The main room as you walk in has some furniture but largely lighting fixtures, dishwashers, stoves, refrigerators, thanks, assorted Hardware much of it new, and interior doors. The second, smaller room in the back room has largely exterior doors and storm doors, more furniture, including office chairs, file cabinets, headboards and footboards. Things here are very reasonably priced and I was able to find almost all the fixtures for my mother's house, all of which were under $5 (except for two chandeliers $10/ea). They have tested all the major appliances and will only sell those that work. I used to sell major appliances. Always look for the plaque starting model & serial number. It's usually on the back or inside on the door on stoves, on the inside of the refrigerator on the left. From the model number and serial number you can search or call the company and ask what the date of manufacture was. Frequently, refrigerators have the date of manufacture right on the plaque inside. Also, ask if it's on recall or has had any problems reported. If you buy a major appliance, you can arrange for your own delivery, or have it delivered for $25, but only in the city of Rochester. And they will only drop it at your door, not enter your house. While it does need a bit of polish organization, there's so many bargains here and this organization does so much good for the community, that it's easy to overlook the haphazard displays. The people are very nice and helpful, except for one cashier who looks very bored and is curt. They need to get more shopping carts. Often the workers use what few shopping carts are there for working in the back. It makes shopping (i.e. ceramic tiles) very difficult. If you want a truly no frills, bottom rung of the ladder shopping experience saving you a lot of money, this is the place to go.

I already got hired at three different jobs which I'm going to work all three cuz I'm a beast like that. 2 part times and a full time. At least 2 of them I'm taking for sure. but I want my back pay. Don't ever work for Isiah Bingham or his dad or that lumber yard they suck! After 10 months of all the overtime I worked in extra work I put in when no one else did And I couldn't even get a single dollar raise or even over any sick days or vacation. If there ever was a company that operated not by the books it's them. I swear I don't even think they have a book to go by. Either that or they lie on all their paperwork. And they should be safety audited. I got injured pretty much everyday because of unsafe working conditions and poor training. They treat their employees like crap and the other employees treat each other like crap and swear and yell and are completely unprofessional. I worked hard. Meanwhile, the lead on the truss table is always on his phone gets to take however many paid days off He wants and takes as long of breaks as he wants without any repercussions. He does not lead and he does not train or answer questions from his co-workers, just greets them with disrespect and arrogance. I voiced my concerns on safety and the mistreatment of each other there and was only met with confrontation and my supervisor even put his fists up and threatened me and told me to shut my mouth. They just wing it everyday. Lousy.

This huge store that has everything for your home remodel: flooring, carpeting and padding, sinks, faucets, hardware, doors and storm doors, vanities, toilets, shower doors, and more. The most valuable things here are the employees. They're great! They're knowledgeable and helpful without being intrusive. The best one here in my opinion, is Jess. There's nothing I've asked that she didn't know the answer to. She used to own a flooring business, so that's a strong area, but she is very knowledgeable about everything. Jess also pointed out another valuable benefit here: the wall by the exit which has business cards of contractors. Jess also mentioned a few that frequently do business with them. It wasn't, however, an endorsement of the quality of their work necessarily, rather who's a frequent customer/contractor, and seems to be professional and nice. Another reason I love shopping here is their free Project Planning and Design service. This has saved me money, time, frustration and been very informative... and fun. As you enter, the first room has kitchen flooring, sinks, faucets and some hardware (to the left) as well as everything for your bathroom (to the right). The Project Planning and Design Center is in the middle. The larger adjacent room, has doors, countertops, more flooring, carpeting and padding, doormats etc. Everything is neat, well stocked, and labeled. And the employees are never too busy putting out or straightening stock to help a customer. That alone is worth the trip here, since customer service is a dying art. There's free parking in the large, private parking lot, and they will be happy to take things out and load your car. This is on the main drag on Empire Boulevard, conveniently next to Tim Hortons. You can celebrate the savings on your remodel...just saying.

Jim Gardner recommended by Morse Sash and Door, arrived on October 28, 2025, to install our new door. He and his family members who accompanied him were pleasant to work with. We sent Jim a brief text thanking him for a pleasant experience. We didn't know at the time of our "thank-you" the problems that lay ahead of us! We wrote to Morse a report of installation defects. Our concerns were listed along with what we would consider Success Criteria for a completed and professional installation of our new door. PERFECTION! We have notified the local NYS Attorney General's office of our situation! We are also discussing attorney involvement! We were looking forward to a door that was easier to open and didn't have drafts pouring in each day. I'm afraid there were important steps in the installation process that were amiss. The plastic dust box and the security strike weren't even installed as well! The air infiltration is also going to account for a substantial addition to our RG&E bill since we have had air coming in since October 28 for a total thus far of 102 days! Would this be something you would want for your own home? Our expenses incurred thus far for our new door are as follows: Door and hardware $5523.99; Painting (inside and outside) and any wood needing replacement $1664.10; Installation $1720.00; Old door removal $200.00. Our total is $9108.09 for all activity associated with our new door. And, we STILL have a door that's difficult to work with, and we STILL have drafts coming in! We are now awaiting for a part that is due this month - but NO DATE GIVEN FOR ARRIVAL OR INSTALL OF THE NEW PART! A BRAND NEW DOOR NEEDING REPAIRS ON IT! SHAMEFUL!!! We are now in the THIRD severe cold event for our area. The temp when we got up this morning was 2 degrees. The high today is 4 degrees. The wind chill is -18 degrees today and expected to stay that way all day! Still have the cardboard and the shrink wrap in place on the front door! Have sent videos to Morse and Attorney General's office showing the movement of the shrink wrap on the door!!! This is the worst place in the world to ever do business with! Caveat Emptor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was working on a project for my living room with built ins. I required shelves and countertops…read morefor cabinets that were a unique size and I wanted good quality wood. I reached out to a few lumber stores and decided to go with Morse. The sales guy was very nice and came out to my house to measure (even though the lumber was still too long and had to be cut down by me). The lumber was delayed several times being delivered, which not a huge deal. Since it was delayed being delivered it took me awhile to get around to staining them. I was out of town for several weeks (sometimes you're just busy!). While I was waiting to stain the wood, they were laid on cardboard and covered by blankets in my garage. Well protected from any damage. By the time I got around to staining them, I noticed a few of the shelves were damaged. They had marks in them that were clearly visible. And the wood used for the shelves was a lower quality than what they used for the counters (and they were supposed to be the same). So I reached out to the sales guy who was very nice when we met previously. However I didn't get a response and had to reach out 3 times to hear anything back. After a few weeks of the initial communication he came over to look at the damage (I had provided photos as well). However at this point I had already completed the staining due to it taking forever to hear back (and if you have ever done this, it takes forever). I didn't want to have to start over again, so the salesman and I agreed they would just credit me for the damage. A week goes by again and I don't hear anything, so I reach out (again no response). Finally the operations manager calls me (left a message since I couldn't answer at the time). At this point I am not even mad, but here is where they get the one star review. I had to call the operations manager back 3 times before I could get him to answer (even left messages with no call back). When I finally talked to him he was not very nice and blamed all the damage on me. He literally said that since it had been so long I probably damaged it myself or had someone come over and damage it for me. I get that it had been awhile, but again the delivery was delayed and I couldn't get the sales guy to respond. The operations manager was just rude and provided a terrible end to this experience.
