He walked right in on his first visit & has been comfortable/happy at each appointment ever since and for most visits they have done an excellent job. With the hot weather recently, the last grooming they cut his curly fur much shorter than I expected & several people laughed when they saw him. But haven't found a better groomer so will keep taking him to Muddy Paws...after all, fur grows back.

I felt at ease with their responses and how they were so accommodating to make sure he had a great first visit. The salon is clean and the staff are so friendly! I knew my dog was in good hands. The price was affordable when compared to what we normally paid at PetSmart but included much more! His package included a trim, nail grinding and brushing his teeth. They're always running specials too. Plus it was quick service! It took an hour when compared to the past we usually had to wait over 3-4 hours to get him back. Our dog did wonderful and the staff were so great to him. Definitely taking my dog back here! Highly recommend this for your dog's grooming needs!

We've been taking our dog Max to this groomer for years and have always trusted them with his care…read more He's a 10-pound senior rescue with a sweet temperament, and until now, we've never had any issues -- he's even received positive feedback from the staff in the past. However, our most recent experience was incredibly upsetting. When I arrived to pick Max up, the groomer appeared frazzled and visibly angry. She told me that Max bit her four times and was too matted. This came as a total shock -- Max has never bitten anyone before. He has four teeth and has always been a gentle, if slightly nervous, little guy. Without any prior communication or check-in via text (which we've always received in the past), she charged us $125 -- well over the usual $90. I was in such shock of it all, I even gave her a $12 tip on top of that $35 overcharge, since she said Max was so terrible (those words). She also said she didn't think she'd be able to groom him anymore due to his age and the biting. When we got him home, he was skittish, wouldn't let me put his collar back on, and was ravenous and dehydrated after being there for four hours. To make matters worse, we had to reach out to her just to find out when we could pick him up. I think she rushed to finish him, was angry and harsh in her manner since she was rushing, and that resulted in him biting her. This whole experience has left us deeply unsettled. Max came from a shelter and is sensitive to how he's handled. Based on his behavior afterward -- and reading reviews from others with similar concerns -- I fear he may not have been treated kindly. In hindsight, we've overlooked too many red flags over the years: unanswered phones, lack of timely responses, long wait times for a small dog, and the always chaotic energy at pickup and drop-off. We're so disappointed. Please think twice before taking your pet here. Read the negative reviews carefully -- I wish we had.
