Such kind people. Truly magical humans. We started bringing our little Papillon here about two years ago, back when she was a puppy and fully committed to chaos. You know the phase--"oh my... what have we done?" She behaved as though collars, harnesses, or mild inconvenience might actually be the end of her. Somehow--and I mean somehow--the team at Royal Pup Parlor groomed her beautifully and transformed her behavior. I'm convinced a magic wand was involved. She came home calm, happy, and shockingly cooperative. Fast forward to now: she happily sits on my lap while I brush her, gets those dreamy sleepy eyes, and often falls asleep mid-groom. That kind of trust doesn't happen by accident. It happens when animals are handled with patience, gentleness, and real love. Grooming here is clearly an act of care, not just a service. We're so grateful to have gotten her on their schedule--and so are our other pets. We now bring our husky here for deshedding baths and our lab for nail trims. They did a great job with our short hair, mixed breed, female dog. Sparta is nervous around new people and doesn't like being groomed, but they handled her very well and she came out a happy camper. We asked for a bath, de-shedding, nail trim and anal glands extraction (yuk). When I took her in she peed a little because of anxiety and they weren't fazed in the least. They gently took her back and got her situated and once she saw that they were going to take good care of her she calmed down. It only took them about an hour which I really appreciated, I've taken her places before that were 2-3 hours, which adds to the dogs stress level I think. I like that you can see into the back where they are working to gauge how they are handling the animals. When I picked her up, she smelled great, had shorter nails and a cute bandana on. She didn't seem stressed at all, but of course happy to see me. Price was $40 for the services which seemed in line with other places and reasonable. They are being covid safe and all wearing masks. Parking is the only issue - it's definitely challenging, but I figured it out. read more

Just got my pugs nails trimmed here. Pugs are notoriously bad at getting their nails trimmed and mine are no exception. They have on occasion screamed while getting a nail trim. But not today! The groomer was sympathetic to their nervousness and trimmed quickly and without incident. The store is cleaner looking than a lot of groomer I have been to which tend to have rolling dog hair tumbleweeds. Great experience. Will go again. read more

They did an awesome job with our timid Pomeranian ! He is usually terrified of the groomers, so hearing that he was a good boy was a relief . The girls are super friendly there and they are always so reassuring about leaving our baby, even though i know he's in great hands . Parking is a little hard but i always park in the back! Also i love the convenience of texting for an appointment , which not to mention a fast response and the availability for next day appointment!! I'm sure that i got super lucky with getting in last minute, in no time I'm sure i won't be that lucky because the word will get out and they will be slammed ! Finally found an outstanding groomer! Have been to many in area with disappointing results. Thank you Royal Pup Parlor for being amazing! They do an excellent job grooming my yorkie. He has nail trimming anxiety and they are very compassionate with him. I really like the ability to text for appointments... that's an awesome feature of this place. Maddie is his go to stylist and she is a sweetheart. Very clean. Reasonably priced. Usually have him done in less than 3 hours during my Saturday appointments. I thought I would try it based on talking with another customer. Not my best move. My dog looks ok, not great, I'm used to much better, they are not less expensive than the others. Why won't I go back, because my dog has NEVER acted this way after a trip to the groomer. Normally she is happy and running around, not today just cuddled in my lap.
