wires to get sent in. Tom stated several times that all of RTI loans are funded quickly, as it's all in-house. Not the case. Then they had me include two properties I own as collateral for a $ 650,000 loan. Just one property had 1.5 million in equity! Tom claimed to have driven by both properties and knows real estate after 20+ years in the business, and valued one property almost a full million under what I sold for 6 months after the loan. This guy is full of it. Huge loan origin fees, non-replies, and lack of knowledge are just the beginning of the shit show dealing with RTI. I have had the loan paid off for over a year and a half, and after numerous attempts to contact RTI, I am still unable to get them to remove RTI from the deed and have my new grant deed issued. Been living for 3 years at one of the properties. Rent goes up $100 every year for no reason. We still have to use cardboard to keep our window from shaking in the wind. Have a 1in gap in the top of the window and after having 5 different inspectors come and price to have window re done they refuse to fix the problem. Laundry facilities are never clean and no security was upgraded after multiple cars had been broken into. Broken pipes and lights in landscaping rarely get fixed causing flooding and giving the place an unprofessional look. BEWARE if you rent from this property!! read more

The other tenants living with me also called a number of times with no avail. She was out of the office or never available. She never returned any of my voicemails and there was no one else the secretary could direct me to. I hate to leave a negative review but RTI needs to get their act together. I loved my time living at Artesia Apartments and was sad to leave. Tim was phenomenal at his job, always available and willing to help. He is also super responsive and keeps the common areas nice and clean. This place is super quite and a wonderful place to return to and unwind. It is also located near beaches. She had yelled at me and hung up on me because I went to the office instead of her to discuss an issue I had. The people at the office are just as bad. They do not care about their renters at all. Two Thumbs up and No hair pulled out! Eric from RTI was so nice and worked fast to get me into a new apartment. Credit check was fast and I found out within an hour that I had been Approved! The apartment I was moving into went through a complete makeover and once everything was completed I instantly felt at home. This review is regarding the space that RTI Properties manage. I wanted to book a nice place, close to the beach for my boyfriend who was visiting me. This spot did not disappoint!!! From the very beginning my experience was a great one! All my questions were answered, the unit was absolutely immaculately clean and beautiful inside. There were items in the fridge and cupboard for snacks and breakfast, which was an added bonus. What I enjoyed most was being able to walk to the strand and enjoy the beach. This is the worst property management I've ever dealt with. I would suggest to looking elsewhere. Currently I'm trying to get refunded for prorated rent. I had put my 30 day notice with them mid January and was to be out by February 21st 2021. I saw I was being charged full rent for month of February but was told by the property manager that the money would be refunded back along with my deposit and go ahead and pay full month of February . I've yet to see that refund and no one seems to respond back to my text or emails. Aside from that when I first moved in I didn't have internet for 3 months. They forgot to set up the whole front complex with access to internet. My hot water went out twice during winter and one of the times it took them 3 days to fix it. My garage was leaking water. To sum it up, they are terrible at communicating with you whenever there is an issue with your apartment. They seem to suddenly become unavailable and stop responding to calls or text. These are only some of the issues I dealt with but there were many more and I'm just glad I'm no longer renting from RTI properties. read more

They have a great team and are extremely responsive to our requests for maintenance issues (air conditioning, lighting, etc.) when they come up from time to time. The building is always kept in excellent condition. I was charged TWICE on a credit check for my husband and myself THREE weeks ago. I was told the process takes 3-5 business days. My credit was never ran and i never received a call regarding the unit for rent! I called the girl that shows the units and it was already rented! How are you going to charge someone TWICE and not provide a service or follow up call?! This place is a scam. I'm filing fraud with my bank against this establishment! *Correction; I was charged twice on each person for a credit check! If there was an option to give 0 stars I would. You can never get a hold of anyone. The door in our bedroom has not worked since we moved in, it does not close or lock. It has been infested with roaches since the day we moved in. We have a new born baby and it is very dangerous and disgusting. We have gotten it treated two times already, and nothing has helped. In order to get rid of the roaches the entire building needs to be done, but that looks like it will never happen. It is disgusting and no one should ever rent from them. read more

This property management is the worst that I've ever seen. On the 7th of September 2021. I stumbled on their website where they posted some pretty nice apartments for rent. I loved two and submitted applications with everything they requested with $35 dollars each for better chance at getting approved for one at the least. Nobody emailed, nobody texted, nobody called and after sometime someone name Julio emailed me and was very unprofessional saying they had rented it out to someone else I had to ask Julio which of the apartment he was talking about and what about the other one. I submitted another application for another apartment since the 17th. Nobody's answering my calls, Julio is not responding to my emails. And these fraudsters refuse to refund me my $105 since it wasn't proceed because they went with somebody else. This business needs to be brought down and fined for fraud.
