It's a sick time. Helpful chaps running the establishment! Would recommend driving around in these carts

It was a fun time! I was surprised at home fast the karts went. Good interesting track.

Great race track with amazing and friendly staff. My kids had a great time! Cars are top notch and arcade is fun read more

RPM Raceway - RPM - Go Karts Near Me - Syracuse, New York

Pricey but fun $25 a race with a $3 fee for the headsock but you get to keep that for "next time" Had to wait a bit for the race but once we got going it was fast fun. loved trying to beat the other racers lap times. I love raised the track compared to when this was pole position but not a fan of the full face headsock/fee at pole position back in the day before it became RPM, they gave you a headsock as part of the cost of racing and they washed them. The pricing should be all included I feel. read more

This is my husband's favorite thing to do when we're at the mall! It's great because I get to shop and then he gets to do something that he likes so we both get to have fun. read more

Had a lot of fun. The staff was very helpful explaining the rules. The pricing was affordable as well. Definitely recommend

Always a lot of fun. We love to come with family and friends. Helpful staff. Check out the week day specials too!

Great vibes nice service amazing experience great customer support and service rides were amazing and fast paced

There is a reason this gets 2.5 stars (or less now). It's expensive and the experience is substandard and not worth the money. First I paid for three tickets for three people. Was told it was $25 per race only to find out after I ran my credit card that they charged $3 per head sock which they neglected to mention. No big deal but failure to disclose was annoying. Then when you are waiting around (over hour and wasn't that busy) the woman who was organizing everyone to get ready never uses her microphone and it is very loud there. Hard to hear her and she wonders why no one responds. They say wait to call your name and then shout out a number. What's the number for? Oh it's in your receipt that you stuffed in your pocket. But by far the worst is that when you pay $25 I expect a full race experience. They cars went about half speed for nearly the entire race. We were half way through and I was thinking this was boring before they finally kicked off full power but not once did we get around one complete track without getting slowed down. It was a complete joke. To add to the frustration you are at half speed going around a corner when they decide to kick off full power and you go much faster than you were expecting so you were always anticipating this jerk of speed unexpectedly. You had no control. My two older boys had the same frustrations and poor experience as I did. We'd never go there again. Oh and if you look at pricing online don't expect to buy a three race deal with the discount for three people. They won't let you split the purchase across multiple drivers. It's a huge money grab that has no interest in repeat customers and relies on passersby that might rave once or get three race tickets and be forced to go three because of their no refund policy. No refund is a red flag!!! Skip it and find a real track. read more

Great time friendly staff really had a fun time highly recommend you and your friends will have a blast

We had such a great time tranee is amazing and such a good employee and was helpful the whole time !

They shorted my kids token credits by 50%. Spoke to a guy who claimed to be the manager. Kindly told me to eff off, even when I promised a bad review and credit card fraud. Will never step foot in this place again! I technically paid $80 for this review. Wutta ripoff! read more

They took our money for my son who was old enough (7). Then took him back and measured him and he wasn't tall enough. They did not measure until getting him ready for the car. He was devastated. They then told us they don't do refunds even though this was their fault (we were never even told there was a height requirement). We got store credit for "when he's older" despite being from out of town. I was told a refund takes 2-3 weeks and to start the process I had to email the GM who wasn't on site at 2 PM on a Saturday. It makes absolutely no sense why he wasn't measured before we paid. read more

We rented the track and paid up front and essentially it felt like a scam as half of our group did not go. Other groups went ahead of us. Very poorly managed. read more

Good track & staff. They know what they are doing. Would be greater if the track can be bigger & wider

Very fun and well managed. They have 2 speeds for race cars. Kids had a great time!

It was fun, though the employees could be more attentive. When we were on the tracks, the dude with the flags wasn't paying attention so we had a lot of players tailgating each other since he didn't flag according to their "safety video". I waved at him a few times with no response or reaction lol. Overall fun time I would come back and for $25 a person, not that bad. BUT please install lockers or something becuz having our belongings out in the open near the entrance without a lock is anxiety inducing read more

the track was new and fun the employ's were great my favorite part was that diddy oiled the track nice for us racers

We "rented the whole place," showed up 20 minutes before our first race was scheduled, and they claimed we were late and over booked, causing us to have a massive delay and many other people were there, and we didn't get half of what we payed for. We will never book another event here. read more

I had fun racing but I'm 10 years old so I could not drive the big karts. I was too big for the junior karts

I am from Buffalo New York and I visited the location in Syracuse while visiting Destiny USA . We were told there would be about an hour wait because there were 10 groups ahead of us . We came back 45 minutes later and a new employee (the general manager ) told us there were now 14 groups ahead of us and it would another 2 hour wait and that whoever told us the original time frame was wrong . We explained we were out and town and needed to leave in the next hour to take care of my friends dog , however she showed no interest in our situation. I looked on Yelp once I got home , and this is a very common problem. (People are being told they are one number in the queue and they end up being another and hours later ) . At almost $18 for an approximate 7 minute ride , I believe the customer service should be of higher quality and they should disclose more information about the process and wait times , especially when not offering refunds when you are told the wrong information . I know wait times are approximate , but this was an extreme difference , and since there was only 2 of us adults , I would think the general manager would try to rectify the situation instead of seeming unapologetic and disinterested . Unacceptable, do not recommend! read more

Horrible experience. We tried to reserve for our team and they were so unorganized and we were waiting for around three hours before we left since we got told we would get to start in less than an hour until it turned into 3. Never again. read more

Our family of 12 waited 6 hours to race when we were told the wait time would be less than 2 hours. Not worth the wait for drive time of less than 5 minutes read more

Want to say thank you to the manger Mary. She was very supportive to the individual I work with. We didn't knew the cost for membership. Thank you for your understanding and kindness! read more

awesome staff great raceway nice track very nice people all together they got games arcade and drinks

bought races, was very understanding about the stated one hour wait. returned after an hour only to find out due to "human error" our race would not start for another two hours, no refund establishment, even when they make a mistake. do not recommend if you are on ANY type of timeframe read more

The service could 100% improve, and the race was ok the only fun I had was winning. The guy that checked me for seatbelt said I cannot touch and it was very loose and I fastened it just a little bit because that's how I thought I was gonna race. Then the very nice lady fastened it and I felt secure. The same lady doing flags could've been paying a little more attention because I kept getting bumped right in front of her, and the safety video clearly said no bumping. The front desk said I was in next race and I waited 3 races. Races before me it looked like employees were treating them horribly. Screaming at the people that did nothing. Also the people behind me bumping me didn't get slowed down I got slowed down and kept getting bumped and I never got the blue with orange striped flag. Service could improve big time. The mall was fun though not this. read more

Absolutely no accomodations for a teenager with special needs. My daughter left her wallet in a locker, staff called and said they have it, my daughter explain that she does not drive, and she lives an hour away, the Manager Rudely said No she has to pick it up, I'm her Mother and I had to take off from work, there was 5 hundred missing from the wallet and I'm VERY UPSET. read more

Karts are fast! And the flag guy I had was pretty relaxed. Still made sure everyone behaved appropriately and passed when required, but not much slowing of karts or stopping of race. I've had bad experiences where they take it too seriously. Overall it was tons of fun, if only two of the people during my race would've gone faster! read more

RPM Raceway was an addition to the expansion of the mall when it became Destiny years ago, but was originally known as Pole Position. After a current rebranding process in the last year according to the management. A lot of people are confused as to if they are even there anymore. But a indoor go kart track in the city is a fantastic thing I've been meaning to try for a while. The cars themselves are an electric Italian designed vehicle that reminded me a lot of a formula car by the sounds they made as they ripped around the track. I've driven gas powered go karts in the past and they were always a lot of fun but handle completely different than these do and it took me a few passes to get used to how they braked and accelerated through corners. I know I'll be back to improve on my time. Because by the time I really was able to drop the hammer down I'd already burned through about 10 laps and my time was almost up. I'll be much more comfortable next time. Plus after an accident 10 years ago on a ATV I haven't raced anything or driven fast in a while. But man this was some stress relief that really gets the adrenaline flowing. One thing I like as well is how much safety is thought about here. The cars are highly maintained being torn down once a month and rebuilt to make sure they are safe and they give you helmets and five point harnesses in the cars as well as people that are running controls on the side to make sure no one gets hurt and everyone has a high energy good time. The staff and management are wonderful friendly and caring. The way the races work you are really racing against yourself not against anyone else. There can be others on the track but they have a computer system that saves your best lap times and you are trying to beat those. So if you're passed by another racer. You don't really take it personally. All in all. My visit here today was a fantastic experience and something I plan to do now a few times a year to get some adrenaline out. Bravo RPM. I hope you stick around a long time. We need more entertainment like you in Syracuse. read more

So a lot of you may not realize, but Pole Position Raceway didn't close at the mall. They rebranded and are now RPM Raceway. I can tell you that there is only good news in this review, as it is still so fun to go there. My family was visiting from out of town and were looking for things to do on a cold winter's day and so we took them here. The reason we were able to do this is that this entire track is indoors! Don't let that worry you though! The tracks are huge, there are no stinky smells, and safety is their number one priority! One of the things I love about this place, is that the races are still competitive without sacrificing safety. It's not about who finishes the race first, it's about who has the best track completion time. This is a great way to make sure someone doesn't drive like a maniac, but also maintaining that racing vibe. They also have 3 different age brackets so that you can bring children, teens, or adults! Pricing is fair for the amount of time your on the track, but they also have memberships for those hardcore racers. I highly recommend coming here ASAP! read more

This was definitely an exhilarating thing to do!! Those little karts really can move! (as long as the other drivers stay out of your way and let you pass). If you're looking for a fun, competitive thing to do, go! This is the former Pole Position, just with a name change - plus added laps! I like that they extended the amount of laps that you are allowed to race. It was really the perfect amount of time - not too long, not too short. You get 14 laps and I think that they said the track was 1/4 mile. You start by signing a waiver and entering your info. You then watch a safety video and are given the run down by the staff. They explain the flags, how to operate the karts, basic safety info. You get your helmets - they give you a head sock to use, for sanitary purposes, get in, buckle up and get out there to kick butt! LOL In looking at the price board, it appears that if you plan to go more than twice, the annual membership is worth while. This is definitely a fun outing. Plus they do offer lower speed karts from younger kids, so don't think that you can't bring your younger kids too! I think it was 7 and up. read more

Got told we had 6 races till ares where ready so we left and plaid some arcade games. Came back after an hour so we were expecting to be ready to get on. They added 5 races before us. Wouldn't go here read more

Tonight our family went to RPM raceway syracuse ny, they are NOT autism spectrum disorder (ASD), FRIENDLY!! A family outing that started with encouragement and interacting socially turned out in a pointing, laughing phones out humiliating moment for us! As a business I would expect RPM Raceway to encourage everyone to enjoy their Raceway instead a young employee walked away from his register to pull out his phone when my brother crashed. Instead of owning up to the situation when confronted told the manager who backed this young man that we simply made the situation up. And would not refund us what so ever.Nor were we even given an apology for what had happen. Yet made us feel like we can't even go out as a family and do normal high function activities.. Very poor customer service read more

If I could give zero stars I would. After we purchased our races we were told 60 min wait. After 2 hours we tried to talk to Mgr but she was very unpleasant and said no refunds and it wasn't her fault because she can't predict how long the wait was. After a 3 hr wait we raced. If we didn't spend so much money we would have walked away. Total waste of time and ruined our day. We will never do this again. read more

At point of sale I was given the impression by the person selling the ticket that it would be 30-60 min wait. I founf out later that I was 6 rides doen at 15 min a piece. Waited 2 hrs still no ride. Apparently a birthday group came in late. Very dissappointed. After explaining the situation management refused to give refund. It was either continue to wait or miss my movie. It could have been a fun afternoon. Just know if you go you will end up waiting waaay longer than expected. Very dissappointed at the inflexibility of the management on duty. read more
