Everyone in my group had a blast at LA Xtreme Paintball! This is one of the cheapest locations in the vicinity of New Orleans. With 6+ players in your group, you can play at $35 per person all day. And, that's including gear rentals (gun, 500 paintballs, face shield)! We played for about 5 hours and bought an extra 1000 paintballs to split amongst 7 people. I believe they have 3 fields to play in, but when we went, only 2 of them were open. However, it was enough as the 2 fields allowed for groups to play simultaneously to cut down on the wait-time for an open field. One of the fields was smaller and it had inflatable obstacles to hide behind. The other field was much larger with multi-storied forts, random bulky obstacles, and metal shipping containers to creep around behind! That field had a fun apocalyptic vibe. Make sure you wear thicker baggy clothing, as getting hit with paintballs can hurt a little. We all went home with a few bruises and welts, but that comes with the territory! Although the paintballs do not stain, after it rains, it can get really muddy there, so definitely don't wear your Sunday best! The staff there were all very friendly and helpful. Some of them were veterans who can give you tips on how to succeed. I personally did terribly, but I had a great time! It was truly a spectacular day spent here! I would have given 5-stars on this review, but I have to subtract a star, unfortunately. None of the employees were wearing masks to be careful with the pandemic. That made me a little bit nervous, but I will definitely be coming back after COVID is over! I highly recommend this spot! read more

We were there a year ago and we heard all the work they were going to do, when we showed up fo to my son's bday party this year, nothing has been done. The standing water and mud year after year is annoying, and we will be trying out the competition from here on our. I spent near 1000 dollars on 12 kids, it won't happen next to around. Clean up the drainage on your urban course, it's long overdue due. read more

The field was good but we went in the raining day so the ground was muddy as F*** The staff was nice and friendly -2 stars because of the mask they gave you, it was foggy after 5 mins and you can't see anything and that's how I got too many shot, Fuck.... See nothing but fog read more

The best! Courses had a lot of variety and were laid out perfect with lots of cover. We rented the equipment and there was no issues with the guns at all. Barry was our ref and set up our games. LA extreme and their staff went above and beyond to make our visit enjoyable. Highly recommend. Can be difficult to find so call and get directions versus relying on GPS. read more

The staff at LA Extreme Paintball is great. The lady who checked us in was easy going about the fact we were late (90min late), and the refs were cool and easygoing while keeping us safe. It rained all day so the ground was muddy as hell. The field with the barrel obstacles was difficult to run across, but it made for some excellent viewing by the peanut gallery. The path to the wooded course was completely submerged, and we really did feel like we were fighting in the rice patties of Viet Nam. It was crazy. Still, it was SO much fun, and I would recommend it to anyone. read more

Best paintball place I have ever been to. Took my buddy out here for a bachelor party and our group had a blast. They had an awesome variety of fields and they let us try each one. Wait times in between games were very limited despite a busy day and multiple late parties. Haven't been here in about a year, but figure I'd throw a review up anyway. Would go here once or twice a year with a big group of work friends just for fun. Always had a pretty good time. Prices seemed good (spent maybe $30 each on equipment/paint for 4 hrs of playing). The equipment was all decent stuff, never had any issues with jamming or uncomfortable gear. They have two speedball fields, one with inflatable barriers, and the other with a bunch of metal ductcing/barriers. I've only played on the metal course, but it was well laid out for good even matches. They also have one or two woodsball fields, which I thought were very well laid out. Have to be careful of the specific days you're going, as it seems prone to flooding, and could make for some miserable times if you're trodding through water to your knees all morning (depending on whether that's your kind of thing or not). All in all, we had a good time with a group of about 15-20, and we've always gotten along well with the other players and refs that have been there. read more

Worst paintball experience I've ever had. Super slow to start games with favoritism towards players who come regularly. We were forced to play with other groups repeatedly and were never able to play with just our group. The regulars who played in one game with our group broke the rules and played dangerously with no repercussions from the referees or owner, another example of favoritism. Take your business to another paintball place and save yourself a disappointing experience that will cost you a fortune. NOT WORTH IT read more
