From telling me 3 times that my son's registered truck was NOT in the name I gave her to not allowing me to be told how much money I needed to bring in order for us to get his truck out of Grays tow yard. All this could have been avoided if she had offered me even a ballpark figure of amount of cash to get our truck out of Grays Tow. This is a family owned business run by Greg and his wife Andrea. It is hard to find, but is worth it. I made an appt. and from just driving up (just making it) he said fuel injectors. He put his meter on the truck and showed me the firing and how some of the injectors were not working. He said the right bank needed replacement. Since I tow an RV, I opted to get both banks done. He quoted me a price and had the work done as promised after the parts came in. Greg and Andrea are excellent people to work with and honest. I would not hesitate to recommend them in a flash. They repair diesel as well as gas engines. They are not the high end repair shop and their building is nothing special, no bells and whistles, but good honest repair and service. I had given this company a 5 star review but let me tell you why it changed…read more I took a van in and it needed new struts. They replaced the struts and after the struts were replaced the front end started popping. I took it back 4 times and they told me to just drive it 500 to a 1000 miles to let the parts settle in. Now after the parts have "settled" in the popping is worse. Today they said the only way they would warranty out the struts, that totaled $3200 and included new tires, they would have to change the ball jounts for another $850. You would think that with all this front end work they would have seen this issue before replacing the struts or one of the other 4 times I had it in for the popping noise.

Towing my car without an Havelock Police dept traffic ticket. On the night of 13 Oct. 2018 My wife…read moreand I went to Havelock, NC to visit a popular Halloween attraction called the Nightmare Factory. We it was after dark so we along with approximately 10 other vehicles parked our cars in a normal fashion next to the curb on Park Lane. Little did we know that when we got done with our trip through the fun house we would discover that our car had been towed. The tow truck companies owner was on site and said (intially) that Havelock Police Dept. directed him to tow all 11 cars that had been towed, but I would find out that it was not HPD that told him to do this but a Deacon from the church on the same road. So apparently anyone in havelock can call and have your legally parked car towed. So I am not taking this sitting down I plan to sue this company for taking my car without police telling him to do it. I would never use a towing service that takes orders from anyone but the police to remove a legally parked car. This just sounds illegal to me-If I could give zero stars I would.
