I started training with Mo at RPT about three months ago. Before joining, I had almost no weight training experience, but now I actually look forward to coming here every day! As a model, my goal was to build lean muscle, lose body fat, and get stronger while maintaining the look that's important for my career. Mo understood that from day one and tailored every workout to it. In just three months, I've seen a huge transformation, and friends and family have even started commenting on how much leaner I look. Mo pushes you hard, but every workout has a purpose. He's incredibly knowledgeable, pays close attention to form, and genuinely cares about helping you reach your goals. If you're looking for a trainer who delivers real results and makes you enjoy the process, I couldn't recommend Mo and RPT more! read more

Not private, broken mirrors, broken machines, dirty. A lot of recording and insanely packed no room to warm up. No lockers available and dirty. Walked off mid workout that's how bad it was and left 4k worth sessions that's how bad it was. Seems Most people tend to leave this place who have some real private training. Many people u see on the instagram online train for free promo or are paid. Owner also lied about putting a sign up for me because the recording was so bad cameras in my face with flashing lights interrupting my session. Cares more about his social media. The workers are sweet and polite and so is manager Michael but complaint is about owner Shahin who is there everyday and gym overall. He does nothing. Leaving this review up here as well would have helped for me to have seen this before signed up. read more

Beautiful workout space with green turf inside, lots of mirrors, ultra modern look and feel - lots of shiny surfaces, glass, they are known for their personal training services here and all the trainers are in tip top shape. They often host events with other companies such as ice plunge, farmers market, outdoor sauna and group classes. They have theragun massage guns here, foam rollers, lots of booty bands for leg workouts, slam balls etc. It's usually pretty easy to find street parking since there are residential areas nearby. The vibe and age group are all pretty young too around 18-40 all very good looking people here read more

I paid $3,000 for a package of 30 training sessions at this gym. I was only able to complete about 7-8 sessions due to an unexpected move. Before leaving, I spoke with the owner in person, and he told me to email him explaining the situation so he could consider a refund. After I sent the email as requested, he later denied ever saying this and refused to offer any refund or partial credit. During one of my visits, the owner also yelled at me and my husband and my 4-month old daughter, which was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. He additionally yelled at me and asked if I 'spoke English,' which I found offensive and discriminatory. Not to mention he had 4 of his workers try to intimidate my husband by having them get uncomfortably close to him while having one tell me to leave because we had a baby in the building. This experience was disappointing and stressful. Between the lack of accountability, the way I was treated as a customer, and the refusal to work with me on unused prepaid sessions, I would not recommend this gym. read more

Effective training with friendly staff!!!!!! I've been training with Royal Personal Training and have had a very positive experience overall. The trainers are knowledgeable and provide clear guidance, helping me focus on the right exercises for my goals. The sessions are challenging but manageable, and the staff creates a supportive and motivating environment. Scheduling is easy, though peak times can be a bit crowded. Overall, Royal Personal Training delivers solid results and a great experience. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for personalized fitness coaching. read more

While this was generally a great neighborhood gym, their business practices are very scrupulous and shady.. I would be very careful engaging with them. They sell packages of sessions, then try to get you to buy more, and then claim they are no longer valid. California law prohibits the expiration of pre-paid services and that didn't seem to deter them. It's a solely owned entity and the owner simply gaslighted the situation by claiming "he has a board" that governs the decisions. Essentially they stole nearly $3000 worth of services and sessions. Despite several efforts to reach an agreement, they ghosted and took ZERO responsibility. If only their business practices were as strong as their muscles, this would be a great place. read more

I've only had a few sessions here and I can already tell this gym is going to be life changing. Everyone is so welcoming and the community they've built is something special. The owner, Shahin, and my trainer, Jackie, created a full 4x per week program for me with a personalized nutrition plan and step goals for training and rest days. It's exactly the structure and accountability I need. The gym itself is spotless, fully equipped, and has thoughtful extras like recovery beds where coaches stretch you out and use Theraguns. There's even a PT room on site. It's clear they've thought of everything. And what really stands out is the energy. Every coach in there is cheering you on, even if they're just walking by. It makes such a difference. Right now I need people who can take the guesswork out of fitness, push me, and keep me on track. That's exactly what I've found here. I can't wait to see the progress I'll make in the coming months. read more

Was here for an event and loved the experience here! The trainers are TOP NOTCH! Five stars for great energy and a motivating environment.

HONEST REVIEW: GYM: The gym is pristine and great. Which accounts for one of the two stars. TRAINER: The other star is for the trainer's "personality". it's telling that most of the reviews on this one trainer are about his personality and not about results. The trainer was a sweetheart but was very green and it was evident in my three months of continuous weekly training and saw ZERO progress. Unfortunately you don't get to pick your trainer, they match you based on your preferences of training style and with no trainer bios you really don't know or have a say coming in. The trainer I had relied on advice from others every session. Between that and the inattentiveness (on the phone or chatting to other trainers while I perform my reps) I can tell I could've had better results and better experience if training with someone else. Lastly, the trainer did not honor my request to do more compound workouts and hiit/ conditioning. Instead we mostly did isolated workouts (ie single leg kickbacks). It was only towards the end around package renewal time where the intensity was kicked up a notch. Verbatim I was told once I renew we'll increase the intensity and I'll see results. The first phase was "easing into it" due to some of his other clients' experience he didn't want to put too much on me as a female but I told him I've been working out for years (regardless of body type) and can handle it. To further put things into perspective, I've seen more results and body fat loss in just six weeks working out on my own than I did paying thousands of dollars for "professional training". Nothing changed with my diet or lifestyle and the only difference being my workout style/ trainer. It's unfortunate because I joined RPT for the professional expertise. CULTURE/ Good to know: The woman sales rep is very nice. The male sales rep who signed me up (and no longer with the company) not so much. The other trainers varied some friendly, a couple would close the door in my face as I'd enter behind them... The gym itself is very top notch and pristine and love that they have a physical therapy facility attached to it. Parking is metered or you can valet for a fee cash only. In the neighborhood you can find free parking as well. So much more can be said on the actual training experience but I will leave it at that. read more

I know I've always achieved the best results with a person trainer and my experience at RPT is no exception. Your health one of the best investments you can make for yourself and having a trainer keep you accountable removes the burden of wondering which exercises to do and if you're using proper technique, and alternatives to account for where you are in your fitness journey. The gym itself is clean, modern, and in a central location. I look forward to seeing all the trainers here as they each have their own style--which is very important to me since I prefer to train with someone who pushes me past my limits so I can achieve my fitness goals. In all, I love it here & very happy every time I get to come in :-) Just give it a try and do a free session and you'll see! read more

From the inital consultation with Shahin, my RPT experience has gone above and beyond expectations. He is extremely welcoming and genuinely wants to make it the best experience for you. The gym is clean and a great environment to be in, with plenty of machines and weights. My trainer Chris is very knowledgeable and attentative. We were able to create a program based on my needs. I'm a few weeks in, and I've been feeling great and seeing the results I've wanted. I've never done personal training before so I wasn't sure what to expect. Wish I started sooner! I've been recommending RPT to my friends and family. read more

RPT is the best in the game. Shahin train me every day for the past five weeks. I have never felt better, nor have I ever looked better. I have lived in Los Angeles for 18 years. Due to my work, I have had a personal trainer most of that time. Royal Personal Training is by far the most talented group of trainers I have encountered. The gym has an elevated feel to it, and the energy is incredible -- positive trainers and staff that are friendly and dialed into fitness for everyone. My trainer Spencer helped me make a major transformation, losing 30 pounds after covid lockdown. I look forward to working out. Royal Personal Training is the best of the best. read more

This review is mostly for BAY ‍ she is such a strong and inspirational force, I feel so lucky to call her my trainer. She blends together Pilates with yoga and functional strength training to create a truly unique and effective workout every time. And she doesn't forget to keep me doing cardio Bay keeps my body guessing and I'm always sore in different areas due to the variety of specialized movements. It is more than just physical strength though, Bay makes me feel supported and empowered. Her energy radiates. RPT is clearly such a strong and intentional community, everyone is so kind and encouraging. There also are great community events and the facility is so nice. Clean and beautiful equipment. Physical therapy options and even a little sauna! The bathrooms/showers are always very well kept. Serious shout out to the cleaning crew, they do such a great job. True luxury is not noticing any issues. Thank you to Bay for introducing me to RPT and always bringing out the best in me. read more

I heard about Royal Personal Training through friends who have been going for years and am so glad I signed up. They matched me up with a trainer who is a perfect match for what I'm looking for, Alexa. She is encouraging, but firm and makes the workouts fun. Alexa is super knowledgeable about training and fitness and I love that even though I thought I needed a male trainer, they set me up with her and I've been so grateful. I did a consultation with Matt and he understood me and my goals and had only support to offer, no judgment. Matt was confident I'd like who he matched me with and not only was he right, I'm positive he shared all the info I shared with him with Alexa because she has adapted at every opportunity to my goals, limitations, and strengths. I had high expectations from a trainer I had 10 years ago, and Alexa lives up to them in spades. She is always willing to adjust and pushes me as far as I can go. I go first thing in the morning (which if you know me you know sounds nothing like something I'd want to do) and I never feel like I don't want to go and actually look forward to my twice a week sessions. She checks in with me on off days and makes sure we're set for our next sessions. She even gave me advice for off day workouts and basic nutrition. They have state of the art equipment for cardio and strength, plenty of space, and it's never too crowded. I never feel like we are waiting for equipment to be available. Most of the time the music is incredible. Since it's a personal training only gym, everyone is with their own trainer and minding their own business but all of the trainers and staff are SO nice and supportive and friendly. I live super nearby so I've only used the locker room for storing my purse, but the facilities look really nice if you wanna shower/get ready before you go on with your day. I feel so much more fit and stronger after just 7 weeks. It's probably going to cost you more than most gym memberships but honestly you get what you pay for. read more

I signed up for RPT knowing that I wanted personalized help achieving my fitness goals and was convinced by the great reviews. I wasn't sure what to expect and was a little intimidated before I started, but my experience with my trainer Bay and the gym in general has been fantastic! RPT has clients from all ages and walks of life from women looking to maintain a healthy pregnancy, to pro athletes, and people recovering from injuries. I'm so glad I was matched with Bay, she has designed the perfect mix of workouts for me that involve weights, HIIT, and her own style of Pilates "Baylates." Her workouts are no joke, she keeps me extremely accountable and focused, but she's always kind in her communication and will adjust her approach depending on how my body is feeling. In addition to her expertise in weight training, yoga, and Pilates, she's also given me invaluable nutrition advice. Bay is truly the best! I've already seen noticeable results in 2 months excited to keep working with Bay! read more

Such a great environment if you want to push yourself and get uncomfortable. Everyone here is very welcoming and wants to see you improve. RPT has been the first gym I've ever truly enjoyed and stuck with. Ninni is the kindest, most incredible trainer and encourages me to keep going. Best place to workout in Beverly Hills. I started to train here in April, and in two months I could already see the results. My coach Bay is amazing. When I first trained with her I was surprised the depth of knowledge she has about health and wellness. Her unique training method focuses on combination of strength, pilates and yoga techniques that are perfect for both loosing weight and toning. I just love training with her, she is always positive and always pushes you to do your best both mentally and physically. She went above and beyond to help me fix my diet and control what I eat. Will forever be grateful to her! Positive energy all around. Highly recommend! read more

This review is long overdue. I have had arthritis in every joint of my body since I was 14 months old, so needless to say, I've had a lifetime of body issues that the typical person under 30 doesn't deal with. I had pretty much tried every type of workout class and at home workout "program", but struggled because I would constantly need modifications (and have no one to ask) or hurt myself attempting certain exercises. I always knew personal training would be best for my needs, but didn't think it was financially an option. One day I decided to research personal trainers near me, stumbled across RPT and scheduled a consultation just see what it was about. I met with Camille and Tori, and was blown away by how kind, compassionate and detail oriented they as we discussed my goals and unique health history. They said they had a few trainers, they thought would be a good fit, and I thought it was worth a try. They made a great first match! I've been training with Nikki for almost 8 months now and my doctors have noticed a great improvement in both my muscle, strength and mobility (which is a big deal for someone with arthritis). They also have an amazing physical therapy facility that is connected, Body Physical Therapy, where I've started to go weekly. I cannot say enough good things about RPT -- I am so thankful I found a place that approaches health & fitness holistically. read more

I have been coming to see Treshaun for the past few months. I have been stronger and having fun while I do it. I love it here!

I've been going to RPT for 6 months now and I'm in love! My personal trainer, Katrina is the best trainer I've ever worked with. She's knowledgeable, caring and an inspiration (she's a state champ in lifting!), and she has experience with physical therapy, which helped me greatly because of my shoulder injury. She creates an exercise plan based on my abilities and pushes me to get stronger every day. The exercises that she has me doing resulted in me losing 15 lbs in 6 months, getting me to my lowest body fat percentage and highest muscle mass in my life. I just purchased a whole year's worth of sessions to keep this going. The gym is equipped with high end machines, the staff and trainers are all friendly, and you really feel you're part of a community centered around health and wellness. I initially contacted this gym because of the stellar reviews, and they've exceeded my expectations every step of the way starting from the first phone call. Kudos to Katrina and the entire RPT team! read more

This review is for Nikki of RPT. If you are thinking of training, but have a fear/anxiety of being in a public gym, please consider training with Nikki. She is kind, patient, and very efficient when it comes to getting you in form. You actually look forward to training because the energy with her and the gym overall is so positive and upbeat. Nikki is very knowledgable and passionate about what she does. She definitely has changed my outlook on the gym and has motivated me to work hard on my physical health goals. If you want to have the best fitness journey of your life, contact RPT and ask for Nikki!! She will ensure that you meet and exceed your fitness goals! read more

I have been going to RPT since the beginning of the year. I do not have enough words to describe the professional, sincere and love that I receive from training here. Best personal training gym in LA If you want results this is the place. I had constant injuries and struggle to stay in shape until I joined here. I joined for one year about 4 years ago. I canceled and moved out of the area and despite having replied to numerous direct emails from their marketing manager, attempting to unsubscribe, etc I still receive spam from this shady operation to literally THIS day. The facilities were mediocre, the owners were stingy, plenty of complaints by women of creepy trainers. No idea if it has improved but I'm here today to let you know that apparently there is no possible option to be removed from their lame marketing emails. It reeks of desperation. More peasantry than royalty. read more

Started at RPT in January and it has honestly changed my life. I never thought I could have been so wrong about working out until I joined. Not only is it the best gym I have ever been a part of but also the people there make you feel so comfortable that it's impossible to describe. Shayan & Shahin are amongst the most respectful and humble guys I have meet my entire life and they have shown me nothing except respect and friendship since day one. My favorite two sisters Victoria & Camille are just AMAZING humans and very attentive to their clients. Shaun is my trainer and I am honestly blessed to have meet him but overall all the trainers at RPT are professional and the best at what they do. I wouldn't give up RPT for anything and I would give them 20+ stars on here if I could. read more

Cannot recommend this place enough. Amazing facilities and even better personal trainers who not only know their stuff but are also super supportive and truly care. I started training with Bay after a long break and was seeing results in two weeks already! She is super knowledgeable about anything fitness and nutrition and creates workouts that work specifically for your body, your goals, and state of mind.
