I have already written a review of this business on Google but I feel the need to write another one. The owner of this business is seriously mentally unhinged. He has repeatedly been calling me and leaving me voicemails threatening me and I have told the police and I will continue to tell them. He keeps saying in his voicemails that I need to stop harassing him while he is the one who is calling me. The only reason I dealt with him in the first place was because I had a skirt that I needed fixed and he didn't do a very good job. I complained but I needed a coat fixed for my boyfriend and he refused to fix it because of my prior complaint. There's nowhere else in the area that fixes clothing and I don't have a car so that is why I went back the 2nd time. I hope that he doesn't get any customers because someone as disturbed as him shouldn't! read more

I use these dry cleaners regularly for the last year - great service, never any problems. Perhaps under newer ownership these last few years? The poor reviews don't add up to my husband and mine experiences this past year. Always super kind and professional. read more

Simply the best! Shirts always done to perfection, suits repaired and looking like new, and wife's chaplain's alb always looks perfect when she gets it back. And Scott is one of the best-very accommodating, will bend over backward to help. read more

We have been using Scott at his Beach Bluff store for years. The service is great. Bottoms mended, shirts and pants pressed perfectly. Now that he also owns Royal we are using this location which is equally well run with superior service. They also do a great job on rugs. read more

I have been using this dry cleaning establishment for years. Management changed about 2 years ago and the service has gotten so much better. I rarely did dry cleaning, but because of this place I now do it frequently, the owner is very compassionate & welcoming, they, did my daughters, Prom dress alterations, and it came out PERFECT, and then I sent in my own clothes which came out excellent, so I would really recommend this place, its awesome!!!!! read more

If I could leave less than 1 star I would....and I didn't even get the chance to have my clothes cleaned....I have a regular dry cleaner who was on vacation for 2 weeks and I need to drop of some clothes for work....I pulled up to the drive up window and handed my clothes over....one skirt fell to the ground and I quickly retrieved it to hand to the woman .....She immediately grabbed a large metal hanger and dangled the skirt in my face screaming at me that I should have shaken out my clothing because there were some pet hairs.....I really thought I was hearing things...as honestly typically when I dry clean clothes they aren't even dirty - just need refreshing....I'm just particular and yes I have cats and yes there were some pet hairs but the way this woman treated me - behaving as if my clothes were covered in some deadly toxic waste and yelling at me....was absolutely outrageous.....I gave her a piece of my mind...told her to give me back my clothes and advised her that her behavior was disgusting and unacceptable and they did not deserve my business.....so pet owners...beware...Do not go here if you have any pet hairs on your clothes or be prepared to be berated by the some crazy woman dangling a metal hanger in your face...and yes this did feel like a Seinfeld episode ...but it was reality. read more

I noticed a sign in their window about cleaning UGGS boots. I dropped off my wifes GREEN UGGS. When they came back the color was totally different and the inside fur was as stiff as a board. They hurt her feet. The store owner told me that they sent them out and have never had any problems with that vendor. The first time they came back their was only one boot... they could not find the other one !! When we tryed to work with him he was not there to even answer the phone. They told me to take it up with THEIR vendor. They wanted NOTHING TO DO WITH IT. THE VENDOR COMES ONCE A WEEK... I met with him.... he told me that they NEVER get ANY complaints and refused to do anything for us. Very disrespectful and all of a sudden he could not speak english. I'd respectfully disagree with the below rating, but to each their own. They somehow tore a hole in one of my dress shirts and then claimed they did it to remove a stain. I was not reimbursed. That and some other mishaps with cotton versus mixed fabrics have encouraged me to no longer be a patron there. read more

Very expensive when compared to any other cleaners. They charge more than two dollars each for shirts no matter the quantity. I had some jeans hemmed there, and when I complained that the hem didn't look like it should (double-stiched and looking like factory-hemmed jeans) 1-their English suddenly got worse, and 2-they old me if I wanted it done like that (correctly) it would cost twice as much. We have been taking our clothes here for years, and have brought our bedspread there at least 2 prior times. This time they shrunk it by at 6". It no longer reaches the floor. I asked for a refund of the $34 we paid to get it cleaned and the only thing the owner offered to do is have me bring it back so he can stretch it! It's ruined. It was a $179.00 bedspread. I brought a picture of it on my phone and he as much said that I was making it up. He's lost another loyal customer over $34.00. read more

They are meticulous! Sweaters are not just dry cleaned but brushed by hand. They do their very best to pay attention to stains and get them out. Also they have never lost anything. Every item is carefully entered into the computer. A family owned cleaner with an incredible work ethic. The woman assistant is very pleasant. read more

I have been going to Royal Cleaners for almost 4 years with no problems, until today. I have a wedding to attend tomorrow morning and I need to leave quite early because the wedding is in RI. I decided on Monday to wear a different dress and went to Royal Cleaners to see if they could get it done by today. It needed to be cleaned, pressed and a stitch needed repair. I specifically asked if it could be done in time. I was assured it was not a problem, as long as I gave them until 5pm. I went in at 5:30 and my dress was not finished. They cleaned it and repaired the stitch, but it was not pressed. It was in a pile waiting to be done. My ticket specified it should be done by 5pm, yet it wasn't finished. I am not happy. I would not have left it if it couldn't be done. I took the dress as is and refused to pay the full price. The woman said, "Well, something like this normally takes 1 week." That's dandy, but I ASKED WHEN I DROPPED IT OFF. If they had said it couldn't be done, I would have done something else. I will not be giving them my business any longer. Be honest with your customers from the get-go and don't expect me to jump through hoops when you messed up! read more

Granted this cleaners does a good job on the clothes but their business practices leaves a lot to be desired. A recent experience: a laundered shirt came back with a stain and the owner refused to admit they left the stain. He said we were not to use his store again. read more

i wil never recommend anyone from going to this store. i used to bring lots of my white office dress shirts to be washed and ironed. one of their workers told me that there was a stain on each of my 3 shirts. it looked like a polo horse stain on my left pocket.i told the lady that i brought the shirts in to be washed and ironed. i never brought the shirtsin with the stain like that. the owner was in the store. he yelled..at me saying it was not his fault. he kept yelling at me saying that the shirts are hard to clean.....and that he was not going to charge me. i was yelled at and treated badly. each of those shirts are 20 dollar shirts . those shirts became worthless it has been 5 years.......i never went back and never ever will. good luck to anyone who takes his clothes there. take your chances. read more
