Go see the review left on the Facebook page you're not going to want to do business here. He told…read moreme 2 days it turned into 2 years. Substantiating documents are attached take your time out to read them. Also the 69 mustang he had turned out to be a 67 mustang I don't know how you mix the two up. He blocked my phone number and Facebook from the page. Even as he lied to my wife about my vehicle being painted. I haven't seen any sense of nobility or righteousness from this guy but he prides his business on "HELPING" military members. Update: He has deleted/ deactivated the Facebook page and unblocked my number. Then proceeded to threaten me because other clients want to know what's going on and more of them are upset. Update March 1st 2020: After receiving threats from a Joe Furniss on Feb 28th Tom sent me a additional 12k invoice adding on to the 40k on a vehicle that isn't done yet meaning 52k . I sincerely believe he's running up number so he can keep my vehicle on a debt collect. Update March 14th: Tom says some alarming choice words to me about shutting my damn mouth and my career. He also refuses to stop working on my vehicle. However he finally got around to painting my vehicle. While the paint is well beyond great it doesn't do it any justice. Because my problem has always been about his ethics and greed pushing my car off allow people to jump ahead of my restoration. After going through all the threats and being disrespected it's just not worth the trouble. At the end of the day I'm not sure what this guy's problem is. Wish I could say more. *2 images added*

9/2/2020 I've been going back and forth on leaving this…read morereview on Crystal Coast Custom Cars Shop that worked on our cars. But after learning he's jerking 2 other Marines around. (Actually worked with me at Intel Bn, how unlucky can he be that we met by mistake) I have no choice. I have too many screenshots to post, can't post as many as id like. I would not recommend Crystal Coast Custom Cars, and Tom Cairo to anyone looking to have a vehicle restored this will be lengthy but will give you the context of the dishonestly, unethical, and unprofessional actions taken by Tom during the 19 months of hell trying to complete my vehicle. In January of 2019 my wife Amanda and I decided to have our 1968 Chevelle and 1964 Falcon restored. After researching businesses we found Tom and decided to give his business a shot as they were local and that would allow regular visits to check on progress etc. My father always taught me to be an extremely cautious individual with people, so I ensured I did everything right (So I thought). We had several meetings with Tom, and he looked over both cars for approximately an hour once he was complete he needed some time to work up the invoices as expected. We did however asked to do a walkthrough of his shop which we completed. Tom likes to talk about all the work he has, and all the jobs he has lined up which gave me a few concerns. I followed up with some questions. How do you keep up with all the work? He stated he has a team of retired Marines that comes in to assist. How long will our restorations take? He replied 8 months and how cool it would be for his first double reveal for 2 cars. How soon with they be started? He stated in two weeks after we sign the contract. Mind you, none of these were honest answers which we found out later. We signed the contracts after liking the answers he provided, and the walk through of his shop. Tom picked our vehicles up on or about February 14, 2019. I want to say it was sometime in March Tom told us he bought a new shop, and was moving out to Havelock (Also a lie, which we found out later). In July 5 months after picking up the vehicles, we were kind of fortunate he didn't honor his word on when he would start the vehicles as he allowed us to swap out the unstarted ford falcon with a near complete dodge challenger. A BIG FAVOR TO US, AND IM AWARE HE DIDN'T HAVE TO DO THIS. We went to deliver this vehicle to his shop to find out he was no longer there. Sometime between March and July he moved shops once again, without communicating or letting us know where our vehicles would be. In September of 2019 a hurricane was coming through and he posted pictures of the vehicles on Facebook, and photos proved that at this time 7 months after picking them up, and 1 month from the date he provided neither vehicle was started. In October of 2019 I shared a photo from another shop on Facebook that upset Tom. It was a shop located in NC, and I complimented how fast and how great there work was. He messaged me with threats he wasn't going to work on our vehicles, and how we kicked him in the nuts basically by doing that. I voiced my grievance s with the timeline and said give me my cars back and my money as I don't appreciate the threats. He refused and said he will finish them as we discussed. From this point forward I definitely stayed in regular contact and interest in the timeline. Lots of arguments were had as he continued to Miss timelines, showed no progress on cars, but continued to ask for payments on work he wasn't completing. I got to the point where I stated no more money will be paid until the car is complete. The following year was nothing but hell. He continued to give deadlines that he would miss. He always asked for more money which luckily we signed a do not exceed contract not allowing him to ask for more. He threatened us with a lawyer stating that a do not exceed contract does not mean our agreed upon price could not be raised. I spoke with lawyers also and he backpedaled asking not to involve lawyers. He called us names, he was rude, he was nasty all because we were upset that the 2 things we told him we were concerned with he did not honor which was timeline and the budget. He threatened to call base legal on me, which I said please do so. I'll give you the number, all I am is an unhappy customer. I broke no laws and paid all invoices. In the end we got both cars back with shoddy work and stolen parts. Save yourself so heartache and spend your money with a better and professional shop.

When I picked up my car, I noticed the "check engine" light was on, and the "hood ajar" light was on, so I went back in and asked Floyd why these lights were on since they were not on previously, and he said just bring it back some time, and he will fix it. I took it back two days ago for them to fix these two lights and to let them know the hood seems to shake and move when I am driving at any speed over 40 MPH, and they said they would fix that too. I went back to get my car yesterday, and not only did they not fix the two warning lights that stay on constantly and told me I would just have to live with that, and they did not fix the hood, and now my A/C magically no longer works. I noticed hot air blowing out of my A/C when I first started my car. I saw they had the MAX/AC on, but hot air was coming out. I go back into his filthy shop and tell him my A/C is blowing hot air out and ask him, "What did you do to my car?" He said, "We didn't do anything; it must be a coincidence!" I said, "No, my car's A/C worked perfectly when I dropped it off and you need to fix whatever you have done," so he had two of his workers start looking at fuses and working under my hood. I waited for three hours as they messed with my car and they did not fix anything and said they would take it to Family Tire the next morning and get them to look at it. Well, they never took it anywhere and basically told me, tough luck! What Floyd doesn't know is I took pictures of his son and the other "workman" messing with my car. My son was with me when both of them admitted, "Yep, it was working when you brought it in," and I'm a law student! I had Floyd write on an estimate sheet what he did to my car and I have the original invoice showing I paid him over $4000 to repair my car, and now, I think it's time to go to small claims court. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS DUMP!
