True Landscape did a really great job of making some lovely improvements to our yard! Our yard was a complete mess before they came (with really hard uncomfortable small pebbles, hard dirt along the sides of the house, and wood chips in large spaces making it all kind of unusable). We had about 4 other landscape companies in the area come out first to give us an estimate on our project (Madrone, Pacific Outdoor, Purlieu, Atkinson) and a few of them actually wanted a pricey "design fee" before they would even give us a full/complete estimate. We already knew the basic idea of our design that we wanted, and so an extra design fee did not make any sense for our project. We ended up choosing True Landscape because their pricing was the most reasonable out of the group! Also, their representative George, seemed really committed to the project. He took measurements when he arrived, talked through a design plan, gave us a location to check out some of the landscape products to choose from, and even followed up the next day with some samples. George was also really easy to work with and scheduled/brought out the crew fairly quickly and the project only took about a week! In terms of the redesign, True Landscape installed new pavers, extended out our grass area, set up the drip water system, built a new planter box, and added large pavers and nice rocks around the sides. We are really happy with how it all turned out and our yard looks much more modern now : ). We have actually been going out every day to enjoy it now (over the past month) when we literally never used our yard before. Thank you!! read more

Victor came out, spent 30 mins and we agreed on the job price and start date. I checked in days before, confirming. Was told they are backed up, we settled on a new date the following week. Then Victor texted the price increased $1500.00 due to supplies. I called suppliers, no prices did not increase. I responded that I can order the supplies. Victor then texted his workers were not available, suggested a new date. Eventually he just ghosted. Best for me because I got the job completed by another company, 2K cheaper than their original bid. And really these guys Pad their estimates 30-50%.. So call a local handyman or Calpoly kid. I needed work done on an old old sprinkler system. Looked on yelp asked for a quote and within a few minutes I got a call from Victor. He came out when it was convenient for me and told me what it might be. Reasonably priced. Replaced a valve but ended up to be the pipes and so quoted a good price to replace front yard sprinkling system. He came out the next week when it was convenient for me again and did the job within a couple of hours. Even came back for an adjustment right away. The work was completed on schedule for the original price quoted. On-time and on-budget. The contract also clearly stated that he would not perform additional work without my approval. Don't assume that everybody works this way. The work took two days to complete, and at the end of day one, the job-site was left very clean, swept down, all tools and materials stacked neatly in one location in the back yard (out of sight).
