I spoke with Cassandra in customer service and she handled the communication with the store who researched and agreed with my issue. I spoke with Ray at the Lewes store and was given an immediate credit for the error. I also received a call from the district manager apologizing for the issue and received additional compensation for my trouble. It's easy to complain about the small issues but sometimes you really get to see how good a company is by how they rectify mistakes. I also shopped in the store early on in the continuing COVID-19 pandemic and the employees were friendly and helpful even when the customers were difficult. Weis has a good selection of products, including some specialty items not always found in regular grocery stores.
