I can understand if it was right before closing time but this was not the case. I think it's fair to expect that if I show up during their posted hours that I can get service. I am not one to complain about the waiting, as that is expected in a place where walk-ins are welcome; however if you say you are open then there is no reason I should be turned away. I refuse to go to a place where I can't trust that I can even be seen until I get there. I can just as easily go to my nail salon to get what I needed, and from now on that is exactly what I will do. At least then I know I won't be going somewhere for nothing.

A staff member brought out warming neck pads, which was such a nice touch, and I also noticed a small refreshment area in the corner, which felt very thoughtful. My Vichy shower and scrub were amazing. I instantly felt comfortable with the provider, who did a fantastic job. The massage portion with the scrub was heavenly, the water was perfectly hot and I left feeling completely relaxed. My mom said her massage therapist was gentle, attentive, and made her feel very much at ease. The pressure was just right for her, and she left feeling absolutely spoiled. The front desk associate was also incredibly kind and even offered us both 10% off as first-time guests. Overall, the service was wonderful, pricing was standard for the area, and we'll definitely be back!

What I did not authorize European Wax Center to do was sign me up for a Wax Pass. When I caught onto the unauthorized charges,I called and spoke to the manager in hopes they could reverse the payments and cancel the subscription. She told me my options were to: 1)cancel the subscription for a $25 fee and utilize the $ they've already taken from me in only that salon location OR 2) keep the subscription to use in any salon location. Again, I am not living in Murfreesboro, TN, so option 1 was not even an option. I told her I had no intentions on keeping the subscription either, as I did not want it in the first place. $200 for 12 eye brow waxes is not worth it to me, as I only receive that service once every 3 months or so. She showed no remorse and had the attitude of "Oh well, that's all I can do for you." Thus, forcing me to continue paying for a subscription service I did not approve of. I feel as though the business conducted is deceitful and the manager was not willing to hold any of her employees accountable for their wrongdoings. I've contacted BBB in hopes I can get my money back. BEWARE of this place, as I've noticed a previous review where this has happened to someone else as well. If they make it right, I'll update this review. Until then, I'll never go to another EWC again.

My experience at this nail salon was not the best. I came in with a design in mind, as did my…read moremother, and neither came out as expected. My design was one color on six out of the ten nails, another on the other four, and a snowflake on the four. The nail tech did not tell me she could not do designs very well, and instead tried to figure out how to put a sticker onto my nail...something I have never been offered in my fifteen years of getting my nails done. Also, it is a snowflake...and I am not picky. It could have simply been three intersecting lines and I would have been happy. I do respect that she tried to complete my request, but she couldn't get the stickers to work, after more than 10 minutes of trying. She then requested another nail technician take over and try - and this tech had 10 years of experience in doing nails. The result was not as expected - my left pinky finger looks like it has a white blob on it because of the nail tech rushing. This was not a difficult design, and I said multiple times that I was fine with a more simple design if that would be easier. As stated before, if it was communicated that the design was too complex for the skill level of the technician, I would not be as upset with my experience, but as is, it was horrible. My mother's experience was similar - with a nail technician telling my mother that she could definitely do the design requested and then was not great at the execution - a unique French tip. If you simply want color on your nails, this place was great - they spoke English very well and were mostly friendly, but if you want anything more complicated, you're in for a disappointment.
