The employees were friendly and courteous, which is why I'm giving it two stars instead of one. Beyond that, the store looked tired and poorly maintained. Things that should be routine--such as working entrance doors, clean facilities, and employees wearing uniforms that present a professional appearance--simply weren't up to the standard I've come to expect from Sheetz. I also continue to notice inconsistent fuel offerings from one Sheetz location to another. My home store has consistently offered 88 octane for years, while other locations do not. After learning that Sheetz is company-owned rather than franchised, this inconsistency is even more disappointing. When every location operates under the same ownership, customers should be able to expect the same brand standards regardless of which state they're in. I hope Sheetz takes a closer look at maintaining older stores so they reflect the same quality and professionalism found in their newer locations.
