Please be careful with how they charge you here, they will add on services and won't let you know *** I did a last minute decision to get my nails done and royal nails was the closest one and they were able to get me in quick. I like the lady that did my nails and feet, but I went there asking for a basic pedi and mani, I didn't ask for gel. At the end she charged me $94 for something I didn't ask for. The lady put the gel polish on, I didn't tell her to do it, I just wanted basic polish one coat would've been fine, I went back on their website to see how much the mani is and it was $20 and pedi was $30. I didn't wanna argue with the lady since she was nice but I probably won't be coming here again, they overcharge you for something that you didn't even ask for. read more

Nails were mid. Nothing crazy good. The guy that did my nails was nice though.., I asked for acrylic powder but they did just acrylics with paint instead. Didn't have a problem with the color, the design was a bit uneven and my nails are pretty thick on one hand and not as evenly filed/sanded down on the top as the other. read more

I've been here a few times and I always tell myself I'm never coming back. Today I got a gel mani, gel toes (no pedi) and my eye brows waxed. My polish are all solid colors but 3 different colors. No designs or extra efforts needed to complete my requests. My total was $85. Yes. EIGHTY FIVE DOLLARS! When I questioned my total at the register the tech said for the gel polish on my toes was $35 and it's $5 extra if you use 3 colors. So it was $40 to paint my toe nails! Ridiculous. Completely ripped off. And I'm sure management wouldn't say anything to correct issue either. SMH. Crooks! read more

Never had a pedicure but while waiting for my friend sure why not. I mentioned i never had one and asked the lady to guide me thru the process. -My feet arent in bad shape but she made squinting faces and weird faces as if my feet were the dirtiest she ever seen. -then cut the nails rounded which i know is a big no no because thats how ingrown nails happen. Supposed to cut the nails flat. Well sure enough 1 week later i have an ingrown toe nail. I am not flexible and its going to be hard, bloody and painful to get that out -as i mentioned this was my first time, whenever she asked me a question and i said i dont know she would make a comment to her co workers and they would all laugh. Obvious sign of saying bad things about me in another language -she used a cheese grater which was really cool because a lot of dead skin came off. But she skipped my heels which is where i felt that was needed the most despite trying to cheer her up because she seems to hate her job i tipped her well and atleast she thanked me sincerely. It was still a waste of time and money, and a bad experience from start to finish. I would give the idea of pedicure again, but not in this store read more

A nail tech named Amy did my plastic white tip acrylic set. No manicure, or anything additional was requested. Their listed price is 40 dollars for an acrylic full set. She told me if I wanted "skinny square" I'll have to go to the doctor to get my nail bed cut. I told her I used to get my nails filed this way all the time but if she didn't understand, then it was okay. Then she laughed, and dropped her nail file on the towel my hands were sitting on and told me I can file my own nails. I told her I'm not going to do my own nails at a nail salon, and that it was fine. She almost applied a gel clear coat without my consent. I said I'm not consenting to, or paying for gel. She said my set was $70. I told her that's incorrect and that I want a regular clear coat. She said it's still going to be 60 because the white plastic tips cost more than the clear plastic tips, and there's an additional charge for "shaping" or in other words using a nail file on my nails- which, not only is part of any full set, but I literally paid and walked out without a clear coat at all because I still need to shape / file them on my own........ Leaving feeling scammed, abused, and publicly embarrassed by this angry little woman. I will never return and just thought I should do the public a favor by issuing a warning. read more

My appointment was at 11am and I was running late so I called and Ms. Nina answered and she was nice about me still in coming late. When I got there Ms. Nina greeted me and got started right away on my nails and I showed her a design that I wanted and when she told me that she could do it but I was worried when she couldn't find the maple leaves and I thought "well at least we could get as close to the design in color" but then then she kept on looking and she asked her coworkers about it as well and eventually they found it. I was very happy about it and she paid very close to details and worked very quickly. The place was clean and very quiet and they also had good music playing. Overall I would come back again to get my nails done. read more

Went here to get a acrylic soak off and basic mani and was not happy about the customer service and my experience I had. The guy that I had was rude. He started filing some of the acrylic off then tried to lift it up with a scraping tool which was hurting me, When he was using the electric file he burnt and cut me. That was the most uncomfortable situation I've ever been in NEVER WILL STEP FOOT IN THAT PLACE AGAIN. Would give it 0 stars but cant read more

Great please for mani pedi! Must give it a try! I had some very off special requests and they were completely accommodating! Also the hot stone plus wax for an extra 10 is totally worth it! Location: The salon is conveniently located in Laulani Shopping Center next to Pearl's Korean BBQ. There are an abundance of parking at this shopping center. Services: The salon offers nails and waxing service. I normally come in for an eyebrow wax and a pedicure. Eyebrow wax is a hit or miss. Sometimes it turns out well and other days I wish they didn't touch it at all. Pedicures can be luxurious especially when you upgrade it to the hot stone massage. Pedicures can take 30-40 minutes. The massage chairs are nice but it turns off a few times during your pedicure. Price: Eyebrow wax is $12. A pedicure is $30+. Add $5 for removing calluses. Add $10 for hot stone massage. You will also need them to ring your card more than once if you didn't bring cash tip since the receipt doesn't print out a tip section. Staffing: I like that every available seat had a working technician. I hate seeing a salon with 3 staff yet they have 5 pedicure seats and 2 people waiting. Every technician was being seen at 3pm on a Friday. Customer Service: I appreciate when my technician makes small talk with me. I don't like when the technicians are constantly talking to their coworkers in Vietnamese. You are in a business to please your clientele. Stay professional. If you happen to be arguing with your coworker, please do it away from us. I visit a nail salon to get pampered. *The above incident occurred on 08/07/15.* Overall, the prices are higher end for a pedicure yet they have a lot of staff to accommodate almost every walk in. They are conveniently located and it's the biggest reason why I continue to visit this salon. read more

I've been here 5 times over 3 years. I keep forgetting that I always leave unhappy lol. This time I got charged an extra $5 for callus remover during a pedicure. I don't have excessive calluses. I agreed to the extra $10 deluxe pedicure. She asked me if i wanted callus remover but didn't tell me it was an extra five dollars and it's not on the posted price list. The Time prior was about 10 months ago when she cracked my toenail and then moisture got under it and of course fungus grew. A lot of Tea Tree Oil cleared it up. read more

I rated them low not because of the quality of the work, that may be a 3! What they don't tell you is the price list is just a base price. Anything they do "extra" adds to the cost. During my basic pedicure, the tech asked if I wanted a small callous filed. I've never been asked before,it was just always part of the pedicure. Pedicure was so so,just basic,no massage, nothing like that. They charged extra for the callous.ok, maybe they could tell I'm from the mainland. I went in again, for a fill.I have short nails, just wanted them filed down a bit,and 1 coat of color,1 coat clear topcoat. When I went tobpay, the tech says 52.36! Wait I said to him, how much for the fill? He said 40.00 for the fill, the rest for trimming my already short nails!!! Never again! Watch out for those additional charges. read more

I will admit, the reviews made me a little nervous coming here but I still wanted to give it a shot since it's so close. My experience was incredibly pleasant and relaxing. I did a walk-in and when I entered the door, I was greeted, acknowledged and taken care of immediately! Everyone was friendly and my nail tech, Amy, did an awesome job! She was transparent about the prices and add-ons throughout the whole appointment and was sure that I was getting what I wanted. I absolutely love the way my nails turned out! Worst full set of gel nails. 5 days later they were cracking at the sides and snapped off like fragile potato chips. Went in for a repair when the first nail cracked off. Nail tech couldn't match up the neon pink color. All nail techs left the salon to go outside and do a video selfie for Vietnamese New Year, leaving several customers sitting at tables or in pedicure chairs super confused. I wasn't charged for the repair. It was completely different from the original set: different color, thicker amount of gel and filed uneven. 3 days later the other nails started cracking on the sides and broke off. read more

Too expensive! And their prices increase each time. I bring my own gel polish due to covid and I still get charged Xtra 25.00 for gel pedi, for using my polish for my pedi. 31.00 for pedi, then quoted 54 at register, jNina just said," Xtra 25.00 for gel! " and walked away. I started coming here 2 years ago and it was 90.00 out the door for gel nails and pedi. Now it's 145. Nails only last a week. I do not recommend. I won't be going back. Been here 3 times within 30 days. Got a pink and white done which was really good hence the 1 star. Went back to do a fill and the service sucked. She was nice until she kept cutting my skin with her tool and when she removed my old set she pried them off with some metal tool to where my real nail was being ripped off! I thought they would at least soak them but not her. It's true what some say on here, when they notice they are getting busy they rush you so they can get to next client. I was in the area doing errands. My feet needed a massage and my hands needed everything. I figured, since I didn't want any type of nail polish, just cleaned, scrubbed, oiled, and massaged hands and feet, it didn't matter where I went. When I walked in, I was greeted by this older woman. Her presence was very warm, I felt confident walking into her chair. She kindly asked if the water was good, showed me how to use the massage chair, gave me an info card that showed the different types of pedi's. I forgot the name, but I went with the most expensive one. This included soaking, cleaning, leg mask, scrub, paraffin, massage. She finally gets to the massage part, 2 minutes later, I was extremely disappointed to find out that 1 leg was complete. Again, 2 minutes later, my other leg was complete. At this point, I'm very upset. A pedicure should include at the very least 10 minutes of massage. I'm not the type to start some ish, especially towards a company that majority of the worker's first language isn't English. So, I didn't say anything. I go to the chair for my mani. I think my mani lasted only 10 minutes. It would've been shorter had I not told her to go back and nip more dead skin from certain areas of my fingers. In my post, you will see a picture of my feet showing 2 areas of obvious callus that was missed. Yeah, I know, gross lol but I need to make my point. You can tell she used a pumice, but not enough. As for the other picture with my finger, that was one of the fingers that I had to tell her to go back to. & look, it still needs attention. I paid $65 for this mani and pedi. I wish I didn't have to pay anything for that. I was I got a refund. I wouldn't pay $20 for that. Royal nails, please change this. Not cool! I wasn't expecting a miracle for my dry hands and feet, but damn, this looks like I didn't get anything done to them. read more

I normally go to a place in Kapolei but I decided to try this place because it was convenient. I called ahead and she said come right in. It was surprisingly full but I only waited a few minutes. The water was Luke warm...the towels were luke warm, and the "hot" stone was warm at best. She was in a rush and as soon as she painted my toenails she put on my slippers and messed up 2 nails...then proceeded to try to just paint over the dings in the polish. I will not be returning to this salon. I got my nails done for Halloween. The man doing my nails was rushing, made my cuticles bleed, and wouldn't fix the errors that were made even when I pointed them out. I went back today for a removal and I got a different guy with the same result. He did not remove the acrylics all the way and just painted on top of them. THE WORST NAIL SALON EVER! Honestly I gave this place the benefit of the doubt(despite the bad reviews) and had my girlfriend and I come here to get our nails done only to be disappointed. Their stock of polish needed to be replaced. The polish on my nails came out really thick. Prior to sitting down, I showed them pictures of how we wanted our nails. They completely disregarded those pictures. The shaping of my nails were so crooked, I had to ask the guy to fix it multiple times. The guy also insisted that the shiny color polish was the matte I wanted(before I washed my hands). So I proceeded to explain to him I have had matte nails before and I can guarantee they do not come out shiny like he said they should. My friend's manicure consisted of a teal color with double silver strips at the tips. The lady doing her nails said they don't have the strips, but she could just use a siver colored nail polish. After she was done doing my friend's manicure, she told my friend it's an extra $6 for the crooked ass stripes she made. Upon paying, I put the tip (which they did not deserve) into the little tip jar they had. The guy looks at the $ and tells me to go hand it to the lady. Like brah, you and her did a crappy ass job and then charge us extra for lousy ass work and expect me to hand you $, gtfo. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! read more
