Dr. Mairura did my left knee in mid March 2024 and it went so well I had the other done in early June 2024. He and his entire staff at both the practice office and at the surgical center were absolutely superb on both occasions. Dr. Mairura guided me from early visits through the surgery with an amazing amount of care and concern to provide the information I needed to make an informed decision and then complete information about the surgery and what to expect afterward. On a scale of 0 to 10 for pain after surgery I was at a 0 or 1 for BOTH knees the day of and after surgery. Dr. Mairura is THE consummate professional with thousands of surgeries behind him as well as being a phenomenal person, a calming presence that reassures you in every way that you have chosen the best of the best. The first two surgeries were basically flat foot reconstruction surgery and the last one was to take out a plate that was bothering me from my first surgery. When coming here you have to interact with Ms BIANCA. She is one of the front desk clerks who is amazing! She greets you by name when you walk in! I love how she's very personable. I never know how she remembers all these patient names. But yes outstanding customer service. I love her! Next up is Ms. CATHY who takes you back and gets your vitals. She is always nice and makes sure she listens to any concerns you have. She always seems to be in a great mood and you can really see she cares about her job and her patients. Next comes my surgeon, DR. BHAKTA. Now when I first met Dr Bhakta it was very quick. He was not very personable or great at listening to ME. I believe this was because he had serviced my dad brother grandpa you name it. i think he believed he knew that I needed surgery. He was not so great at being patient and listening was not there. I felt like he held my life in his hands my surgeries did not go as planned and I feel my life has been forever changed. Words cannot express how this process has been for me. Let's move on to one of his assistants Ms AMBER in my experience she was the absolute worse. She took out my stitches for my first surgery and was not gentle. She made remarks about how many incisions I had saying "wow he sure cut you up like meat" and continued to laugh at my pain while taking my stitches out. She never offered to console me or stop she thought my pain was hilarious. I noticed one of my incisions were not healed and bleeding and when I brought it to her attention she brushed it off and put a cast on me which later turned into a infection. highly do not recommend her for anything. The only reason I feel she was nicer taking out my stitches from this last surgery was because she wanted a good review. She was kind this go around and even offered to help put on my boot which she has never done in the past. Quite frankly I feel she acts as if she doesn't want to touch you sometimes. I just don't recommend her at all! Moving on to therapy Dr. STEVEN is AMAZING!! He is very personable offers very genuine advice and listens to all your concerns. He answers every concern and question you have thoroughly and knowledgeable. Last but not least My good sus Ms. SHAY I love her. I owe all my recovery to her. There was days I truly wanted to give up and just not push through all of this but she not only encouraged me but pushed me to do and be my best! She is truly a gem. She was very relatable understanding and answered all my concerns professionally and when she didn't know she always got the answer for me. I didn't know that therapy was a key part of this process until she came into my life and I'm truly grateful for her. Overall some of the front desk ladies could get a little more training in professionalism and being more genuine when dealing with patients concerning payments or scheduled appointments. I work in customer service myself I know it can be frustrating but I pride myself in making sure every customer has a great experience. I would not recommend this place! I am still currently in excruciating pain every single day since my surgeries!!

I suspect many of the positive reviews here were generated the same way - patients who are vulnerable, hopeful, and simply grateful to have been seen. Those reviews do not reflect the ongoing experience of patients with complex needs who depend on this practice for consistent and reliable care. My experience tells a very different story. Communication at this practice is virtually nonexistent. There is no patient portal or app. The only option is a fractured third party phone system that rushes you off the call and does not route urgent concerns to anyone who can help. Over the course of three months I recorded zero returned calls despite repeated attempts. When I persistently requested an email address after being unable to reach anyone by phone I was met with resistance and hesitation. Once I finally obtained an email address every message I sent went completely unanswered. On my first visit the physician entered the room on his phone, spoke for approximately two minutes, did not review my full medical history, and never made eye contact with me. For a patient with a complex chronic condition requiring careful consideration this was not only dismissive but clinically irresponsible. On a subsequent visit he refused to communicate with me directly and conducted the entire interaction through his medical assistant, never speaking to me himself. My time at this practice was further marked by repeated medication lapses due to administrative failures that caused me direct and documented harm. Rather than receiving care and support I was met with indifference. On one visit I was seen by a medical assistant acting in the capacity of a provider with no licensed physician or nurse practitioner present and received no appropriate medical attention. I was subjected to coercive tactics regarding procedures I had not consented to and felt pressured to agree to treatments in order to continue receiving my medications. When I declined I experienced a notable shift in how I was treated. When I requested my medical records I was met with resistance and significant delays making it extremely difficult to transition my care and provide other providers with the documentation they needed to treat me appropriately. To make matters worse my Explanation of Benefits documentation shows that this practice owes me a refund due to an overpayment. Despite multiple attempts to contact them to resolve this financial matter I have received no callback and no acknowledgment. The same communication failures that affected my medical care have now extended to a financial matter they are obligated to resolve. The cumulative impact of this experience on my health has been significant and measurable. The administrative failures and lack of appropriate care caused me direct harm that affected my overall health and quality of life. The stress of managing these failures on top of a serious chronic illness compounded my suffering unnecessarily. I felt so excited to see the results. It has been years since I got a pedicure! She asked me if I wanted my toe nails polished but I did not bring any polish. So, I made my next appointment for 2 months. Yolanda is very professional and has years of experience. She informed Dr. Brandy of a soft spot on my heal and the doctor ordered me an ointment to apply. Everything was so relaxing and I felt like I was cared for really well.
