They completely redid my crawl space AC ducting, removing my critter-shredded flex duct and replacing it with pristine, sturdy hard-duct--all in just a day and a half.... during a snowstorm! Thanks to their incredible work, my family's heat was restored, and we didn't have to suffer in freezing temperatures. From start to finish, AIRTEK was fast, professional, and incredibly thorough. Leo, the CEO himself, came out to assess the situation and ensure his team could do the most complete job possible and at the best price. They scheduled the work quickly, and from my first phone call to job completion, the entire process took only 2 business days. Not only are these guys skilled and efficient, but they're also genuinely great people--friendly, kind, and even having fun while working in below 25-degree weather under my house. To date, I have trusted their advice to make affordable repairs on my aging unit and help me stay warm and/or cool. When you call for service you can usually get an appointment within a day or two of calling, unless it's an emergency then they can typically squeeze you in faster. The downsize is you might get techs where English is their second language. I don't speak Spanish, but just went with the flow on a recent big repair. I started by assuming they couldn't possibly need anything more from me other pointing to the attic and to the bathroom. I was correct. Howver, it was hard to fully understand how close they were to completing the job then actually learning when they were done. But after giving feedback to the office manager, I have learned improving their English is a priority. So I would still feel comfortable using and recommending AirTek.

These are my people!…read more Cassidy, the service tech that came over to do our semi-annual service was very polite, professional, and knew his stuff. I really appreciated his thoroughness, and also his diligence to keep the house as clean as possible. I say that last point because he had to go in and out of our house like a hundred times and each time he was careful to take his shoe coverings on and off. That kind of diligence means a lot because it shows he pays attention to detail. At the end of the day, our house was given the assurance that everything is good to go for the winter and that's all I needed. Even more important, he wasn't trying to add more fees or unnecessary repairs to the house. Well done!

I had Norfolk Air Htg & Cooling come out for an assessment / quote for some minor work. Turns out…read morethey are insanely expensive compared to some other licensed HVAC companies. $89 just for the site visit, which the tech said could NOT BE APPLIED to their cost of work. Their quotes were ridiculous. $358 to clear 2 condensate lines. $287 to add a condensate drain joist strap. $358 to replace 6 feet of insulated flex duct. All very accessible. Another company came out the next day and INCLUDED in their $99 site visit they cleaned out both condensate lines. Their quote for the remaining work was less than half what Norfolk Air Htg Cooling quoted, and the technician was far more friendly and explained things very well (I'm an engineer in 4 fields). The only positive was that Norfolk Air Htg & Cooling was very responsive -- same-day for a non-emergency. (but the other company was also just as responsive)

After a second failure (different issues) we decided to replace entire system to save stress. They managed to get the old system out and new one installed in 1 day. They said it would be more efficient and OMG! Our sunroom has never kept temp since we bought house 8 years ago. It has kept temp in this heat all but one day when it only jumped 2 degrees. Dalton and Brendan were my technicians and what a great job those two did! Dalton was the lead and could not be more understanding, listen to my issues and was very patient explaining everything that they were doing. My AC is running normally now, I purchased an annual maintenance plan, not only out of an abundance of caution, but because I really like this company, they are everything that I had hoped they would be based on the commercials that I've heard!
