They did a nice job lacing out to small pines. They were efficient, had good communication showed up on time, and cleaned up nicely.

Terry immediately met with us in person, understood our frustration & developed a plan for our backyard that was within our budget. He included a gorgeous waterfall & pond that will be home to a few goldfish. Also an elevated flagstone patio with a firepit that gives us a gorgeous view we didn't have previously & more. Every step of the way Terry communicated with us what the team planned to accomplish that day. They all worked long hours, efficiently and always cleaned at the end of the day. Did it take a while? Yes it did but that's not unusual for large, custom projects. Terry was also extremely kind and flexible when we made changes along the way. Carlynn was a great help choosing plants, very knowledgeable & she also put together a plan for our front yard. She's very bright & capable & we liked her suggestions. We absolutely love our yard & look forward to seeing the plants fully grown. Now that the work is over, we miss seeing all of them!!

True Landscape did a really great job of making some lovely improvements to our yard! Our yard was…read morea complete mess before they came (with really hard uncomfortable small pebbles, hard dirt along the sides of the house, and wood chips in large spaces making it all kind of unusable). We had about 4 other landscape companies in the area come out first to give us an estimate on our project (Madrone, Pacific Outdoor, Purlieu, Atkinson) and a few of them actually wanted a pricey "design fee" before they would even give us a full/complete estimate. We already knew the basic idea of our design that we wanted, and so an extra design fee did not make any sense for our project. We ended up choosing True Landscape because their pricing was the most reasonable out of the group! Also, their representative George, seemed really committed to the project. He took measurements when he arrived, talked through a design plan, gave us a location to check out some of the landscape products to choose from, and even followed up the next day with some samples. George was also really easy to work with and scheduled/brought out the crew fairly quickly and the project only took about a week! In terms of the redesign, True Landscape installed new pavers, extended out our grass area, set up the drip water system, built a new planter box, and added large pavers and nice rocks around the sides. We are really happy with how it all turned out and our yard looks much more modern now : ). We have actually been going out every day to enjoy it now (over the past month) when we literally never used our yard before. Thank you!!

!!!!!!!!!! DO NOT HIRE !!!!!!!!! WEST PEAK HOMESCAPES & TRUE…read moreLANDSCAPE DO NOT HIRE! I had true Landscape come out for a quote and was in a communication with a man named Victor. Victor sent over George who gave us a quote and his phone number to be in contact with. We eventually hired George thinking he worked for true Landscape. Overall, My family and I were swindled for over a year. Our contract stated the job would take about a month. They took 13 months to finish in the end! Because the project was going nowhere and we have given money to George, I came in contact with Victor saying he had no idea what I was talking about and George does not work for him. The amount of effort, my family had to put in to get them to finish the job was never worth dealing with this company. They came and left whenever they please on my property with little or no notice. I had my dog staying at different home for months because we had no yard or fence. I had no idea when they would come and had to lock up my dog for hours just for them to never show up. We missed countless family events at our home. I was pregnant when this began and had complications. This whole ordeal was taking a toll emotionally and physically. We live on a giant hill and I was on rest having to trek to my house because I couldn't park in my driveway. Dealing with this issue while pregnant didn't help and I was in the hospital on rest. Please do not ever hire this company true Landscape or West Peak Homescapes, where George claims to work for. Our contract stated both company names. George committed fraud stating he worked for True Landscape and why would Victor send this man to my house if he didn't work for him. These companies are very shady please do not hire them.

No green washing here! Brady's company provides a truly sustainable service. He has helped reduce…read morethe water used for residential irrigation by huge amounts. The average household uses 40 percent of their water to irrigate lawns and landscaping. Using his beautiful landscaping can reduce that amount of water and make for a more diverse yard, attracting birds and butterflies. I have inspected his projects and found them incredibly beautiful. Brady has an in depth knowledge of plants and soils, and how they interact. My own landscaping plans include using Brady for design and install. The plants that i have chosen are not what you normally think of as "drought tolerant" cactus and succulent types. They are diverse and interesting. His plant recommendations will flower throughout the year. I am looking forward to the project.

After 15 years of ownership of a home whose front "yard" looked as if it would welcome beater cars…read moreto park on it, I decided that I needed a garden. I'm possessed of a black thumb, so I decided to hire someone. Because of the drought, not to mention the upkeep, I quickly decided to hire a native specialist. I interviewed a couple from the area, and then Brady from Apiana Native Plants came for his bid. I felt immediately affiliated with Brady; his entire conversation and demeanor suggested that he invited plants for soirees and cocktail hours and discoursed meaningfully with them about life. Before giving him the bid, I hopped on my bike (I was really getting into ecolifestyle now) and inspected some of the gardens on his list, including that of his own home, which of course was nothing short of fantastic. I wrote down and described a couple of the plants I'd seen and then visited his Web site and got a few more from the swell little "page-turning" book. I then gave him the job. Brady finished it in a day (he came back with a plant that he had to order). He told me exactly how much each plant would cost and also gave me the option of having him shlep up the state at a large expense for a giant coreopsis (look it up) or order it online for a considerable amount less (I opted for the latter). He mulched everything and created little oases with decorative pebbles and large rocks for the plants to meditate at and also put in a path with some large footstones that I'd had for when the weed-whackers come in to do the large bushes. He gave me explicit instructions for watering, which are easy to follow--twice monthly, so I'm way under the Long Beach limit! Brady also guarantees all the plants for a month. I am very happy with the garden, and I highly recommend Brady Redman and Apiana Native Landscaping.
