The staff then were all high school coaches who were great trainers with the players there for private lessons. I can say without a doubt that the staff and changes they have made since then do not represent the sport or community. The staff last year knew its members by first name and showed a genuine interest in coaching these players. it is all kids now who work there and they have raised their prices for everything. Monthly membership fees are higher now as well lessons. T thing is last year they were not known and had much less business and members. Now that word has gotten around and the community knows about them, they raised everything. Today we received a email stating that beginning in August on top of us paying our monthly membership fees, they are going to be charging a $17.50 half hour rental fee for cages. If you use the cages two times a month at that price, that almost your monthly dues. This location has gone from caring about the sport and wanting to help players excel to big corporate making money. Went from a general manager who was very skilled and knowledgeable in the sport at a high level to hiring someone who is all business oriented. No doubt they are going to lose loyal members because of their greedy policies. Whst use to be a great place to bring your players to work on their skills has become nothing more than a Chucky Cheese trying to give the very least for the highest price. Update: Once word got around about them charging its members a fee to use the cages, all of a sudden the following day we received emails stating they are no longer going to charge the members they already have and it only counts with new members. Cheers to everyone who called into them that day and let them know it's not cool or a smart idea to do that to us. Especially the ones who have been members since it first opened. Today I looked to see about scheduling a lesson for my son and was blown away by how much those prices have gone up. Use to cost $35ish for a 40 minute lesson, not it's $50 and $90 for a hour lesson. Unlike the original coaches who ran that place and worked there, there is not a specific coach first baseman to train with. Of course they have someone for pitching and catching lessons but everyone else is a utility player and has I'm sure a good baseball IQ about all the positions but having a left handed actual first base coach was huge,

There are trails and paths into the neighborhoods around the park if you want to walk farther and explore. The park is popular - there are always people and families around - and it feels safe and friendly, even at night. Sometimes cars drive through the park a little fast, but most are careful and drive slowly. The ball fields have been undergoing some extensive renovations in 2023 and the whole park is being improved overall. There are bathrooms available. They aren't great but are definitely better than nothing.

His heart and passion is not just for the youth to have an old-fashioned way to have fun outside of screens and isolation but also for the adults to spend time with their family! What better way, but to run around with some paintball guns! It was very fun in all of the fields, which they have absolute tons of them, I went with my teenager before he returned back to school across the country and we had a blast. The staff there are really knowledgeable and fun to have as referees. We were there for over 4 1/2 hours and we plan on going back. I even meant a league of people who would love to go there other fields too so definitely a good place to meet others. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FIELD!

I was there for my daughter's soccer games, but the baseball teams had the larger lit up fields at the park, as well as an announcer that you could hear around the entire park. Ahhh, memories. Fritchie Park also has a small enclosed playground that is so shady if you need to entertain your younger kids. It's got all the equipment they'll want and some nice benches for you to chill out on. Very often I will want to use a machine and someone is sitting on it using their cell phone. This may go on for ten or fifteen minutes. There should be a policy that cell phones are not to be used while occupying a machine. Signs stating this policy should be posted and enforced by employees on duty. There are many chairs and benches these folks can use to review their messages and communicate with friends and family.

At the end of the trampoline there's a huge pit filled with hundreds of foam blocks. Oh my goodness, so much fun!! Yes, I've been on it several times. :) Try and go bouncing down that trampoline and jumping into those foam blocks without a huge smile on your face, I dare you. I can't be done. It's impossible not to be happy doing that. They also give wonderful birthday parties for children. For $150 you get the entire gym to yourself, all paper products and utensils, and two party workers to entertain and supervise your child and their guests. You provide the food and drinks as well as the cake. Not too bad. You don't have to lift a finger at the party if you don't want to. The party workers handle everything. The other wonderful thing about Gymnastics Plus? Kids Night Out. Every Friday night from 6-10 PM you can drop your kids off for cheaper than what it costs to get a sitter. They play and watch movies, make crafts and are even served a pizza dinner. They are completely worn out when you pick them up and beg to go back as soon as they leave. Guess where my kiddos are going to be every Friday night? ;)

I first took my son here in June or July for the swimming lessons. They said that the person that was supposed to do the classes had an injury so they had different teachers. It was a week long session for 40 minutes in the morning. My son is 2 and a bit and these lessons were advertised as specifically being for his age group. When I got there for the first lesson I met the teachers. They were 3 young girls maybe between 17 and 21 (I'm guessing). It didn't matter though as I assumed that they would have been through some special training on how to teach this age group. They were lovely girls but it was a waste of time. They didn't know how to deal with the children and I just taught my son myself at home. They are probably good for older children but not the younger ones. Following this I decided to enroll my son in a me and my shadow gymnastics class. He's very agile and always jumping around like a monkey so I thought it would be great for him. The teacher Tori was really nice, great with the kids and good at gymnastics. My son really wasn't getting anything out of it though. He didn't enjoy it at all. Then one evening I went there and Tori had sprained her ankle so they said another girl would take the class. She wasn't great with the children, didn't have a plan, was bored and constantly looking at her watch. The class ended early and was pointless. I decided that this wasn't working. I gave it a fair shot of 3 months. I emailed about 2 weeks before the month was starting to let them know that we wouldn't be continuing and was told that I would have to pay for the following month anyway. I don't remember reading this but oh well! Today they called me because when they they went to run my card it said it was invalid. She started talking to me like I was a child and telling me about a $25 fee. I told her that we wouldn't be bringing him back anyway and this seemed to confuse her. I feel like they are greedy and probably good for older children but they arent really great for the younger ones.
