My family, including my four fur children, was and continues to be displaced by the Eaton fire. My family was forced to evacuate in early January and, frankly, it has been a very difficult time dealing with insurance, adjusters, and lawyers, and also trying to find appropriate housing for me, my husband, and our four animals--now three, as we have finally concluded that one we will never see one of our cats again. We lost a great deal of property to recent events and have had to expand a lot of money to replace only those things that we need immediately to get day to day. You would be surprised what you don't miss until it's gone. It has been especially difficult because we have a young male border collie, a nine-year-old rescue, and two cats (now one). The border collie puppy (Rhyse's Pieces) was a handful before the unprecedented destruction of the wind/firestorm so you can imagine how things have gone since. I was able to get our puppy into Petco grooming soon after the evacuation to get all the ash, soot, and particulates out of his coat. However, because my temporary housing situation is not really appropriate for our needs and is not set up for dogs, our puppy got out a few times almost immediately after the wash at Petco and must have jumped into a few dumpsters before returning to me. For the reasons already mentioned, my husband also has had to live separately in order to be within reasonable distance of his work while I am living elsewhere with the dogs. As a result I've had to grapple with the dogs by myself, which has been even more difficult due to my rheumatoid arthritis and other conditions, the symptoms of which have become much more severe due to this stress of our situation. It is really not realistic for me to attempt to bathe the border collie in my current state. The last time my husband and I bathed him, it took us almost an hour just to wash him because of his long double coat, and it took almost two hours to dry him. We are not opposed to doing this ourselves, we just weren't in a position to do on short notice, and Rhyse was incredibly filthy--I mean, truly disgusting and so smelly. I reached out to Joseph at Royal Spa Mobile Pet grooming and explained to him the situation and asked him for an estimate. Not only was Joseph able to accommodate us on very short notice, he offered to give Rhyse a bath free of charge even though they normally charge at least $150 for a dog of Rhyse's size and coat. I did insist on giving him a hefty tip but my family really appreciates his generosity considering the stress and expenses we have been incurring. It is immensely encouraging to us and I am so thankful for businesses like this. Rhyse came out of Joseph's van looking and smelling like flowers. He is so soft, we can't stop snuggling him. Could not recommend this business more. read more

Amazing amazing amazing. What more is there to say. Royal Spa cares for my pet and cares how my maltipoo looks and cares about punctuality and cares about cleanliness. I have used the services of Royal Spa twice and both times were amazing. My baby boy got a different cut this time. I let my daughter who's 14 pick the type of cut he wanted Jules to have since Jules and her are very close and it was right on the money! The owner even put me in his calendar to call in 2 months to see if Jules hair has gotten to long. Great service! read more

Royal Spa Grooming is a blessing on wheels! Found them a few years back on Yelp and gave them a try. I'm glad I did, my pup (Saint Bernard) loves being pampered by Joseph and his team. I love how he always leaves her fur super fluffy and white, not sure how he does it but WOW. My favorite part is definitely the convenience of Royal Spa coming to us, I don't have to put my dirty pup in my car. Thank you Joseph and Team for being so great with Sally. If anyone is looking for mobile grooming Royal Spa is the team to call, I highly recommend them. read more

Best decision to call Royal Spa Mobile Pet Grooming! Handled with Care and patience with my big Labrador! He was a happier camper once Joseph was finished bathing him! Great company read more

Our first grooming session went very well today. Joseph was here on time. Took his time to get to know our dog and our expectations. I was able to check on them halfway through the haircut to make sure I like the length and style. Usually with other groomers we had to leave our dog for 3-4 hours and what we got back was a nicely cut stress ball. Mowgli was done in 1,5 hours today and he was still happy and excited after his session. I mean, look at that smile! I would definitely recommend this company. read more

We found Royal Spa Mobile Pet Grooming on Yelp. They are on time and very good with our pooches. My wife was very impressed and already booked them for a follow up appointment. Laila & Snow came out clean & cute. Price points were not far off from our local groomer as well and didn't have to leave the house! Please consider using them. read more

Joseph and his team are amazing! He periodically groomed my very old, very large, but very sweet Golden Retriever, Hank. It took double the time because Hank couldn't stand for too long and he had a big tumor on his stomach. But Joseph persevered, and got him shaved beautifully (Had to shave him during warm weather because he got so hot). I have another Golden, she is smaller, younger and perkier and he did a great job with her as well. I can call him for a quick nail trim only and he manages to make time. I HIGHLY recommend Royal Spa. Local company that is hard working and very, very good at what they do and reasonably priced. He gets a little busy, so sometimes there is a wait, so book early! We want Royal Spa to be busy! They deserve the business. THANK YOU Joseph for being so patient with my old (RIP) Hank!!!! See you soon. read more

Do you love your pets? Do you want your pets to be treated with care, patience, and compassion? Do you want quality work and service at your doorstep? If you answered YES to all of the above, then Joseph at Royal Spa is the guy for you! Our dog "Pirate" had not been groomed since he had surgery back in late May and we were very hesitant to have anyone touch him, let alone run a hair-clipper over his sensitive wounds. Well after 3 long months of watching our dog's fur get longer, and dirtier, and knotted, and tangled, etc... I decided to reach out to Joseph. I explained the situation and told him that we were tired of our "Pirate" looking like, well... a real pirate!! Haha... Scruffy, stinky, and dirty!! We felt that our dog was finally ready and had healed enough in the last 3 months to attempt a proper grooming. Let me tell you, Joseph outperformed our expectations. "Pirate" came out looking "so fresh and so clean, clean!!" It was good to see our dog so refreshed and happy, but most importantly, well cared for by Joseph. Thanks man, we'll be contacting you from now on! read more

Joseph and Bess are a dream team! We rescued a pit who was clearly not taken care of correctly. Had a lot of scarring due to fleas and even certain bald spots because of the amount of scratching she must of done. She was nervous at first but Joseph and Bess made her feel at ease. They clearly care for the animals and making them feel comfortable while in their presence. At the end of the service our pit was in love with them both and what she hesitated at first to get into their van she freely walked in and out multiple times of the van.l afterwards. Do not hesitate to contact the Royal Spa I promise you won't regret it. Yes they may be booked a month out in advance but I promise you the wait is well worth it. read more

My dogs can be a handful but like Caesar Malian, the owner of this company is an absolute dog whisperer. Royal Spa is kind, patient and honest. Royal Spa MPG continues to be our 1st (and only) choice for mobile grooming. I love the scheduling site so that I don't have to rush with booking a session, I love the calendar reminders that sync up with my phone, and I love that they still use good ole' customer service and personally check in prior to an appointment. Our dogs love them and wag their tails away before and after their spa time. We first booked Royal Spa last year and were very pleased with our dog's results and the customer service. However, these last couple times Joseph has been showing up late to our appointments and doesn't even have the courtesy to text letting me know he's running late. Joseph and his wife are amazing! I had a difficult time with our previous mobile groomer who was flaky. She constantly cancelled, and sometimes just didn't show up and didn't call to let us know. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled and rescheduled. Months went by and my schedule was so busy that I didn't make time to take my poodle to a grooming salon or look for another groomer and as a result, he got extremely matted. By the time I decided to look for another groomer, two salons/groomers turned me away because they didn't want to touch him with his matted hair, especiallyhis ears. I contacted Joseph and he told me his next availability but I just didn't want to wait much longer. Joseph said he would come to my house that same evening if I was okay with a late appointment. I was so grateful that he would come to meet my dog and see if he could help. After driving over 2 hours from another appointment, he still provided quality care and took his time. He could've easily decided to end his day earlier than he did to have his personal time with his family, but he chose to come and help us. He came out and greeted my dog and waited until he got comfortable with him before taking him into the "spa." Joseph said he would go ahead and try to help us but, if he couldn't, he would stop and let us know. Im appreciative of his transparency. Teddy's ears were the most difficult because they were heavily matted but he ended up being successful at the full shave down and removing the big matted areas on his ears. I received text updates the whole time. Joseph and his wife were understanding of our situation and seemed to genuinely want to help us. They were both very pleasant to work with. Joseph was very responsive to my texts even though I'm sure he is very busy during the day. He made us feel important, whereas, our other groomer, unfortunately, didn't. He put us on a schedule so that our dog won't end up going months without grooming. He was very professional and seems to run a very smooth business. Of course, he will be our new regular groomer for Teddy and we're more than happy to give him our business. Thank you again for your great service! We look forward to a continued relationship with you! read more
