This place was absolutely horrible they made my nails way to thick and within 2 days of getting solar nails one of them broke so when they fixed it for me the colour was completely off they didn't let it cure properly so all the nail polish was soft still but insisted it was fine. Then after about 5 days the nail polish on my thumb just started ripping off while i was washing dishes while wearing gloves and when i called just to ask for removal not even to get them fixed or anything they said i still had to pay even tho it was completely their fault don't waste ur time or money at this place and their rip off solar nails read more

Save your money and just go somewhere else. I went in for a acrylic full set & I specifically asked for the cost before hand. The lady, Amy who did my nails was very sweet but the owner of the salon was very cheap and did not care to provide good customer service at all. She kept adding hidden charges as my appointment went on. I thought with the new management this place might go somewhere but with this type of behavior no one will come to you!! So I paid. 30 for clear tip 5 for length 10 for regular nail polish??? = $42 with gst. The lady beside me got the SAME thing done and paid the same amt but she got shellac nail polish. I apparently was not aware that regular polish is $10.. she made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcomed. Maybe before charging ur guests extra you should focus on building a clientele with good service?? I will not recommend this salon or ever go back there myself. NEVER AGAIN. I did like coming here. The people are nice, it's close to home and I always felt welcomed. After today I'm not sure if I will be back. I am looking to change salons again. I came in this morning after my appointment was cancelled Wednesday just 20 minutes before my appointment time. There was an emergency in the salon which is understandable but i was told the emergency happened almost 2 hours before I got the cancellation call. So you think they'd make sure my experience was good but instead I got the lady whom I dont like doing my nails, yet again. I try thinking maybe this time she'll do better. I was wrong. She's sloppy, she misses steps and every single time she does my nails it never fails they never last the 2 weeks that they should! Ive had them chip the next day or the polish is so uneven looking! When the other ladies there do my nails they still look good after 2 weeks besides the growth part. My manicure today consisted of a bit of lotion and oil I had to rub in myself. Normally you get a nice arm/hand massage with the warm towel, but nope. I should have only gotten charged for a polish change cause that's what it felt like. That to me was not a manicure at all! I still paid full price but I am really considering not coming back here. That's very disappointing because I was really happy with the new ownership and it's so conveniently close to home. But I'm really not happy with my service. My sisters nails however were fabulous!! read more

I have been going to Royal Nails since they opened years ago and find they do great pedis and manis for reasonable prices. I have been to other places where prices are ridiculously high for the same services. The staff are welcoming, courteous, friendly, and efficient. They are well trained and I have never been dissatisfied with their work. That says something because I expect high quality work. I am always treated with respect at Royal Nails and recommend them to anyone wanting quality work at reasonable prices. read more

DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS NAIL SALON!!!! I have been to this three times and the first time I went I was impressed, Tammy did a great job but after I have realized that Tammy only cares about how many customers she has instead of actually focusing on the nails and customer service. The second time I went to Royal Nails in Temple, I had an appointment but Tammy still made me wait an hour to get my set done. When it had finally come to my turn, I had come to see that she had taken walk-ins before my appointment. I paid $75 for a yellow set before tip, which she had rushed, went home and the shape was HORRIBLE. I have been getting my nails done for years and I had never gotten something this bad even though I had been overcharged for a simple set. Not even 24 hours after getting them done the shellac chipped. I went in and got it fixed and it chipped again. Went in for the third time to get it fixed because the shellac kept on chipping and this time I was tired and asked for a refund or to just change the color completely. Tammy's husband started yelling at me and refusing because it is not Tammy's issue that HER SHELLAC is chipping and he after went on to blame me. Tammy was apologetic so I had booked a third appointment this time telling Tammy many, many times that I had no time to wait because I have a flight to catch and she assured me that I will be right in and done before one so I booked the appointment for my mom and me, after asking her many, many times that if she's busy I will go somewhere else. I walked in today telling her once more that my mom and I are in a rush and do not have the time to wait and she says "yes, just wait a little bit. I am almost done." 45 MINUTES LATER AND SHE STILL IS NOT DONE. I ask her if shes almost done and she says that she needs five more minutes. I, of course, leave telling her that this is ridiculous and that my mom and I will come back at 12:10 and she agrees. Not even two minutes after my mom and I leave, I call to once more to double check the 12:10 and she says "I took two new people." and after hangs up on me. What she did was completely disrespectful. This place is absolutely horrible please do not even waste your money or gas to come to this horrible place because if you do you will get overcharged, the worst customer service EVER, they will not do what you want (they do what they want), sloppy and rushed work. read more

The girls working here are very fast, zooming between mani and pedi customers....maybe too fast. I had gel nails applied because I was told they are more durable than acrylic and after one week they are popping off like press on nails. Also, because the technician did not push my cuticles back, they look way overgrown. I was told to come back in two weeks to have my nails filled, but I can't wait another week, they just look too bad already. Hopefully they fix their mistakes, $57 bucks is a lot for nails to only last a week. read more

I have been here previously and went back for a reason. Today I was swapped from the woman I made an appt with and it was all down hill from there. Incredibly rushed, poor set of nails and a pedi that wouldn't dry and also smeared from the toy separator, and employees impersonating the owner... Would definantly never place foot in the "nail" place again. Such poor customer service. The girl who did my nails(acrylic) seemed to not want to be there at all I asked her questions about where the colored tips where and she continued to file my nail. When she finished she then pointed to a corner in the spa and said "there" . I got up had to figure where she was talking about and saw them piled on top of one another in te glass case under the cash register. My set maybe took her maximum 25 minutes to complete. I left with wet polish which smudged when I got to my car, uneven thickness of the nail, I had asked for square shape and they where all unevenly shaped. She didn't file the acrylic powder around my cuticles so they looked quite overlayed onto my cuticles, as well as nail polish around my cuticles. When I returned the lady didn't handle the situation very well and told me to come back in a week for them to take off. Asked for a refund and she said no. I even asked her to file them thinner and she did one and told me to come back in one week. Overall was a horrible experience and I don't think I'd reccomend this nail place. read more
