This daycare is simply: awesome…read more All the staff in this daycare work incredibly hard to provide a high-quality program.  They have an in-house chef that prepares a wide variety of meals & snacks accounting for dietary needs & allergies - I am so envious that I wish they would have a takeout option for the parents. There is a multi-cultural parade of dishes like Filipino Chicken Adobo, Mac & Cheese, Tomato Tortilla Quesadillas, Hot Beef Sandwich and Cream of Mushroom Soup - AND - that's all from the same weekly menu! Teachers & teaching assistants here are very understanding and patient - we had a difficult transition at the very beginning and the team has created an engaging & challenging environment that has allowed my kid to blossom. The Director of the school is highly responsive to any questions and very passionate about empowering her team to deliver a solid program.   At pick-up, teachers will communicate summarized updates verbally and with the daily reports they provide in the Tadpoles app there's lots of cute action shots and useful information about how much they ate and what they learned. My paediatrician laughs when I open the Tadpoles app during appointments to give her detailed info on what my child has eaten and diaper details. The variety of toys & activities is also excellent here to keep little hands occupied and growing their skills. There's a lot of creative tools to draw with, a gross-motor skills corner, teacher-led felt story times and little musical instruments.  There's also cool little things like: on Terry Fox Day, the school painstakingly cut out printed little medals to award and affix on to shirts. With COVID-19 precautions in place, there is a lot of additional cleaning taking place (e.g. wiping down tables, spraying outdoor areas clean, masks and gloves) and organized drop-off procedures as families cannot enter the facility. There's a prototype site daycare in the same area so from a fees perspective this daycare may be out of reach for many.  I'd recommend looking into the BC Affordable Child Care Benefit to see if your family qualifies for a reduction in fees.  My overall opinion is that you definitely get what you pay for:  a safe, well-maintained facility, knowledgeable & kind staff, lots of communication and delicious food.  All of this has enabled a warm and nurturing environment where my child has grown and thrived.

We chose this daycare based on Google reviews, school environment and services they provided. Sadly, it didn't not work out and had to pull out our child after two and half month because we lost confidence in management and service they took away. 1. Google Review- It's fascinating that this location received all positive review in the last few weeks given all the changes within the school while their Langley location received mostly negative reviews. It's run by the same group. 2. The environment within the school is great. The JK1 classroom is clean and bright. PLEASE do be careful with uneven surfaces outside of the school. Few children tripped and busted their head including mine. 3. Service: WatchMeGrow is no longer available and Tadpoles daily report is not always accurate. Firstly, my child started on Nov 1st 2022. The JK1 classroom has extreme high teacher/aid turnover rate during the 2nd half of DEC and 1st half of Jan. We pulled our child out after that. There were no prior announcement or introduction when a new teacher join the class. Parents and children arrives to class with big surprise. Regarding to the turnover-management stated "unfortunately some changes are inevitable and out of our hands". Secondly, the management team decided to raise tuition and charge an additional $150 per month for WatchMeGrow (before it was included in the tuition/ service contract we signed) the week before winter break. They expects parents to accept the new contract term with minimum notice. Parents like us who did not accept the new term were not given any options but to terminate and were penalized (we chose to terminate their service). They held our deposit which was just unethical business practice. Under the original contract, we're fully understand that we will have to give a two month notice for service termination, but I strongly believed this would not apply because the school changed the service contact on us (raised tuition and took away service). We chose this school because they offered camera service (WatchMeGrow). WatchMeGrow was a great app because we can check on our child. We use it to compare with their Tadpoles daily report because it's not always accurate. Sometime the tadpoles daily report would say our child slept for an hour and half but we can see on camera that he did not sleep. Even worst we will receive his daily report when he was absent from school. Finally, I hope our experience can benefit other parents that may be considering this location. My main goal is to express our frustration towards management and the amount of stress my wife went through to pull our child out and find a new school. I do hope the management team will see this review and do the right thing by refunding our deposit. This review is not about the money. We are fortunate enough with what we have and bless with our health child. Any money we recoup will be donated to BC'S Children Hospital Foundation. A donation receipt will be upload if it happens.

Mrs. Athina took the time to guide him not only academically--with early arithmetic--but also with important life skills like sharing, independence, and responsibility. Through her support, Giuliano built confidence and strong foundational skills that I am still grateful for today.
