I never leave reviews but this was needed. Me,my mom and my sister walked in planning on getting our toes done together and I planned to get my nails done. They immediately took my sister which had my mom waiting about 30 mins when she wanted to leave the same time as her. All of this is irrelevant to my experience. I asked for short French. I ended up waiting 30-45 mins while 2 nail techs were sitting on their phones. A male ended up waving me over and didn't even ask for what I wanted. I showed him a picture and he brushed me off like he knew what he was doing. HE cut the nail tip before confirming the length with me, while chatting with his other friend. He continued to file and buff (obviously rushing) and I noticed he cut me about 5 times. I didn't realize how bad it was bc I do have a high pain tolerance but when he told me to go wash my hands almost all my cuticles were BLEEDING. I should've spoke up for myself but here I am. He didn't ask me if I was alright nor did he put alcohol on any of the tools he was using or my nails to disinfect. You can see how rushed the job looks in the pictures it's been about 3 days and MY CUTICLES ARE SORE ASF.
Got my nails done on December 30. The photo was taken on Feb 10 and I wish I had taken another the day I decided to get them done again (Feb 13). This manicure not only lasted, but looked great!
Do not waste your money here! Took my daughter to go get a pedicure. Didn't realize they charge $30 more for gel! That's crazy. I know it's Hawai'i, but if ima pay that much I want my nails to last. We went on Tuesday- it is now Thursday and the gel nail polish has come off 5 of my toes! To pay $130 for just pedicures is unreal. Save your money and go somewhere else.
I got my nails done just yesterday and they were very friendly and the guy who did my nails was very quick but I would definitely suggest other spots. My cuticles were tripped way too much and I have several cuts on multiple fingers, I also have gel going past my cuticle due to too much gel which I had to trim myself at home, and the sides definitely needed more filing for I'm not fan of how wide my nails looked
First of all I was glad they were able to take me and my daughter in at last minute on a Saturday morning. We just wanted a manicure very basic manicure. As we got in I asked if I could sit with my daughter to do nails together. It was sad that the nail tech weren't able to accommodate for me sitting next to my daughter. There may be a reason why but was not given a reason . Five minutes a lady sat next to her to do nails. Too bad I could not experience the first nail manicure with my daughter together. My nail tech kept asking to do gel nail instead and I said No. Then I said we are fine with GEL and lady said it's better last longer and I said I know we are okay with regular nail polish. I asked if she can do four layers and she said no. I asked if she could do two laters top coat she said just one. I was already thinking this place is a sham when the lady who did my nails insisted to do gel and and when I said HARD PASS, then she started telling that I haven't done for a while looks like I have never gone to a salon and that my nail polish will only last 3 days. I so love it when they talk about you in their language and then they all laugh! Never will go there again. The woman who did my nails is not professional and I felt so uncomfortable after she kept on pushing and then telling me I don't get my nails done then talking crap and the rest of the workers laughed. It will be my first and last time going there. Believe it or not my daughter and my nail polish lasted more than a week. We loved it! I just don't like the environment. I don't think they used cleaned instruments when doing nails on new clients. By the way I gave 1 Star just because of the service and how I felt after leaving the shop. But overall our nails came out okay and not a bad job.
The picture of my finger nails is from last year and that's the color I wanted again but the technician I had this time said she couldn't find that shade. Ohh well. I am still satisfied. I only get my nails done once a year so I am not picky. I went at 10am on a Monday as a walk in and was helped in the first 10 minutes of walking in. I liked the leg massage with the leg mask. Very relaxing.
Oh no this used to be my go to place. But my last visit was very very unfortunate and I didn't notice till I got home. I really don't like to write negative reviews but this is really bad. Look at the paint job on my tires so streaked and unprofessional. Dude I paint nails better than this, yikes. Sadly can't return to this place.
I got a $60 spa pedicure and acrylic nails for $35 and for some reason my total was $200?? I don't understand where the rest came from. I also asked for almond nails and they look so bad, Im so upset. They're really wide and thick. I won't be back

Amy is who I got when I walked in to do a Mani Pedi and I got exactly what I wanted. She helped me choose the color and shape I wanted and even asked me if everything was good before she proceeded with things. The time she took to do everything was great. read more

I come here occasionally to get my nails done with my cousin. Today, I got a full set of acrylic nails with gel polish. If I ever need my nails done, I always go to Helen. She can sometimes be rough with the nail drill so be careful with that or let her know if you're sensitive to it, cause oof that can be painful. But, so far my experiences with Helen have been good and my nails always last a long time. Sometimes I go 2 months without getting a fill (I can't afford a fill every 2 wks lol) and they rarely break. read more

I had a horrible experienced last Saturday with AMY after 5 hours wait I went there 11am but they were busy I came back 4pm after they said come back I don't usually leave a bad review but this is unacceptable they burn me by using wax it's pretty damage my face on my right side eyebrowat first it was so painful and sore my skin was peel offI never even hear a single sorry from her after what she have done.and it's sounds like it's my fault how can be my fault???FYI,you guys should be the one who ask me that question if I have an allergy or if I used something for my face before as if I know!!!!now you ask me when it's too late!!!!???i want it to leave it alone at first but I don't want any other costumer would experience this way and it will happen again I want them to learn to be more extra careful and be more cautious not just being rush and think all about money!this would be a scars forever!and I'll make a report for what happen. read more

Walked in around lunch for a mani/pedi and was greeted right away by one of the workers doing a pedicure. Per their request, I signed in and chose my colors. I was immediately asked to sit in one of the wonderful massage chairs they had already started the water for and greeted by Nina who was very pleasant (and spoke English pretty well too). Water was pretty hot at first but they forewarned me and asked me to check first and quickly adjusted the temperature. I got the spa pedicure (because I absolutely love the massages with the scrub and lotion) for $5 more and it was well worth it. She took about 35 minutes and didn't try to upsell me on any designs or fancy nonsense. As most salons do she helped me take my things to the manicure station and did my manicure quickly too. Again, she didn't try and sell me any fancy designs or jewels which a lot of other places do. Overall I think this place was pretty great and I'm glad it's right down the street from my house! Thanks Nina! read more

Horrible! I just went to get a lip and chin wax. First, she didn't clean the area on my face, wax was too hot to where she was actually blowing off the wax on the stick, and she kept reapplying to the same spot! Painful, swollen, and feels like a burn! read more

The salon is new, clean, and a delivers a perfect ambiance for relaxation not to mention the temperature is cool with high ceilings air flow and noise level is comfortable. Young lady, Amy, took her time to clean my mess up. She was friendly and took her time. I felt pampered and relaxed throughout my time there. She went back and made minimal corrections before painting my toe nails. There was no wait, I think because it was a Monday morning and it's still a fairly new place. Compared to its sister location in Kapolei, it's more relaxed. I have a great experience. Two thumbs up. read more

Eh. Did my nails at this shop for the first time today. The woman who did my nails rushed it. It was slow at the shop with a lot of other nail techs just sitting around, so I didn't understand why she rushed to do my nails. She also kept pressuring me to get gel nails after I repeatedly told her nicely "no thank you." I personally don't like Gels so when I say no more than 3 times ..please stop asking me. For a rushed job, no gel, and a simple nail design it cost me almost $50. Yikes.... the prices here are really ridiculous. read more

3 stars for effort but did not meet expectations... Went in for a fill which was done okay but then I asked for a difficult "independence day" design that I found on Pinterest. I asked him if he could do it before he started and said "yea yea". I should have stopped right there. But I didn't and I let him do the nails. So not only did he not know what an American Flag was, he also couldn't draw a star, which I thought was basic nail art. So we gave up on the stars and did USA... Eh... Not so good. Then I think out of his frustration he did the top coat before it dried only to smear half the nails. As I complained another guy wanted to fix it, and I'm like no way am I going to sit for another 45 minutes while you redo those nails. They charged full price. I know better than to go to a salon that doesn't have airbrush. So it was my fault, but not worth full price. Will not be back. read more

Tammy did an awesome job with my nails. I got a Mani and pedi from her; french tips with flowers for my thumbs. Total was $68.06. This included a $10 Royal stone feet massage, which actually was not worth the $10. It was rather cold stones. I rated three stars just because the other employees are not professional. They all are constantly speaking in their native tongue, which I think is unprofessional. Also, I noticed that they don't practice good hand hygiene. They should be washing their hands before and after each customer. read more

It sucks that so many people report a bad experience with this nail salon but honestly, this place is fairly reliable and I have always had good service here. I can't say it's an out of this world salon bc it's not... But I CAN say that I regularly come here and leave satisfied. Pros: - There's a ton of parking if you go on a weekday or if you are willing to walk a little - Prices are fair if you care at all about owners paying nail workers fair wages... Some nail places charge next to nothing and it makes me wonder if they're paying their workers well at all. So it's a little bit more expensive, but reasonable. - Quality is more or less consistent and satisfactory if you go for the BASIC services or designs (I'm a low maintenance natural nail manicure, gel mani AT MOST type of girl... Rhinestones is like DOIN' IT UP) Cons: - I have witnessed them diluting some glittery nail colors with other cheaper glittery nail polish... That's said I'm sure MANY salons do this to save money. Probably just not in the open. - Some manicure stations could be a little cleaner (but I've never had dirty tools used on me) - If you go for more elaborate nail work, I recommend making an appointment with an experienced nail tech because if you don't, they might try to rush your services in the interest of turning over more customers. Or just go somewhere else. But they do a decent job with designs Overall I give this place 4 stars. Not 5, but definitely better than just okay. read more

I AM NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!! I came to this nail salon yesterday to get a pedicure. I chose a light, sheer polish to go for a more natural look. When I get pedicures at other salons with a polish like this, they apply two coats and it comes out looking fab. However, my nail tech Tony, only applied one coat and you can see that it came out uneven... But that's not the worst of it! Tony asked if I wanted to do the callous removal so I said yes. He started using a cheese grater looking thing (I've seen this at other salons) and that was fine, but what wasn't fine was that he was scrubbing my foot with it WHILE watching the TV and ended up scrapping some skin off the side of my foot - MAKING ME BLEED! He didn't apologize, he didn't acknowledge what he did. He just used his gloved hand to wipe the blood away and set my foot back in the water. I'm praying that his tools were clean so that I don't get an infection!! I'm also wondering if he sterilized the cheese grater after injuring me or if he used it again on the next person... Did he give me a discount for making me bleed? No, he didn't. The pics I posted were taken while I was sitting at the nail dryer in the salon - immediately after my pedi. read more

First off let me say that this isn't my first time here and initially I had the best service the first time I came here... 6 months later after coming back to visit family in Hawaii from being in college in the mainland, I'm greatly disappointed of the service I got today... I had this guy that did my nails (ken) and I was already set on getting a full set with just normal nail polish because according to the price menu it states it's only $25 for a full set of acrylic.. I give it to them that it does say it's extra charge for long nails but my nails isn't even long and I was quoted $40 for a full set as soon as I sat down, before he started putting tips on... So the menu is very misleading and second the job I got was very poorly done and he kept burning me with the drill!! The color is great but I honestly could of done a better job myself because I do nails but I'm away from my home in Las Vegas I walked out of there paying $52 because there is a charge for "long nails" and the guy kept nagging me to get gel, so at that point I was like "fuck it, do it, leave me alone" they try to run you for your money. Obviously this isn't my first rodeo and I know it last longer but with this job we will see if I even last a week without these lifting SMH ridiculous.. Never coming back here ever again!!! Honestly the price isn't bad and I would gladly spend this much for a professional, but that price isn't worth the money I payed at all!! read more

I went to get a pedicure and since I had to go to Safeway, I tried Royal Nails. I thought I was getting the $25 pedicure, but then they show you a laminated page showing you the $5 and $10 upgrades. I chose the $10 upgrade since I was interested in seeing what a hot stone massage on a foot was. Usually I get my nails faded, but since it was $10 additional, I decided to get a design for $5. My technician was Tammy. Her English was not bad. It was easy to tell her what I wanted. I agree with the other reviewers that the pedicure was fast. I think mine was 30 minutes. I wouldn't have noticed since the job she did was good. Sometimes I think other places take too long. I usually go to gets pedicures with my coworker but this time I went alone. I would come back. The place was nice and clean. During my 30-45 minutes there at least 7 people came in for eyebrow waxes. I don't get waxes, but either this was their first time or this place may be good for eye brow waxes. They don't let you tip when you charge your bill. If you want to tip, they ask to charge it as a separate transaction. I just tipped cash instead. read more

I come here every three weeks since I first got my nails done here a couple months ago. It's convenient for me being I live like a 10 minute drive away. I call a couple hours before I wanna go in to book with Tyler. He's extremely detailed and always gets my nails shortened for work yet still shaping them to not look stubby. We're both very talkative so we have a great time talking and he remembers what we've talked about the previous times. When I go in with an appt I only have to wait for a few minutes for him to be finish with the one before me but even when I went in the first time I didn't wait long. Their prices are ok, I've definitely paid a lot more at other places for similar services. read more

I go here all the time and I've been very pleased. The guys and owner/manager have done a great job on my nails and feet. They are all pretty quiet and the charges for multiple services (mani, pedi, gel polish, waxing, etc) can add up quickly. read more

I've tried a few different places that are cheaper then this place, but are not on the same standard as them. At this point, I rather pay more for good service. Only problem with them is that they are not consistent on their services. One day "Jane doe" can be great, you come back to get again later, and she's not that good or slacking on the service. A couple of them have been on their cell phones as doing services and have messed up or skipped q process. read more

They are friendly, try and understand what your saying. That about it. Of course they use those those oh you want to try this, wait for your reply, oh okay ONLY 5.00 extra. But your choice to say no of course afterwards which I do, but I walk in there and know what I want. Now what I'm really upset about is the gel vs. acrylic. I asked for gel: steps for gel are: use a GEL like substance.NO mixing of a powder or liquid. Put finger into uv light then take out do the next nail with the gel like substance, then in light etc... So essentially I should have put each hand in and out of the uv light 5 times. Then when they are cured they dry CLEAR. What was done, powder and liquid mix. They dry instantly with a cloudy white matte finish. After done filing them down she had put a gel POLISH over it and put my hand in once. I proceeded to ask if I had gotten acrylic instead? She said no you have gotten gel nail with regular polish. Basically they are upping the price for something that's cheaply made anyways. And honestly I googled the the containers they had... It's face stuff? I have the picture to show what was used ( obviously not all of them) the powder is in the facial containers. read more
