I got my car (Infiniti Q50) washed at the new W. 38th street location. The wash cleaned my car very well, but damaged my side view mirror. I was originally told by a staff member that the company would take care of the damages. He took my information down and said that someone from corporate would call me. I went up to the carwash 3-4 more times to find out when someone would call me and I was given an excuse every time. A month later, I received a phone call on a Saturday afternoon stating they were a manager and that the technician said they would not be paying for the damages because there is a sign up stating they don't pay for any damages done to the vehicle. When asked for the corporate number, I was told there isn't one. When I asked for the owners name, I was told they are very private. The a guy in the background stated I could go through my insurance. He then got on the phone and stated he was a manager and that they wouldn't be paying for damages. He then threw out that my car was SIX years old, and that it's been through snow and rain. He also stated he has an old car. When I told that my car isn't old, he then asked if I just got it off the car lot. I told him 2 years ago, I did. I then asked what he meant by that because my car isn't old or tore up and that it's irrelevant to what I'm calling for. He then moved on to tell me to look on Crew's reviews because I told him to look at the reviews with the damages done to the cars because of Royal's Car Wash. He said that stuff happens all the time, and that he has a million dollar machine. I told him damages never occurred at Crew and that he's giving me BS answers regarding my claim. He states I can go through my insurance and when I asked for the owner's info, he says he can't give it out and he says I can use his name, which he gives me. At this point, I was very frustrated as a customer and I got quiet. He says he has work to do and can't stay on the phone. Then hangs up on me. If you choose to go here, good luck! read more

Value is good, but the first and probably only time I ran my car through there it scratched paint off all over the car. I get I own a car older than 10 years but that's never happened at any crew car wash or any other wash I've been to at that. Not going to pursue anything because I've seen people all over talk about how they got whole bumpers ripped off of their cars and they still refused to compensate them. I personally haven't had any damage to my car but my next door neighbor had the top section of the back windshield of her SUV torn off along with the windshield wiper. When she went back to tell them, they told her they wouldn't pay for any damages because her car was too old. They wouldn't tell her who owns the car wash and told her he carries the insurance on his personal account, not the car wash's. My husband and I personally saw a lady pull out of the car wash on Thursday evening with the whole left panel of her rear bumper hanging off and dragging the ground. I had a previous monthly membership with this carwash. It was only $20 something 2 years ago. I like the quality and value of the product. It's convenient for me when I need my car wash because it's nearby. But, the cost of the membership went up and I was hoping I could keep the same rate I had before. Took my Nissan NV to be washed here. During the wash, our mirror was broken and fell to the ground. A worker had to go retrieve the mirror. We had a van full of children that we had to take home and we called the car wash to ask if they would reimburse us for a mirror, they told us to come and submit our report. My husband drove all the way back. The manager asked him to walk over to a sign that says they are not responsible for damages. My husband then ask why they asked him to come file a report and the manager on duty responded that he didn't think my husband would believe him about the sign that was posted. I normally avoid car washes at all costs but my car was so dirty, I had no choice. Car washes have scared me ever since I was a child and I guess I never grew out of it. I can usually handle the ones where you just drive in and park and it moves around you. There used to be 2 in my neighborhood but one closed and the other has been broken for awhile. I have noticed that this location is always really popular so I thought I would stop in. I pulled up and the staff immediately greeted me and helped me select a wash, then guided me into the wash. The staff were wearing masks. I also noticed that they had a separate line for monthly subscribers. The wash got my car 98% clean, but I did only select the $6 wash. They also have free vacuums making it a pretty good value. If you don't get a car wash, the vacuums are $2. read more

I am part of the royal splash text club and love it for coupons and a free birthday wash. This car wash is easy to get into and quick. I would say it is an average car wash for the most part, but the fact that the vacuums are free and don't time out- bonus!! I just wish the vacuums had a bit more suction. I just left the new Royal Splash Car Wash on South Emerson. I had the best package. I had to run my car through 2 x and my rims on my car were still dirty. Also my antenna on my hood was pulled out. I talked to the manager and he said that it was obvious I never wash my car. Then he looked at my vin # and said it was an old car and that is why it is falling apart. I asked him to put my antenna back in and he said I needed to go to a body shop for that. This place is horrible!! They also do not cover your windshield wipers. I had been a devoted Crew Car Wash customer for years until I happened to be in Beech Grove several months ago. On the spur of the moment I decided to get a wash at Royal Splash, and was overwhelmingly pleased with the result. For $13.00 I was greeted by a very courteous staff, given a first-class wash - to include tire shine and free use of their very powerful and effective vacuum cleaners, at no extra charge. One can't nearly get that quality of service at Crew. A comparable wash at Crew runs $17.00, and it doesn't include tire shine or use of their vacuum cleaners. Those are a few bucks extra. I reside in Brownsburg, but have no qualms about the time it takes me and the distance I cover to drive to Royal Splash. For the quality of wash, courteous service and the amenities I get, it's well worth it. read more

Highly unpleasant experience tonight. The gentleman running the vacuum cleaner was very rude when I asked about the difference between the super clean and platinum car washes. It was 10 minutes before closing, and he told me "Ain't no way super clean is happening" instead of a nice "I am so sorry but if you come back tomorrow we could take care of that". I have been going to this particular Rama Carwash and lube for just about all my oil changes over the last 15 years. The last 2 times I have left there after the oil change, the 2 air caps on the passenger side of my car have been missing when I got home. The most recent time, I got the platinum wash and they absolutely did not wipe my leather seats. In addition, upon arriving home, the entire side of my car was covered in tire shine splatter. I want so badly to continue to support the local, small business. I want to love these guys. They just are not putting out the quality service I had grown accustomed to. The car wash was ruining your car they won't refund it when they bill you at different dates of the month. These people are crooks half the time the car was not clean after you get it washed.
