The endless money pit...hiring Royal Staging was the biggest mistake of my real estate career. The decision to book Fameeza was based upon photos on her profile on a website I hired her through in May 2019. Her work was nothing like what was presented there and in fact I ended up re-doing most of the job as what she provided was substandard and did not belong in a million dollar Marin County property. She was lackadaisical about fulfilling her delivery and completion dates. She tried to get more money out of me for an 'extension' though she was 11 days late in completing the job. I didn't want her stuff in the house at the end of 30 days but she would not remove her stuff. I contacted the website I hired her through to file a complaint and ask for my money back. They suggested arbitration and we both agreed we would accept the arbitration decision as final. Meanwhile I hired movers to take her stuff out and place it in storage, at great expense. We engaged in the arbitration process and of course she lost. The Arbitrator asked Fameeza "what have you done to get your items back? To which she gave some mumbled reply that did not convince anyone. Once she was notified that she lost, I contacted her to pick up her stuff from my storage which she did. On that day, July 27, 2019, after she got her stuff, she served me with papers for a small claims suit for $3000! I had already paid her almost $4,000 sorry to say...I had to travel almost 500 miles to go to court to defend myself against the bogus claim. She did not show up. However, the good news was that while at The Hayward Hall of Justice I filed my motion to confirm my Arbitration Award in the court (September 27, 2019.) It has since been confirmed and the judgement against her is now Public Record as of December 5, 2019. That motion and the process server cost me another $75. Though she still has not paid the judgement which came in August 2019, the website that I hired her through has removed her from their site and they told me they will not re-instate her account until she pays me. This review cannot come close to encapsulating the weeks and months of agony dealing with lawyers, court dates and the headaches that come from dealing with someone like this. Note that none of the reviews here show actual pictures of the jobs she has purportedly done. I am showing some photos here of a couple of the things she placed in the property - and the final shot is of her stuff in the storage unit that cost me hundreds. You get the picture - stay away! read more
