We placed a call to pick up a patron at our business ( we use your service for rides longer than 10 minutes ). After placing the call, the patron was outside waiting when two other cabs arrived to drop off some patrons. By the time your driver showed up , the fare was gone... the driver then told us to eff off !!! and drove away. Look.. yes we called your service.. but we can not and do not control the actions of our patrons. They see a cab , they jump in... we cant tell them its not their cab. Anyway... being told to eff off has left me with a bad experience and I will never call your service again for anyone- even if the patron requests it , I will tell them there are better cab drivers. I simply can not believe that we were told to eff off by a driver- too bad I didnt get the cab number. A complaint will be filed though to the supervisor/ manager... they can look up who it was that was dispatched.

No problems, as they were prompt at the time I needed them. I just called an hour before I needed a pick up. The driver was friendly and had a good chat on the way home. The only reason I didn't give a full 5 stars is that there was some confusion with the payment option. When it came time to pay, I was going to pay by credit card, however, I was informed he didn't have the portable machine. So we had to go back out to a bank by my place so I could withdraw cash. My driver found out later that, yes, could pay by CC, he just had to phone it in to the office. I will give him the benefit of the doubt, as he was new and was probably not made aware of this. I think the business just needs to invest in a couple of portable payment machines like their competition, as this may cause future confusion (the website states you can pay by MC/Visa). If I do use them again, I will just take out cash, as I'm not a fan of giving my credit card over the phone unless I really know the company. Other than that, I had no problem with using them. They charge a flat $40-50 for surrounding Edmonton area, so it cost me $50, compare that to my last cab ride from the same area back home and it cost $70! So more than reasonable price. Now, the other company (Dedicated Designated Drivers) would have cost me about $72 (you can put in your destination on their website to get a quote), but if you are going a shorter distance their minimum charge is only $33. So depending on your distance, you can decide which company you want to go with. Either way, please don't drink and drive and give these guys a call should you drive and then end up drinking.

They get you from point A to point B without causing you any trouble. They do seem to arrive faster than some other ones though but I don't take a cab very often so I am not exactly a good judge of the timing. Do the math and what may seem a tad pricey at first is really no different than taking a cab both ways AND you get the security of knowing your car is safely at home. I've been using them since they began local operation decades ago and took a ride with driver Ben this morning. Even though I had not given their dispatch the amount of notice I normally would, Ben was at the pick-up location before me, he was courteous and polite, and I'd gladly request him by name in the future. Prestige might not be the least expensive option but they have large, clean SUVs (Ben drives a shiny new, black Escalade) , sedans and limos, all operated by dedicated, professional drivers. These are the sort of very knowledgeable, experienced drivers who make you glad you opted for their company. You can expect a flawless trip, every time!
