Everything was great with this doctor and his practice until one month from my post op appointment…read more Dr. Roye repaired my umbilical hernia. He had a great bedside manner and after surgery he informed me and my family that everything had went smooth and I was good to go. Dr. Roye repeated that statement to me at my follow up appointment. He said it went great and I was healing good and no need to come back unless I had a concern. Great! Fast forward to one month after this appointment when I get a call saying I owe another $300 for the surgery I had over a month ago. Let me assure you, they will not perform this surgery until it's paid in full. I have no insurance and paid $9,000 out of my pocket to have this done. I was blown away at this additional charge and asked why!?? The girl on the phone says well it says here that he had to do additional work during your surgery. It was strangulated. Why was this never brought up to me or my family until now? No answer. A strangulated hernia can be very serious and you mean to tell me Dr. Roye didn't think it necessary to tell me? This is absolutely unacceptable. They will never see another dime from me even though they've already reported me to a collection agency.

My friend referred me to this place. I had my share of doctor visits in the past from many different offices prior to moving Texas (Some of them were well known doctors in US) I have never had a doctor who are so attentive and detailed especially for the Physical Check up. From examining my medicine and vitamin intake to X ray of heart and my bad knee, EKG, Blood work, etc. I am truly impressed. The whole staff was nice and friendly as well. If you don't mind the small town clinic and maybe a little drive from the city, I definitely think he is worth it.
