For 15 years, in 3 positions I created, I was the state and federal accessibility codes and standards expert for the City of San Francisco.
During those 15 years, I reviewed thousands of projects to determine if they met the state and federal requirements for access for people with disabilities. During those 15 years, I saw many well-designed and built projects, and some that failed, miserably!
Because the siding on our home in Mill Valley was over 25 years old and failing, my wife and I decided to redo the siding with Hardie siding, a concrete board product that is both fire and rot-resistant.
Of course, I contacted a number of companies and requested bids for the project.
Based on all of the information I received, we made the decision to choose RPS Remodeling.
Now that the work is complete, I must say, based on my experience, the work by the RPS Remodeling installation crew was some of the best I've seen. Each of the workers clearly knew their job, and each completed their work, spending a great amount of time to ensure that the project's details were taken care of.
I want to thank Rich James, the owner of RPS Remodeling, and Paul Martinez, the project supervisor for a very well-done Hardie Board siding project. They have exceeding our expectations!
Thanks to Rick and Paul and their amazing project crew! read more
