Nick's Tree Service - Eucalyptus after trimming with shaggy bark pulled off - Tree Services Near Me

Nick gave me a great deal on trimming my coral tree. I was out of town so could not evaluate the job as it occurred. Nick said that he was going to supervise his crew. Afterwards he told me that he gave them instructions and then came by at the completion. This is not supervising. He said that his crew did an amazing job. When I got home from vacation, I found a lot of tree litter in the bushes below, 2 broken irrigation emitters, one of the plants that was in the crook of the tree was dead and there were many crossing branches left on the tree. I looked up how to trim a coral tree and found that the goal is not to have branches crossing each other. read more

We just had Nick's crew trim eight of our oak trees and a large palm that was interfering with our neighbor's power line. From his first visit to see the job to the last clean-up of his capable team it's been a pleasure, and our challenging quest to keep our trees in top condition, while maintaining our view, is successful again. The price was fair too, about mid-range in our experience, ant a great value! Quiet (no chain saws! Just some leaf-blowers) and safe (very professional safety gear), they are clearly very knowledgeable about their work. Nick is a certified arborist, and that is a requirement for us. We are restoring the native ecology of our east-facing Mesa hillside lot. The trees are an essential element in that effort. Now we are ready for the spring nesting season that should yield a bounty of the many species of little birds, owls (we've had seven fledge from our special custom (by Me) owl box!) and raptors. We will definitely have his and his crew back again! read more

Nicks tree service was awesome! Needed a very large dead pine tree removed from our business on State Street. It was in a tough location and could have damaged our business or the business next door if the necessary precautions weren't taken when cutting it down. Nick made sure the process was safe and efficient and from the time we first spoke and the same day estimate was given until the tree was removed was only a few days . Great communication and follow up as we are located out of state and needed it handled by a reliable company. Will definitely use them again as should others who want personal and reliable service ! read more

Absolutely the best service in the area - quick response, competitive pricing, excellent execution. I did some good shopping around in the area and while pricing was comparable, the owners did not bother to follow up, which made my decision to hire Nick's company very easy. I will definitely consider them for the future projects. read more

Nick and his team trimmed our tree and did a very nice job on the trimming itself. Nick will take good care of your trees! Great communication - competitive pricing - expert knowledge - genuine caring. I am very happy to have found Nick to work on my massive, beloved liquidambar. His team was on time, skilled, and safe. I liked that Nick is a certified arborist; it gave me an extra layer of confidence when so many tree companies just do quick hack jobs. Plus Nick was the first to come look (really quick!) and the best bid, too. I wish every business instilled such confidence. Nick Gosnell Tree service did an absolutely outstanding job improving my Riviera view, beautifying my oak trees, and making my neighbor very happy at the same time--all at a price significantly lower than bids provided by Branch Out, Giant Beaver, Economy Tree. I'm afraid it's an understatement to say that Nick and his crew beautified my oaks. Nick is an artist, and my finished trees are a testament to his perfectionists attitude--they are gorgeous and have never looked better. I've had numerous tree services work on my oaks many, many times over the 30 years I have lived here; nobody has done a better job. The secret to the success of this company is the amazing owner, Nick Gosnell, a warm, honest, personable arborist who constantly shows that he cares. He's a guy with huge integrity. Servicing trees is in Nick's genes--he's the son of a gifted arborist, and the grandson of an award winning arborist/tree trimmer. I can't say enough good things about Nick and his guys, so I will conclude with this: if you want it done right, done at a great price, and done by somebody who you can trust, like and respect, then look no further. Nick Gosnell Tree Service is the go-to company for you. read more

We've been working with Nick's Tree Service for 5 consecutive years. He and his crew come annually to trim my 5 palms. The trees always look natural and healthy afterwards. Over the years, he has also removed a giant birds of paradise and a row of thick bamboo. His crew is friendly, professional and always do a great job cleaning up the debris. Nick's Tree Service did an excellent job trimming our oak trees to comply with the requirements of our homeowner's insurance company. Nick came right out to bid the job personally and his bid was very reasonable. The work was scheduled promptly. The crew was on time, friendly and professional, worked safely and efficiently and cleaned up everything afterward. One tree we thought just looked ratty actually had an insect issue that Nick recognized, treated and likely saved the tree. We would recommend Nick's Tree Servise without hesitation for any tree work you might need. read more

I absolutely recommend Nick's Tree Service. I quit using an outside service many years ago after another company came in and did a real hack job. I love my trees and it was very upsetting. I went back to doing the work myself and it took me years to get them back into good shape. Now they are truly much too large for me to handle on my own. It was with great trepidation I hired Nick's Tree Service to come in and prune them. They did a fantastic job, respecting the trees and and bringing out their innate beauty. I am truly grateful every time I look out at those trees, and highly recommend them! read more

Nick and his crew did an outstanding job trimming my large oak tree, lemon tree and several other smaller trees and removing a dying loquat tree. They were prompt, courteous, and thorough.
