Sal and his helpers have carefully moved my pianos, stoves and one time a complete kitchen. I have recommended them to friends and they were similarly happy with the service and the cost, which has always been reasonable. With HS it now feels like I'm getting friends to help when I need to move stuff. Hired help is often disappointing these days. It's nice to be able to highly recommend someone.

I ordered online and told them that the junk that was needed to be removed was renovation debris…read moresuch as old laminate flooring and baseboards. They arrived on time but only brought two dollies with them. It would have taken at least 30 trips down 17 floors to remove everything. I told them to come back the next day with proper tools to do the job. The next day they brought a bin with them but it was too large for the elevator. Back to the shop in Coquitlam for a smaller bin. Even with all of the inconvenience to me, they still charged full price of over $600. The guys were polite and all, but this company has to provide them with the tools to do the job efficiently.

My family had this franchise company called JUSTJUNK remove some furnitures and garbage out of…read moretheir home to discard. They did not want to offer any quote prior to coming over for the appointment because they said, they have to see exactly the quantity of the items. Unfortunately, my family agreed. When they got there (I was there), they quoted that a full load on a 15footer truck is Can$597.00 and for the garbage, it is only a third of the full price. We immediately thought it was very steep since it only cost us Can$450 on the regular mover who did an excellent job. Since we were running out of time, we agreed to it. They said that the furnitures have to be done first so they can donate them to Goodwill. After being gone for about one hour, they came back with the same load saying they cannot donate to goodwill. BTW, the furnitures were in excellent condition and I have pictures to prove it. Now, because they came back, they want the same furniture load counted as a separate load making the total cost for disposal of both the furnitures and some other junk to Can$1,393.00. Ridiculous, right? We were getting ready to just have them unload the furnitures from their truck and do them ourselves. Finally, they agreed to Can$820.00. We still thought we were being played by those two guys. So, I strongly advise to try another company than this piece of junk, JUSTJUNK in SURREY, BC. Page 1 of 1

I've been taking shirts and uncomplicated…read moreclothes here for the past few years, and they've always done a decent job (though not cheap like my normal Burnaby drycleaner). I needed a white trench coat (yes, I know, white is dumb, but it's Tahari), and a red crepe silk dress cleaned. I've taken both to my Burnaby drycleaner with no issue before. The white coat just needed a quick clean as there were no stains (just usage). I asked them to sew on one of the buttons on the coat. Now, these are irreplaceable buttons, and I actually put it in a little baggy and TIED it to the coat. Made sure that all the other buttons were there. Came back a week later when they didn't call, and found that not only had they not sewed on the button, they had lost it. And the belt (for a belted trench coat!) was missing, though they found it after I had point out that i didn't have everything (good thing I check!). The worst was that they lost a wrist-cuff button in the cleaning process! Their response was that it wasn't there to begin with. They eventually found the button i asked to be sewed on, but the wrist one is gone. I've since heard from more than a few of my colleagues about horror stories there such as a ruined white silk dress my friend was planning on wearing to her wedding. The crepe dress was fine, but the white coat came out with minor stains from the cleaning solution. I will not be taking any more of my fine garments to this place, as there was no attempt at saving my business after a poor job was done.
