I've been a patient with Dr. Amir Khan (Pulmonology) and David Mason (Thoracic Surgeon) since 2012…read more I initially began seeing Dr. Khan in an effort to manage my Tracheal Stenosis. Over time, my respiratory health continued to de line and he referred me to a Thoracic Surgeon for further treatment. Over the past few years, I have had several Broncoscopes with balloon dilation. This year, I was forced to make the hard decision to install a permanent tracheostomy. My trach has increased my quality of life ten-fold. I am able to truly live again and not be tied down at home on continuous oxygen therapy. As a matter of fact, on January 12, 2020 my family and I will board the Carnival Freedom for a seven day Caribbean Cruise to the Bahamas. I have recieved 9 years of continued and excellent care from Dr. Khan and the staff at Pulmonics Plus. #myStoryContinues #trachLife #trachPride

I couldn't understand her so an American employee told me what the foreigner was asking. Why couldn't the American ask the repetitive questions? Later that night I got a sleep study but got cold. I had not been correctly told how to get their attention if there was a problem. I was so restless that one attendant came in to see what was wrong and gave me another blanket. She said if I needed help I should slip the pulseometer off my finger. Finally, I knew the secret. Earlier I was told to shout but that did not work. I am sorry I ever heard of this place. Now I have 2 more appointments to attend and I am worried what will happen. Maybe I should bail out.

I…read morehave suffered from Crohn's/ulcerative colitis, Epstein bar virus, severe anxiety, weight gain, and side effects from prescription medicine, to mention a few. Basically, I felt like crap. I am a very religious person and kept thinking I would get better with prayer and Bible study, but I now know that sometimes we need to place people in our lives who are trained to help us. That is what I did. My full bloodwork panel showed several areas of concern. I knew that I had to get healthy and was determined to give this my all. I phased out foods that were causing me horrible problems. I got off nasty "big pharma" and on healthy supplements. I have dropped weight without trying. I don't wake up with headaches each morning. I have more energy and feel so much better. My anxiety has dropped tremendously. I am a happier, healthier person. I will stick with what I have learned. In a nearby town, a team did their best to put my "shattered" leg back together again (to include plates, screws, etc). Five days later I got to fly back home to Texas. In all the hubbub and agony, no one got with my Texas PP so I had no physical therapy set up. That's how I found out about Aaron Evans. This guy is amazing. He spent so much time going over surgeon notes, talking to me and learning how to get my leg/knee/ribs/body back together again. Better yet, he's extremely knowledgeable and caring. We even talked nutrition, functional movement and I left feeling both physically better and with more hope. I wish I could give more than 5 stars.
