Dr Minor would not prescribe anything for pain instead I got a steroid hip injection that did not help! had to see Lonestar ortho for my back pain to get pain meds. The worst thing I experienced was them filing my insurance incorrectly. I had to call Medicare and BCBS and coordinate benefits myself then after BCBS paid the bill TOA were claiming I still owe them $1035 and would not schedule my surgery! I offered to do a 3 way call with their billing office to verify it's been paid and that they need to contact the local BCBS office. TOA didn't have it posted and until it is TOA will not do my extremely painful hip replacement surgery. It's been 2 weeks that the bill has been paid and not one phone call from them! I decided to go to Lonestar Ortho in Burleson and they scheduled my surgery a week later. Lonestar was going to schedule it July 17th but I stressed to them my pain level and issues with TOA so they scheduled me July 3rd. The only reason I went back to TOA was because I had a great experience with Dr Papaliodis for my shoulder replacement 3 yrs ago. However their office will blow up your phone with text and calls constantly about paperwork, and confirming. etc. They even text you at 7:00 a.m about things. It's a lot! Furthermore if you need MRI"s or treatment they only do it at Baylor Scott & White in Arlington on Highland. I will never go there again if that is the only place the doctors at Arlington Orthopedics can send patients to. If I thought that Arlington Orthopedics was bad about blowing up up your phone, Baylor is a thousand times worse especially when it comes to getting their money before your procedure! I received multiple calls and text from multiple people there daily wanting their money. We were waiting for our insurance to process claims from another procedure somewhere else where our deductible could be seen by Baylor. Still the day before my procedure they sent another text saying they have to have my payment tomorrow in all caps! What business does this? Even on the day of we had to sit in the business office and hash all this over again and again which made things very stressful before having a procedure. Lastly out of 2 visits there, I have only encountered one nice person. No one there cares about anything except getting your money. My advice is to think long and hard about Arlington Orthopedics if you think you may need an actual procedure and then you better have your money ready and your ducks in a row. Baylor Scott & White is very aggressive in getting their money. That's all that matters to them.

I finally got a second opinion and when the doctor looked at the graft he informed me that it was dead and sent me to a wound care specialist. I could have possibly have lost my foot if I continued seeing him. Find a good doctor that is recommended by a credible doctor. Beware!

I went to Dr. Woodly for a painful plantar wart on the sole of my right foot which my primary care…read morephysician had diagnosed a few months earlier. To my surprise, Dr. Woodly said I did not have a plantar wart. He told me it was just a callus and I should use a pumice stone on it and cushion it with mole skin. He asked me if I wanted him to shave a bit off and I foolishly agreed - "foolishly" because his "treatment" did nothing and cost me around $70 because my insurance didn't cover it. I knew in my gut Dr. Woodly's diagnosis was wrong. My regular doctor agreed, and sent me to a specialist in dermatology who confirmed the original diagnosis and removed the wart by "burning" it off. Next time I'll listen to my gut!

The pain I was in didn't seem to matter to them, or the staff which were always very dismissive and downright rude. I took a chance on visiting Dr. Woodlly's office, and for the first time my pain has decreased without any additional medication, and he made my custom orthotic inserts right in his office the very same day His staff is warm, friendly and very empathetic to your condition. I'm so happy that I found them. They have helped change my quality of life so very much.

If you need surgery you're a priority but after that, get in line. While some aspects of the practice are as good as they were 5-7 years, others have significantly eroded . Scheduling and communication are two of the biggest negative changes - not sure why, actually, just based on recent experience with a surgeon's medical assistant and surgery scheduler. Our experience included not receiving return phone calls when promised, not honoring commitments to appointments as discussed, and these are things that we as patients can evaluate - as opposed to how great the surgery was.

Next issue was addressed by Dr Even. He has a great group, can't speak highly enough about both Dr Even and his PA Ambrosia. Amazing team. Couple years and I'm back with a hip replacement. Once again, Dr Seroyer does an outstanding job. Back on my feet in 2 weeks. Another 2 years roll by and again I need to see Dr Even. Had to have another fusion and they found a small cyst in L3. After recuperating I was good as new. My latest adventure was another spine issue and Dr Even and his team were just as professional as they were the other 2 times. Still recuperating from the last one. Over my 10 years experience, The Surgery skills and desire to get you up and going again are the best there is. As with all offices, changes have been made and sadly not all for the better. Thankfully, the team of Dr Even and Ambrosia are still intact and I would call them again tomorrow if my back needs work. If my other knee and hip need work, Dr Seroyer will get the call. There are issues getting to see the Drs due to schedules and as such, appointments are given to the doctors PA. Thank goodness Dr Even has an excellent PA with Ambrosia. Never worry about visit with them. They are the Best Drs around. That's the reason the PROs use Dr Meister, Dr Seroyer and Dr Even and I fully understand wht.

To be generous, perhaps they do not have the expertise to diagnose psoriatic arthritis, but bringing records of my history were ignored. Career-related, have had cortisone injections many times. This residual pain will not go away because it is now nerve damage. Have found good care elsewhere and now seeing a Reumatologist for psoriatic arthritis.. medication should help and my new Orthopedist has prescribed p/t stressing surgery will make this worse and not better. "Don't let anyone suggest surgery." In requesting records, the TxH&K doctor did call back and he is sorry. No suggestion of p/t and I do not take prescription pain killers. For colder days have used a cane or a walker sporatically. Hoping I am not totally dependent on walking aids moving forward. Additional X-rays at my current Orthopedist indicate both knees are the same in terms of moderate arthritis.. clearly nerve damage to my left knee.. Whether their staff has medical training I do not know.

He got his stitches removed, and they didn't give us any trouble. I just assume the first time, maybe I got a lady that was newer, or didn't know the priorities of Delara. Everyone is new at jobs at some point after all, or perhaps they were having a bad day. I just know eventually they wanted to make things right to prove they are better than I first made them out to be. I generally feel they want to try to prove they can be good about things, and I just happened to get a bad representative that day. As the one who contacted me were very nice and considerate about our situation and the things going on. Thank you for fixing the situation and making yourselves look better when given the chance. Most places would just ignore the problem and continue on like nothing happened. At least they tried to make things better, so I give them that.
