Just a few hours from NJ, this spot is a dream for beer lovers and dog parents. Leashed and friendly pups are welcome both inside the tasting room and outside at the beer garden seating. Dogfish is more than a brewery, it is a full brewpub serving their iconic beers, canned cocktails, craft vodka, and a full food menu. Inside, you will find tons of tables, bar seating, cool artwork, and a gift shop. Outside is where the magic happens: beer garden vibes, massive tanks, and a wild tree‑house sculpture that makes the whole place feel like an adult playground. After we took the self guided tour about the history of wine and the vineyard, we ended up at the gift shop which also serves as the ticket office for tastings. The tastings are priced at just $10 p/p for your choice of 6 samples from Nassau Valley's product line of 14 wines. There are crackers to clear your palate, a piece of chocolate to accompany one (the True Blueberry?), and a souvenir glass to take home. We sampled a 2019 Pinot Grigio (Dry), 2019 Cape Rose (Dry), 2018 Meadow's Edge White (Semi-Dry), 2019 True Blueberry (Sweet Red), 2019 Delaware White (Sweet White), and a 2020 Redneck Rouge (Sweet & Spicy Red). I enjoyed every one of the six. We picked up a bottle of  the Meadow's Edge ($14) for my son and daughter-in-law, and a bottle of the Redneck Rouge ($15) for us. All in all, we had a very enjoyable visit at Nassau Valley.

The brewery doesn't have a kitchen, but they overcome this by rotating local food trucks through every day. The store is a bit smaller than the others in the area, but it's organized well and they still have a pretty good selection. You probably won't find anything super unique or wild here, but they have all the basics (and then some interesting things to try on a whim). Their prices also aren't crazy for a beach area, especially if you join their discount program. The location is a blessing and a curse since it's right on a main street and near all those restaurants, so it's easy to get to but a pain to get out of (or the opposite, depending on the day). I tend to ride my bike there or just walk for that reason. I bounce between the three main liquor stores in this area, but Bethany Beverage is probably the one I go to most often.

Some may want less pepper seasoning. I see they have some low cab bowls that I will have to come back to try.
