Need oil change- so take vehicle to a local Fast Oil Change/ Brake shop- Oh, hey-vehicle is leaking brake fluid from Very badly rusted brake line. Get estimate-- $2400- as labor is about 14 hours plus parts. Need second opinion- Next well known shop- "seen these problems before- can be as high as $5,000. Wow! Ok, time for third opinion: Tommy Mathewes- We can fix it- about 8 hours of labor. $1600. Well OK. Took only 5 hours of labor and price drops more. Now: Prices may vary as each repair job will be different. Costs shown was for one particular car and one particular problem. Every repair job may and will have different costs. All I am saying is yes it pays to shop around- get different opinions and see which one works best for you. Tommy Mathewes give a good estimate price, and it was actually lower when the job was done. How often does that happen? So, friendly service, on time repair work, and no hassle. Recommend Tommy Mathewes Auto Repair for professional repair on your vehicle.

Dropped my car off ('07 550i) the night before for total front bulb replacements- due to complexity…read moreof job, i wanted all bulbs changed at the same time. While there, i wanted an oil change too. I had an 11am appointment scheduled. They kept my car "all day"and after not hearing from the shop at ~3pm, I called the shop for an update? I was then told at 3pm that my car was "next to be pulled in" (I had an 11am appointment), so to hear that my car was next at "3pm" was a little concerning.....fast forward to 5pm/closing time and I get to the shop to settle up. I pay nearly $800 for bulbs to replaced along with the oil change.....jump in my car to leave and low and behold, the right lamp fault is still there on the dash (why i brought the car in the first place). This is when they tell me as they are closing that the fault wont clear because i need new headlight assemblies for the car?? No one called to give me an update along the way and I get the "we just took your car down off the lift along with we are short a technician" today....excuse. I expressed my dissatisfaction...have brought my car in for service on multiple times...time before being a ~$5k job worth of work. Very discouraging to fork over nearly $800 for bulbs and oil change and get a rushed job at closing and excuses. Don't mind paying for quality work but don't insult a customer's intelligence with guesswork and no communication. Also, was given an "updated" receipt of service after the tech went back an added in the comments why the fault light wouldn't clear and the need for new headlight assemblies. This information was not in the original receipt when I paid for service and was headed out before I caught the fault code still illuminated on the dash.

I've been here before and had great service however less than a year later the service has dropped dramatically. I went to get a level and tires put on and even had an appointment, was told it would be done same day and I even dropped it off first thing in the morning. The end of the day they called and said hey it's not done and we haven't even started can we keep the car. I said yes with them promising me that my truck was first in line. The next day I came in to pick the truck up at the end of the day and guess what.... Truck is still not done. Once I told them this is unprofessional and this is going on 3 days they said hey if you're willing to wait we can have someone finish the alignment. I waited for about a hour after they closed and was told hey sir we drive the truck and everything is good to go and it rides smooth. I took keys drive off and within 5 mins the truck wobbled so bad. I called so I can bring it back that and no answer. I called back the next morning (day 3) told them what was happening and they told me to bring it in. I told them I'm military and currently in class and don't have time to keep running back and forth but I will come during lunch. Got their at lunch and as soon as I walked in and said I had a appointment they said oh sorry sir we meant to call you..... did no one talk to you when you got the vehicle, I said no. He said the tires you have are bad tires. I told him if the tires are bad why did no one say anything to me prior to putting the tires on???? He had no answer so now they want me to buy new tires.... Keep in mind that I got these tires off of my other truck so I know they're good. Truck and Moore said that they mechanic had notes that I was supposed to be brief on. When I asked for the notes the clerk walk to get them took them all the way across the room scratch something out and gave me the notes. On the notes it clearly says convince customer to buy new tires she try to scratch it out however you could still see it. I got my last truck done with them and paid a little over 6 for a level and install, tires put on and balance, alignment, and a oil change. This time I bought my own level kit and had tires put on (smaller than last time) and alignment that's it and they tried to charge me 1100 even after o called ahead and was told the price would be around 450. After I told them that that's when then were like oh we're sorry and took off l"a few hundred. Don't go to this company

They quoted me at $170 even after bringing my own products. And when I asked why they are changing that much for labor, they said "European cars are just harder to work on". When in reality, I've changed the oil in this car myself plenty of times and the only difficulty is needing the machine to reset the service light. Just called and got a quote from another shop saying they will charge $80-90 for labor if I bring my own products. So where is the extra $100 dollars for labor coming from with this company? Don't waste your time and don't get scammed.
