Nothing worse than getting ready for bed, to find all the drains in the house are backing up. Time to call around... I first called one of the well-known plumbers you hear on the radio, and was surprised to learn there was a $99 +$265 emergency call out charge (a total of $364 before any repairs are even made!), and a 2-hour response tj. I came here to Yelp, and found Mike with Ace's Plumbing... most 5-Star reviews in the area. I called just before 9PM and Mike answered, said he'd be right over (though he was getting ready for bead as well when I called!). He was at my house within 15 minutes, diagnosed the issue within 5 minutes, and was soon running a snake down the main line! Was a total of 30 minutes and the job was done! So glad we searched Yelp and found Ace's! In the end, it cost us LESS THAN HALF of what the other guy wanted just to show up (not to mention a 2-hour response time). Thanks again Mike, you saved the day and saved us a ton of money!!!

At the time, I didn't realize what a blessing that would be. Mark is incredibly experienced, knowledgeable, and friendly. He knew exactly what needed to be done in both situations and fixed the issues promptly. His communication was excellent. I never once had to chase him for updates. He consistently delivered clear, accurate information and kept me informed throughout the process. Mark responds to texts and calls in a timely manner, which is hard to find these days, and he completed the work within the promised timeframe. So they worked on getting it "free" to no avail but sure did charge me almost double the price for nothing. The next job I was charged twice what they usually charge to open a main line. A call to one of the Big Boys might be better than Sharp. At least you know they are going to try to shaft you. Will never use Sharp Plumbing again! Update: The owner called me a couple of weeks ago and admitted they overcharged me and promised a partial refund. No refund has never showed up. I believe it was an attemp at an apeasment because he saw some of the negative reviews. They deserve them.

Initial call was for a clog, and so the main was snaked and a lot of water run. That same evening the issue returned and so the technician came out the next day (in a snow storm and at no charge). The pipe was snaked and a camera run. The tentative diagnosis was a collapsed pipe, and so I switched to my warranty service. In the end the diagnosis was inaccurate, and I only needed a Hydro-jetting... but warranty service plumber said it was an understandable mistake as there was some minor offsets that could have caught the camera, and the sludge would have prevented a good view.

Been in this house 9 months and the previous owner did everything DIY. The drain from the sink to the basement was not correct after due to an oversize sink being installed and properly aligned(previous owner).
