The office team also followed up promptly and let me know they offer tankless water-heater descaling and flushing, with clear upfront pricing. After contacting three other companies that would not quote pricing without a dispatch or diagnostic fee, I appreciated Lincoln's transparency. Jorge checked the vent from outside the house, explaining what he was seeing as he cleared out whatever he could find. Since that didn't fix the dryer issue, the dryer company sent out a (pretty lazy) service person, who took a brief look and said it was still the vent. Jorge offered to come back and take another look, even going down in the crawl space to disassemble and reassemble the dryer vent to see what else he could find. Nothing. It's actually the dryer that has a wonky sensor--thanks to Jorge's genial hard work, we now know this definitively. Thanks guys. Highly recommend this pleasant and professional service team, and will work with them again.

The representative also informed me that regardless of the hourly rate, that would be the minimum cost to fix the unit. Only one of the two components was actually defective. The component took less than an hour to replace and was $42. I personally feel that this company was trying to take advantage of me and severely overcharge me. We had both of our HVAC systems replaced by Torres Heating and Air Conditioning. Being an electronics design engineer, the wife says I over-analyze everything. I contacted 4 different companies to come out and quote replacement. One company (known to be really expensive), wanted to oversize the system and even said my thermostats should be replaced. I knew that was nuts. A couple others didn't notice that one of the HVACs was already mismatched with the duct sizes by the home builder. In the past if our AC failed, I would usually fix it myself, but too old for that anymore. No way I would attempt to replace an HVAC. That requires specialized knowledge and equipment. Fast forward to Allan Torres. He took a close look at our systems, gave great advice, a really fair quote, and the brand I wanted; better than others. I don't always go with the best quotes. Often you get what you pay for. Allan impressed me with his knowledge and common sense. He never tried to up-sell us on higher systems and in fact advised against a more expensive system for one of the HVACs. And as I knew, our existing Nest thermostats were just fine and didn't need replaced. His crew very efficiently and expertly replaced the older systems with great care and attention to detail. They were courteous and respectful of our property. It's also a tough job working in the attic. I would take a photo of the heaters, yet too dark in the attic. I did not get the impression any corners were cut. The systems look and work great. The final installation is fabulous even by my critical engineering standards. Lastly, the wife says Allan is a calm, easy-going guy to work with. I agree. Our opinion is when you need heating and AC repairs or replacement at a good price, this company should be your go-to place.

In my opinion everyone should get on his surveillance program where he comes out changes out your filters and assesses the HVAC system and so you at least have a heads up when you need repairs or change out the whole system. At least this way you can save up and plan ahead instead of waiting for a disaster to occur. Give him a call. I'm so glad I met him and he's there to be the go to guy to tackle any HVAC issues. The fact that I took the time out to write this review should give you some sense of how much I appreciate his level of service.

I mentioned to Chris that something went awry after we tried to secure the cover of the Nest thermostat (it was loose from the wall). The AC had worked before but after doing something with the cover, the AC stopped working. Chris quickly found the problem (a fuse had blown out). Chris was very professional, gave me some ideas on a Honeywell thermostat (we're not BIG fans of the new NEST thermostat), showed me how to read the error codes on our furnace (watch the number of red light flashes and compare it to the brochure left with the furnace). It was easy, peasy, even someone like me who has no HVAC experience could do this. I can't thank Chris enough for his great personality, true professionalism, answered my questions, taught me a few things (learning something new is always good) and even loved on my 2 labs (turns out we both love animals).
