I even paid extra to have his teeth brushed because I expected a higher-quality service. When I picked him up, it honestly seemed like he hadn't been properly bathed at all. He still smelled very bad, almost as if he had only received a dry bath. What upset me the most was the haircut. They completely ruined the shape of his face, and the hair on his forehead looked like it had been cut with zigzag scissors. He was left looking choppy, uneven, and poorly groomed. A few hours later, we called to explain the situation, hoping they would be willing to make it right. Instead of apologizing or showing any concern, the manager was extremely unprofessional. He told us that since it was only our third visit, "that's what we paid for." He also said that if we wanted our dog to smell better, we would have had to pay an additional $30. The way they handled our complaint was even more disappointing than the grooming itself. We weren't looking for an argument--we simply expected them to listen to our concerns and offer a reasonable solution. It's very disappointing to pay for a service and receive such poor results, followed by such disrespectful customer service. Unfortunately, we will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this place.

Brittany, who groomed her, did a fantastic job - cleaned her up without robbing her of her cuteness. When I picked her up, she was happy, no longer had hair covering her eyes, and had been tidied up all over. She also smelled delicious. Everyone at this place was friendly, welcoming, and clearly loves pets. Super glad we found them - we'll 100% be bringing Moxxie back. I'm on the west coast, so I didn't think we could actually work together, but find her quite accessible since she does virtual sessions and is also active on her Patreon. I have a lot of experience with dog rescue, and I often adopt dogs with special needs. I have a dog that has obviously experienced some trauma around other dogs, and Erika has been incredibly helpful. She is generous with her knowledge and her time, she has lots of training tools like handouts and videos, and she is a delightful person in general. Great sense of humor, and it feels warm and fuzzy to work with her, which is so nice because often when we have problematic dogs, we don't feel good about it and we blame ourselves. Not only does she use positive reinforcement in her training for dogs, but also for people, because often it is us that needs to be trained. My dog is doing so much better since I started working with her. I highly recommend. I'm excited to work with her more in the future.

They work very well together, and their training styles really complement each other. Together, they bring knowledge, professionalism, and patience to each and every situation. The thing that really stood out to me is that even after/in between my training sessions, Erika continues to give me advice if I reach out to her. If I ask her a question, she will always email me back with her take on my situation, links to articles or techniques, or both! Her dedication to keeping up with the latest training techniques is apparent, and I truly trust her advice. She is honest and open when she explains things - she wants to help you and your dog, but doesn't just tell you what you want to hear, which is something I both admire and appreciate. Both Erika and John are truly dedicated to helping you and your dog. There is never a question or concern that I have that they can't answer, provide me with an example of solutions, or at least point me in the right direction. She and John have obviously done their homework and have so much experience, and that really shines through in their work. I, myself have never been a fan of aggressive training techniques and I love that Erika and John focus on positive reinforcement, and my rescue dog, Louie, loves it too. When I rescued my 3-year old Dachshund-Chihuahua mix, Erika and John were so helpful with his adjustment to his new home. They have given me excellent advice on how to help Lou eat his food (I was surprised dogs needed help with that, but Erika and John knew all about it), as well as identify stress signals and certain behaviors to look out for - things I didn't realize were so important until now. We started out with basic "sit" and "down", progressed to "stay" and "bed". They helped me train Louie to not pull on our walks, as he was never properly walked before we adopted him, so this was a challenge. They even helped me with tips for brushing his teeth!!
