This Sunday I held my daughters 6th birthday party here and we had the most AMAZING TIME. Rene and her staff were so helpful and professional and they really take pride in giving little ones the most magical experience! They have thought through all the little details from sparkling cider in fancy glasses, beautiful decor, princess props, a pretty party room and a karaoke machine for after the manicures! I really didn't have to bring much decor as the place is already gorgeous. My daughter and her friends are still talking about the best birthday party ever and all my friends were telling me I did a great job with the party..:: but honestly, Rene did everything!! She even took photos and video and air dropped me everything and later sent me some cute summary videos. I'm so very grateful that I happened to stumble upon this hidden gem and I have a feeling I will be attending a lot more birthday parties to come read more

How am I just now discovering this gem?! Found it when we arrived early for a movie and was blown away by the experience and how kid-friendly it is. The staff were all wonderful and my daughter nearly forgot we were at the mall for a movie, she was having so much fun. The girls are so friendly and welcoming with apple cider for little girls and wine for the mamas. They really give you individual attention and there's no rushing the process so plan on 2:45 time on a full set. Usually salons don't sit us next to each other or even do our nails at the same time but here we were both pampered at the same time. Our monthly Girls Day was a success because of this lovely establishment. Located in the Newpark Mall, Royalty Nails is full of vibrant shades of pink and Disney songs playing overhead. My daughter and niece sang along to every song! They loved it so much, they want their birthday parties held here. (Yes--they do offer party packages!) We didn't have an appointment but they fit us into their schedule with less than a 5 minute wait. This place has an area in the back corner with doll heads to decorate while waiting for a seat. Once their chairs were ready, the technicians put tiaras on their heads and walked them over to choose their nail color. The princess manicure and pedicure (for the younger ones) are decently priced and gel is included. The nail technicians who tended to them were so patient and entertained our girls. They truly felt pampered and seen here. While all of this was going on, my sister and I sat and chatted in the lounge area. The chairs were comfortable while waiting and plenty of space to spread out between the both of us. As we were leaving, this place started to get busier. They do accept walk-ins, but my recommendation is to set an appointment prior to coming in just to be safe. read more

Decided to take my daughter and her cousin for her birthday to get their nails done professionally. Absolutely LOVE this place. The staff is extremely nice and so good with the kids. They offered the girls tiaras, rings, and sparkling "princess juice" in little champagne flutes. I think they really know how to make the kids feel special and the experience was very magical. I am so so grateful I ran into Renee waiting for the elevator at the mall. We chatted a bit about my kids I had with me then I noticed she was wearing the apron for her salon. I said it looked so cute in there and I would have to go to them next time! I had had my nails done the night before for the first time in a year and i hated the color I chose - it looked like I just had dirty nails. She insisted for me to follow her so we went into the salon and she helped me pick a color and fixed my nails right there on the spot! They gave my kids tiaras - and when my son started screaming because he was having a hard time - and I explained he was on the spectrum and doesn't do well with changes of plans - they asked what music he liked and put on Minecraft music in the store. I was very impressed with this Nail shop. My daughter has special needs and is afraid of getting her cuticles cut back. The owner was very patient with her and found ways to take her mind off the process. They sung Disney songs and played guess what movie this song is from. Good for kid manicures. I came here for Russian manicure and the first two times I was serviced the cuticle work was great (though I was nicked every time). I had a different girl each visit. My last visit was with the owner and she is incredibly nice. After we were done, my freshly manicured nails were gorgeous. However a few days later the rubber gel was lifting somehow? And so now my nails are unpresentable and I will not be going back to try and let her fix them. On top of that, she upped the price I paid every time. First time I paid was 55 without tip. 2nd time was 65 without tip. Third time was 75 without tip. And you wanna know what's weird? To book an appointment for this place you need to go to their instagram page and place down a 22.5$ deposit. My first two visits the deposit was accounted with the price I was quoted. So all in all the first time I got my nails done I paid 55 without tip and the down payment was included, and the 2nd time all in all was 65 without tip and the deposit was included. The most recent time I paid 75 ON TOP of the 22.5$ deposit. You know what this means? The manicure I paid for ended up being nearly 100$ without tip. I still tipped of course. But I honestly feel like I've been cheated... and by the owner no less. It's crazy she was hyping up her own work during my session (as she should be because she's been doing nails for 40 years) but the result was that of a rookie... and I only say this because the nails didnt even last 3 days. 3 days=3 stars read more
