I had a hot water issue, and that was the hot water tank was not working. We can all agree no hot…read morewater is a serious issue. I spoke with Alex on the phone; he guided me through an attempt to cajole the thermocouple to start pumping out a serious flame instead of hoping the pilot light will be enough to heat 40 gallons. However, nothing changed, and the pilot light remained lonely and unaffected. Alex came by this morning to give me an estimate on a new tank; while here he turned the knob from the vacation setting to hot -- as I had done countless times -- and to my surprise the tank turned on. I'm convinced Alex has some magical touch. There was some positive mojo going on between the two of them, and the tank came to life. I want to express my gratitude to Alex for transferring his magical touch -- mojo -- to my hot water tank. I also appreciate his fair estimate for a new tank in the future, and finally being such a professional gentleman. I will be using him as my "go-to" in the desert going forward.. It was a positive experience for both me and my hot water tank, and I'm sure it's the tank that's thanking Alex too.

I went onto the website on Sunday and booked an appointment for Monday afternoon. We were expecting the technician to show up between 3-6 p.m., but were thrilled when Christian called to ask if he could stop by a couple of hours earlier. He was very courteous and knowledgeable, and quickly diagnosed the unit and had cool air flowing again within about 30 minutes. He offered several service options, provided his opinions, and let me make my decisions without pressure. I was thrilled with NexGen when they installed the system seven years ago and am just as happy with their ongoing service of the system!

Do yourself a favor and keep looking for a different company. Got a quote for some work to be done…read more Guys showed up and said 75% of it didn't need to be replaced, even though one fitting was clearly leaking. Fine, so they fixed 3 of the 10 items listed on the quote and it took an hour and 45 mins. With two people. Two angle stops and a shortened drain. My contractor shows up and asked all the questions you'd expect and says I overpaid and still need another plumber to come back and fix it all. Gave me a new plumber to contact, (who has 30 years experience in the valley)he came over and fixed everything in less than an hour and put together our vanity plumbing for free. Just to be nice. His price was fair and still less than my updated price from these guys. I had to call Randal's multiple times to get someone on the phone to explain why this happened. Excuses. Spend your hard earned money with a company that is straight forward and won't gouge unsuspecting customers.

But every morning I make eggs for my Standard Poodle, and apparently I've been sending the shells down the garbage disposal for years. As it turns out: egg shells + grease + time = a very expensive science experiment. Eric and Luis from USA Drain and Plumbing Works came to the rescue. They explained that our drains needed a full cleaning after years of buildup from oil and my "oops" egg shell habit. They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and never once made me feel silly for not knowing that egg shells don't belong in the disposal. What impressed me most was their respect for our home. They wore paper shoe covers while walking on our carpet--a small touch that speaks volumes. Excellent service, great communication, and now both my drains and I are much wiser. The poodle is still getting his eggs, but the egg shells are officially retired from plumbing duty. Highly recommend Eric, Luis, and USA Drain and Plumbing Works!
