There are 2 rooms (1-3 year olds) and (3-5 year olds), an indoor gym on the top floor, an outdoor playground and lots of outdoor space to play (fields, forest and lovely walking trails). My son loves Dinosaur Daycare and I know that he feels loved and secure while there. It's a bonus that he is also learning and developing as much as he is, but in a caring environment like that, it makes complete sense. I cannot recommend Dinosaur Daycare enough.

I love Betty's daycare! My son has been going there for two years and I just love it. (My daughter…read morerecently graduated to kindergarten and I loved it for her too). Her structured and organized environment has given him room to grow, learn independence and make friends. It's so great that her daycare is zero tv time but the kids don't miss it! She has circle time, free play and regularly takes them out - to the park, strong start program, gym and even the library. Her huge landscaped backyard is amazing in the summer, with shaded areas to play, and the kids even learn gardening watching her plants grow. I was referred to Betty by a close friend who, like my husband and I do now, came to rely on her as a partner in the upbringing of our children. We talk about my son's day and have worked through some major milestones together - i.e. potty training! - by making sure we were both on the same page in terms of timing, support, etc. She taught my daughter and now my son, independence and leadership, in particular by asking them to set an example for the younger children. Her communication at the end of the day is great, again to stay on the same page, and she also keeps a log book of the day's events. She keeps her yard and the daycare incredibly clean. I could go on, but most meaningful to me is that our kids have grown to love her and we get to watch them thrive in a supportive, healthy, clean, and safe environment. I am so grateful that we have her!

The staff cared so much so that they each felt like family to us. The staff in the infant program have amazing eye for details and made sure we had a full report on their day at pick up. They were just as excited about major milestones as us and were happy to share tips on what works/didn't work with our children. The staff at the multi age program treated the children like friends and made each child feel special with sweet gesture such as painting pictures of their favorite toys. Both programs are play based but does not mean they do not learn. My children have grown to be very independent and their kindergarten teachers were amazed with what they knew already. The 20th location is extremely convenient. If there is traffic to the bridge, we can take the side streets coming from 8th Ave. There are always plenty of parking right in front so that we don't have to go far or worry about children in the parking lot. We highly recommend PEY!

Then she said they have a drop in option in case they have a cancellation of one of their children. She emailed to me to fill out the documents and the she wanted my confirmation that I got her email. But she doesn't confirm any email that I send to her, she just ignored them. That is not serious, we are talking about taking care a 16 months old baby. She said there was a spot for her, then, the same day she said there is not. Next week she emailed me again that got another cancellation I replied her that Id like to take that spot and please I need the confirmation about the time. She didn't, and I insisted next day and she continued to ignore me. Next day she apologized, because she expected to see me there at that time, and few hours later she lies to me and says she replied me but I didn't get her email. Obviously, there's a chain of emails you can check again in case you don't see it, so don't lie please. After this, I don't trust them anymore, they could lie again about anything.. Unprofessional daycare in my opinion.. :(

From the moment we walked into her classroom, it was clear how much care and dedication she put into creating a nurturing and structured learning environment. Her classroom was always neat, organized, and filled with engaging educational materials, hands-on activities, and books that supported each child's development. There were many children Giuliano's age, and it was so comforting to see how happy and excited they were to be there each day. My son truly enjoyed going and developed a love for learning early on. Mrs. Athina took the time to guide him not only academically--with early arithmetic--but also with important life skills like sharing, independence, and responsibility. Through her support, Giuliano built confidence and strong foundational skills that I am still grateful for today. I am also so proud to see her daughter, Marisa Dritsas, continue this beautiful legacy. Her Montessori classroom is absolutely stunning--bright, clean, and thoughtfully designed with natural materials and child-sized learning spaces that encourage independence and exploration. The outdoor area is just as lovely, giving children space to play, learn, and connect with nature. Marisa is calm, patient, and genuinely caring. She goes above and beyond to support each child's individual needs and learning pace. The Montessori approach is truly reflected in her work--fostering independence, creativity, and confidence in every child. I highly recommend Kensington Montessori to any parent looking for a warm, supportive, and enriching environment for their child's early education.

This daycare is simply: awesome…read more All the staff in this daycare work incredibly hard to provide a high-quality program.  They have an in-house chef that prepares a wide variety of meals & snacks accounting for dietary needs & allergies - I am so envious that I wish they would have a takeout option for the parents. There is a multi-cultural parade of dishes like Filipino Chicken Adobo, Mac & Cheese, Tomato Tortilla Quesadillas, Hot Beef Sandwich and Cream of Mushroom Soup - AND - that's all from the same weekly menu! Teachers & teaching assistants here are very understanding and patient - we had a difficult transition at the very beginning and the team has created an engaging & challenging environment that has allowed my kid to blossom. The Director of the school is highly responsive to any questions and very passionate about empowering her team to deliver a solid program.   At pick-up, teachers will communicate summarized updates verbally and with the daily reports they provide in the Tadpoles app there's lots of cute action shots and useful information about how much they ate and what they learned. My paediatrician laughs when I open the Tadpoles app during appointments to give her detailed info on what my child has eaten and diaper details. The variety of toys & activities is also excellent here to keep little hands occupied and growing their skills. There's a lot of creative tools to draw with, a gross-motor skills corner, teacher-led felt story times and little musical instruments.  There's also cool little things like: on Terry Fox Day, the school painstakingly cut out printed little medals to award and affix on to shirts. With COVID-19 precautions in place, there is a lot of additional cleaning taking place (e.g. wiping down tables, spraying outdoor areas clean, masks and gloves) and organized drop-off procedures as families cannot enter the facility. There's a prototype site daycare in the same area so from a fees perspective this daycare may be out of reach for many.  I'd recommend looking into the BC Affordable Child Care Benefit to see if your family qualifies for a reduction in fees.  My overall opinion is that you definitely get what you pay for:  a safe, well-maintained facility, knowledgeable & kind staff, lots of communication and delicious food.  All of this has enabled a warm and nurturing environment where my child has grown and thrived.

As a parent choosing the right daycare can be stressful. I hope our disappointing experience can…read morebenefit others. This review is solely for JK1. We chose this daycare based on Google reviews, school environment and services they provided. Sadly, it didn't not work out and had to pull out our child after two and half month because we lost confidence in management and service they took away. 1. Google Review- It's fascinating that this location received all positive review in the last few weeks given all the changes within the school while their Langley location received mostly negative reviews. It's run by the same group. 2. The environment within the school is great. The JK1 classroom is clean and bright. PLEASE do be careful with uneven surfaces outside of the school. Few children tripped and busted their head including mine. 3. Service: WatchMeGrow is no longer available and Tadpoles daily report is not always accurate. Firstly, my child started on Nov 1st 2022. The JK1 classroom has extreme high teacher/aid turnover rate during the 2nd half of DEC and 1st half of Jan. We pulled our child out after that. There were no prior announcement or introduction when a new teacher join the class. Parents and children arrives to class with big surprise. Regarding to the turnover-management stated "unfortunately some changes are inevitable and out of our hands". Secondly, the management team decided to raise tuition and charge an additional $150 per month for WatchMeGrow (before it was included in the tuition/ service contract we signed) the week before winter break. They expects parents to accept the new contract term with minimum notice. Parents like us who did not accept the new term were not given any options but to terminate and were penalized (we chose to terminate their service). They held our deposit which was just unethical business practice. Under the original contract, we're fully understand that we will have to give a two month notice for service termination, but I strongly believed this would not apply because the school changed the service contact on us (raised tuition and took away service). We chose this school because they offered camera service (WatchMeGrow). WatchMeGrow was a great app because we can check on our child. We use it to compare with their Tadpoles daily report because it's not always accurate. Sometime the tadpoles daily report would say our child slept for an hour and half but we can see on camera that he did not sleep. Even worst we will receive his daily report when he was absent from school. Finally, I hope our experience can benefit other parents that may be considering this location. My main goal is to express our frustration towards management and the amount of stress my wife went through to pull our child out and find a new school. I do hope the management team will see this review and do the right thing by refunding our deposit. This review is not about the money. We are fortunate enough with what we have and bless with our health child. Any money we recoup will be donated to BC'S Children Hospital Foundation. A donation receipt will be upload if it happens.

Dropping my little girl to school I often worried for her welfare in my absence. However, I made several attempts to communicate my concerns to the teacher and each time I was met with little more than a blank stare. I later learned that my daughter became upset at school one day, inconsolably so, and rather than call me to take the matter in hand, the awful teacher sent her to a corner to cry herself to sleep! I thought this quite abusive, particularly given that my child did not arrive at school in bad humour, nor lacking for sleep, so that was the end of it for me. What a terrible woman, and what an awful introduction to school for my sensitive, intelligent little girl. Changing to another school for the 2011/12 school year, she is flourishing, so parents need to know that the school one chooses must not only be carefully considered, but carefully monitored as well. Never allow a teacher to brush aside your concerns. Ask a lot of questions, and don't leave until you get the answers.Though billing itself as a parent participation preschool, the BFLP is not a member of the Council of Parent Participation Preschools in British Columbia, and it is little wonder indeed.
