If your buying a home, sellers will typically provide you with one, insist that it NOT Old Republic. I know this because they were included in the purchase of our home. This is the first time I had to call for their services, and she considered our situation as "TOP PRIORITY ". ( no water to entire house to prevent continuous leak at valve under sink). She emailed me info for tech services coming out, I called for an eta, they don't work Sunday's!! I call back for another company and I remind the operator to confirm availability and she says, " I can't confirm, but our contact clearly states we will have services to you within 24 hrs of you call". Are you kidding me!??!! TOP PRIORITY. By the way, you still pay $75 for service call ( they pay the rest). Don't go without a home warranty, just NOT OLD REPUBLIC. They didn't deserve the 1 star but I couldn't post otherwise !!

We are supposed to close escrow tomorrow and I have been leaving her messages all week and have yet to have her return a single phone call. Today she was supposed to call the sellers to arrange a time for them to sign the closing paperwork. It's 4 PM and she has not called them. I would send her emails letting her know that the sellers would be out of town and she would not reply or followup. She needed to contact the trustee and get an affidavit from her. I sent her the trustee's email address on Monday. I called Cirina this morning and asked her if she got everything she needed, to which she replied that she needed the trustee's phone number. It's Thursday, so she sat on this for three days and wouldn't have asked me unless I followed up with her. We're supposed to close tomorrow. I asked her if she got the wiring information from the exchange company- she told me the exchange company hadn't contacted her with that info. I contacted the exchange company and they had given her that info at the beginning of escrow. Worst escrow experience I have had in my career. There's still a chance for escrow to close tomorrow, but my seller will need to bend over backwards to accommodate Cirina's schedule.

I agreed to pay a $30 fee to have my check expedited overnight via UPS and was told I would receive a tracking number by email. I never received the email. When I called the next day, I was given a tracking number, but there is no confirmation of the transaction, and since my account is now closed, I can no longer log in to verify anything. I did receive the check--but it was not sent via UPS as promised. It was sent by regular USPS mail (postage of $0.74), yet I was still charged the $30 UPS overnight fee. I called to report this and was told someone would look into it and call me back within about two hours. I never received a return call. Now I will have to call again and spend more time trying to resolve this. This experience has been extremely frustrating and unprofessional. After more than 25 years as a customer, this is not how I expected to be treated. I would not use this institution again.

    I opened a new savings account with Chris, and right after I went home from the bank, I checked…read moreonline that I was actually eligible to get the CASH Bonus (which I believe $200) and I did not get or was informed at the time when I opened this new savings account. The next day I called and spoke to Chris, and he was fully aware about the bonus (but hey.. still did not inform me at the time), and asked me if I could provide him with the offer code. I gave him the offer code, when he tried to enter, it could not be applied because the account was already opened. He then told me that the code should be applied right when the account was open (Yes, and you should be nice enough to tell me about it!!!). So I lost the CASH bonus I was eligible for. Chris told me that he should not be the person who inform be about the cash bonus because that promotion comes from marketing department. I don't buy his excuse, and I don't understand why someone can not be nice enough to tell the customers any promotion that they are entitled too??? And why he even told me about the Chase credit card points rewards for that month if everything should come from the marketing department? Another thing is: When I opened the account, I clearly told Chris to set up automatic payment for my Safe Deposit Box, but I still got a letter from Chase saying I haven't paid for the safe deposit box!!! What are you doing, Chris??? DID YOU EVER LISTENED TO THE CUSTOMER??? I am a very long time customers (more than 10 years) for Chase Credit Cards. The behavior of the staff make me think I should switch to another bank.

    I tried to make a deposit today & greeted with a teller;however, the teller went to a room & left…read moreme to wait. I had no idea if she was on break or something else. I just had to wait there for around five minutes without knowing what was going on. Usually teller would take care the customer first when they greet you. At any rate, this is not the worst as there was a female manager asked me what the problem was. I explained to her what happened about the lousy customer service but she told me the teller was sick & it was Christmas time. She did even asked the teller why she just vanished after greeting me. I don't understand why the female manager is still able to working there without termination. I also saw some other bad review complaining about the manager. Citi bank is a reputable company but I personally hope that the upper management can get rip the bad apples as they would continue to tarnish Citi reputation in the long run. Now I fully understand why the branch have the bad reviews all along! I will do business with other bank who can understand the importance of customer service!

They also didn't know how to much I needed in my account in order to maintain a free safe deposit box. Nor did they know how to cash out checks. She kept giving me one teller after another and Fatima didn't even care because she herself didn't know how to do the job or answer the questions I had. Totally incompetent.
