Man I wish I saw this before hiring Gonzalez Tile & Marble Inc. (CC: 98-BS00259). We were provided…read morea written job proposal for what seemed like a reasonable price. Method of payment terms were "No money up front...half of the job completed, half payment due. Remaining balance due upon completion." Then Adalberto Gonzalez showed up for the job (delayed for some reason), he realized he had incorrectly advised us on the soundproofing that needed to be purchased (costing us $100 in additional materials because of this), and told us - with no notice - he needed new materials. That moment. Though he spent most of his day chatting with our other contractor, he demanded payment and told us a story about his transmission on a truck being broken. We - stupidly - paid him for the soundproofing (which was not 50% of the job, not by any measure). He then disappeared for two weeks. When we finally reached out stating that we had a deadline for completion, he said he couldn't do the job because of our condo building's hours (9-5 were too constricting), though he knew this upfront. We are now more than two weeks delayed, with no flooring provider. Do not trust Adalberto Gonzalez / Gonzalez Tile & Marble, Inc.

First, i asked him to lay the tile horizontally from the entrance. He laid it vertically. Second, i asked him to stagger the tile in thirds to break up the lines. He offset them by a third but repeated the pattern every other row instead of every three rows. The end result was four inch spaced stitching across the floor every 18 inches. Third, i told him there would be cabinets on three of the four walls. There was only one wall that mattered that everyone would see the tile against the wall. Just one. I told him i didn't care about the other three walls, they would be covered with cabinets. He stared at the far wall and ended with the only wall that really mattered. All of the short cut pieces went there. The only wall that mattered ended up being the worst looking wall in the room. Fourth, there was no floor prep. Remnants of glue from the previous floor, dirt, dust from construction, all were covered over with mortar. Fifth, the room is only 12 by 14. Yet there are over half a dozen places where you can feel raised corners and edges from poorly leveled tile through not only your bare feet, but even in shoes. It was a rush job and not done to industry standards in addition to the contractor, the owner, not listening to anything i wanted or doing anything i asked. Would not recommend him to do anything but flips and 100k track homes where poor quality work is the norm. .

June 17, 2026…read more Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Damaged Refrigerator Delivery, Lost Wages, and Unsatisfactory Customer Service To Whom It May Concern, I am writing as a long-time and loyal Lowe's customer to express my extreme disappointment regarding the handling of my recent refrigerator purchase and the unacceptable customer service I have received throughout this process. My case number is 77203133. The refrigerator that was originally scheduled for delivery arrived damaged before it ever reached my home. According to the photographs shown to me by the delivery driver, the damage was clearly visible and significant enough that the appliance should never have left the warehouse. This raises serious concerns about Lowe's quality control procedures and the lack of proper inspection before merchandise is loaded for delivery. As a result of this issue, I have been forced to take two separate days off from work, causing me lost income and considerable inconvenience. Despite this, Lowe's has failed to provide compensation that reasonably reflects the impact this situation has had on me. I spoke with Calvin from the Pompano warehouse regarding a resolution. He initially offered a $170 discount off the purchase price, which I declined. He then increased the offer to $240, which I also declined. I requested $350 in compensation, which I believe was a fair and reasonable amount considering the damaged merchandise, the inconvenience, and my lost wages. Calvin advised me that he spoke with Lowe's management and that my request was denied. I also spoke with Diane in Customer Service, who informed me that compensation could not be discussed until the replacement refrigerator had been delivered. I explained that if Lowe's was unwilling to offer reasonable compensation, it would make more sense to cancel the order immediately rather than require me to take another day off work and risk further inconvenience. Additionally, my experience with Customer Service Representative Armekeem was unacceptable. At approximately 6:20 p.m., I was placed on mute and then on hold for a total of 19 minutes during a call that lasted 33 minutes. Afterward, I was transferred to Supervisor Shannia, who informed me that there was no way to adjust the delivery time and that Lowe's could not accommodate any scheduling changes. What makes this even more frustrating is that at 7:31 p.m. I received an automated phone call confirming that my delivery was scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on June 16. I then received an email at 8:12 p.m. confirming the same delivery window. This suggests that delivery scheduling information was being updated and communicated, contradicting the assertion that no changes could be made. To add insult to injury, on June 16, Customer Service Representative Morgan and Team Lead Don offered me a $50 gift card as compensation for the damaged refrigerator, two days of missed work, the delivery issues, and the poor customer service I experienced. As a loyal Lowe's customer, I found this offer to be inadequate and dismissive of the inconvenience, frustration, and financial impact this situation has caused. I have been a loyal customer of Lowe's for many years and expected a higher standard of service and accountability. Instead, I have encountered damaged merchandise, inconsistent communication, excessive hold times, inflexible scheduling, and compensation offers that do not adequately address the losses I have incurred. I respectfully request that Lowe's review this matter thoroughly and provide a fair resolution that reflects the inconvenience, lost wages, and poor customer experience resulting from this incident. I would appreciate a prompt response from a manager or executive customer relations representative authorized to resolve this matter. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Sincerely, Mechelle Finch 305-978-5346 Mechie1@bellsouth.net Case #77203133

OMG... this place has gone down the tubes! My 26-year-old high-end manufacturing business has used…read morethem in the past with success but something has changed over there. We placed an order for $338 worth of custom-cut strips of plastic. We ordered this from them in the past. They were given the exact dimensions to cut in a drawing. The communication this time around was deplorable. There is complete apathy there. Finally, when the order was ready we picked it up. They would not insert into our application because the dimensions were off. They came here to pick them up, only because I asked them to, and then they took an extended period of time to fix them knowing were behind on our deadline thanks to them. They delivered the strips back and we were horrified. They tried to fix them by grinding them down. It was a completely third-world rig. Literally, you saw grind marks all over them. They didn't fit once again. This is a company that is supposed to have machines that can do modern work like CNC and laser cutting. I tried more times than I could remember and have the emails to prove it to get anyone there to accept responsibility and to fix the problem. I left many, many messages for the owner and NOBODY ever called us back. There is a girl that answers the phone, but you cannot get past her. You could tell when talking to her that she felt bad because she was stuck in the middle. We will never do business with this company again after finding ALRO Plastics who delivered a flawless job. I placed a claim with Bank of America and it was denied. I am laughing because they put the effort to send our bank paperwork yet their spineless owner would not call back. What kind of a man is that? I am still shaking my head as to why the bank would deny a claim when I sent them all of the proof of our email correspondence showing they completely ignored us and did not rectify the problem. BOA denied a claim because they provided our bank copies of the invoice and signature that we ordered them... seriously??? This is such the typical service in Miami and why we try to purchase outside of this swamp! Happily, we threw away the useless strips of plastic in the garbage! They beat us for $338 dollars but how much money will they lose when others read this? If they even bother replying, they have no defense because all of our employees are witnesses!!!

In addition a very nice young man by the name of Jonathan Pedroso also went out of his way to ensure that I felt happy with the end results. I will purchase from Faulkner again in the future because of these two amazing young men. Irma Hialeah, FL
