I've come to this location twice only for the express interior service. They do a decent job with vacuuming and wiping down the interior and cleaning the windows (it's not a full detail). The staff are super friendly and quick with the cleaning. The value is about average price for $24. Also, I'd say the wash is better than other locations I've been to where the tracks aren't as smooth going through the wash. I'd recommend the interior service here! read more

The interior cleaning sucks. They are too busy rushing cars through the line to do a decent job cleaning the interior. They are supposed to take out the mats and wash them clean. I took my truck through yesterday and they did not even bother to do that, did not vacuum the back seats, or the armrest in the front. I'm attaching photos that were taken after their cleaning before anyone got I'm the back seat. Sloppy and uncaring work. I was out running errands on a Saturday and was surprised that this location wasn't super busy. Since I'm an unlimited member I decided to pop in and get my car washed. This is one of 2 locations that has the interior cleaning option so I went ahead and tried it out too. Pros: I like the assembly line style of cleaning the inside on the conveyor belt. The staff was super friendly and explained the process. Plenty of signs everywhere to tell you what's going on. Cons: it's an additional $29 monthly fee for unlimited or $24 for one single clean on top of your exterior clean. If you are local to the two areas then maybe you can make sense of both unlimited options. I think I'll stick with my exterior washes and clean the inside myself. It was nice not having to clean though. read more

When this location opened up an Xpress Interior Clean service, I had to give it a try and let you all know what I think. As soon as I came in, a crew member greeted me and explained how the interior services worked. I thought I could go through the cleaning service without a carwash...NOPE! To gain access, you must get a car wash too. I also noticed that ALL of the vacuum stations were gone!! So for a $10 basic wash and cleaning, the total $30.00. There is signage throughout the facility to help you understand the rules. You have to turn off your car and step out of the car for it gets cleaned. All of the cars move along a conveyer belt, and crew members work together to clean them quickly. There is also a station for coffee and water for customers in the waiting area--nice touch for a car wash service. Once my car was cleaned, I hopped the converter belt and drove away. I inspected my car; everything was clean except one of the mats. It looked as if it was just "rinsed" off. Since the self-serve vacuums were gone, I couldn't clean the inside of the car, up to MY standards. Overall, my car was clean, but not sure if I would pay for it again. I have had this membership for a while but do not take advantage of the interior cleaning too often since there's only two locations with that service available otherwise it's only exterior cleaning which is pretty darn good. Recently I went to the one in Avon the wait to get into the interior clean after the exterior wash was only 10 minutes. I have terminated my unlimited wash and interior package I think buying the coupon books will work better for me to use as needed since I don't live close enough for the full service option. This company sucks so bad! I mean, we pay over $20 for a carwash and they cannot even use the wands to prewash the car prior to going through the tunnel!! All they seem to do it grind the salt residue right into the paint of your car. It seems logical that they would at least pretend to do something before potentially damaging your ride. I recd a response from them stating they do not need to do prerinse because the "cleaning cloths" are lubricated. My business is going to Sparkling Image from now on, since I have always had a good experience there. Crew is more convenient, but I would rather not have damage due to their negligence. read more

I realize this is "just a car wash", a chain retail car wash at that. Yet it was an extremely cold day and the guys meeting you outside were having fun with it. I just wanted a basic car wash to get the salt off the car and said I would be back- probably in a few days after the next snow. Mike Express Car wash rocks! The service and staff are always on top of their game. It is best not to hit them during peaks times as they speed the car wash conveyor up to rush you through. If you are not satisfied with the quality of your wash, they will run you through again for FREE. This location is always top notch though. One instance, I was driving a truck that had over sized tires on it and they moved me to a bay for FREE, since I could not drive through the tunnel. Mike's Express sells great car wash packages and I always buy the "6 washes for the price of 4" book or the "unlimited monthly" wash package when it is promoted. read more

We have two MINIs that have unlimited washes (were one of their first customers since they opened in Avon) and they were Mikes Car Wash. Yesterday, an idiot tried to tell us our car was too light and too low and their "new parts" needed to be "worn down" before we came back because it didn't recognize our car! When I inquired about why, I was told that because I used them less frequently they charge more!! You have to use them a lot to keep your price low. That makes no sense to me. First...the car wash decided to eat my rear window wiper blade...that's not usually worthy of a 5 star review. Next, the young lady who went into the car wash itself couldn't find the wiper blade. It's her actions afterwards that really earned my respect (and more importantly a 5 star Yelp review). She told me to just replace the wiper blade and bring her the receipt. Crew has their stuff together. The car always looks good even after the basic wash and the staff is really good about letting you go through again if something didn't come off. Great location! Great staff, lots of lines for an easy flow into the car wash! Even a fast lane for unlimited washes! Well you merge with the lines, but the gate opens itself from the sticker on your car! We are taking advantage of the buy one month get one month unlimited free! We took my Aunt's van and got her the $29 package and the girls were so excited to see our dogs and they love getting the treats! Then we took our car a few hours later and got the $39 package where you pick 2 extra service like wheel bright and under body. You can change these each time if you want, but under body is great to get all that salt from this winter off the car. If you are looking for an unlimited interior /exterior car wash in Avon, stay away from Crew Carwash. This is a place to use when you have no other options. I have had the unlimited memberships for exterior and interior and 8/10 times I had utilized the services was unsatisfactory. I have had to request that it be re-cleaned. The staff is not properly trained and are just able to do to the bare minimum clean. In addition, the memberships price keeps changing without notification. I very rarely drive my truck so it shouldn't take much to clean but somehow they continue to provide a gas station wash. I do not recommend this place unless you are in a bind and be careful of the charges. Not to mention I discover a new scratch every time I get a wash. read more

Mike's kicks some serious dirty car booty! The staff here is ridiculously friendly. They really do have super service! Every time I pull in to the wash lane, the employees ALWAYS greet me with a "welcome to Mike's." They are ALWAYS happy to be working for you and will happily answer any questions you have. I really don't know how they stay so happy when the weather here in Indy is either freezing ass cold or scorching hot. It completely baffles me. Anyhow, they rock. Have taken our cars there even back when it was mikes car wash. Had a horrible event happen to our new car when getting the inside cleaned (had it done several times before without issues) but at this time they used to much water and/or dirty rags. After 2-3 days afterwards our car had a horrible mildew smell. Called the location and took car up there. The manager on duty listened to issue and even smelled the order in car, again it's a new car, and had me fill out a claim. Like most other post from others having issues, crew denies the claim saying it wasn't their fault? They are the only people that cleaned to car! Well to help myself and hopefully others, files a complaint with the BBB and filing a complaint Monday with the attorney general's office. It's a shame people have to do this but company's have to be held accountable with their employees actions and improper training and/or care of others people property. I've spent thousands at Mikes/Crew over 20 years. But back in January, their system scratched my car from front to back on driver side. They said they'd file a claim to take care of it, but instead, I received a letter a couple weeks later that they were denying the claim. I am in a legal battle with them now, with my court hearing this Thursday. Their home office people were shady, baiting me into conversations to try to get me to say something that they can use against me. Anyway, I've switched to Prime for my three cars. read more

If you're looking for a good company to have a membership with for unlimited washes, crews carwash is definitely not the place! Dont get me wrong, the employees are very helpful and understanding but as a company, it is not a place to invest your money in. Currently winter time, and as all companies everyone is salting their roads to prevent accidents. Coming right out of a wash, theres ice all over the exit side and this causes my car to slid and crash into the wall. Mind you, theres 2 other cars in front of me that this exact issue happened to. I go in, speak to the manager, fill out a claim form and the manager tells me that im the third person this has happened to today! Eventually i get an email from their corporate office saying they're not reliable for damages as they cant "control" the weather. I shouldn't expect to come in for a wash and ultimately get into an accident! They denied the claim and i had to call them to get this issue resolved and still wasnt able to get help. I will be canceling my membership and the 5 other people in my family who have it as well. Shouldn't put a dent into the business but i will not be spending my money on this ridiculous enterprise. read more
