During the week you could eat for 10 bucks per person drinks included. Every other buffet I go to charge is just under $20 and drinks are separate at three bucks apiece This place is clean. Staying on top of this many people shopping their way through multiple food stations is not an easy feet. At one point when my husband and I got up to get a second plate, by the time we returned, our table had been busted wiped, and there was no evidence anyone was ever sitting there. They took everything, including our drinks and condiments, but it's not even annoying. You can't get angry when somebody is on top of Cleaning that quickly. They have all the traditional Chinese dishes, plus some Thai dishes as well. Of course, there are plenty of American classics. For the price, you can't beat Royal Buffet. Pepsi products featured include Diet Pepsi, Pepsi Zero, Mountain Dew, and four to six more. Also Sweet and Unsweetened Tea and maybe coffee all self serve. Stuff scallops best dish, Buffalo chicken wings great, and all other food good to above average. Stir fry was exceptional. Desserts standard but all choices from other Chinese buffets were ALL here plus some I have not seen anywhere else. Variety is better of both hot food and desserts. Self service ice cream in 5 gallon containers the strawberry tasting slightly off. We drove 94 miles from Michigan to go to Rural King in Tifflan. Originally we planned to go to the Asian grill across the street from Rural King. The price there for lunch $1.50 higher AND they charge an additional $2.50 for a beverage. So for the two of us we would have had to pay $8.00 plus tax more. We are actually planning to return this weekend for the dinner as this blows away anything we have found in Chinese Buffets in the greater metropolitan Detroit area even better than Rice'N'Shine in Monroe Michigan. read more

Ate at this restaurant while we were staying in town. Love the way the restaurant was decorated. There was a good variety of food, including dessert with some more American options mixed in (like mac and cheese and BBQ ribs). My only complaint is a couple of the things were a bit overcooked. This is a good choice for dinner or lunch. The buffet has plenty of options and they keep up on the food display. The downside to this restaurant is the price. It is not what it is on the website. Lunches on the website says $10,99 when it's $15.99 and their dinner prices they claim on their website to be 13,99 when it's $20 . Soda drinks are 2,50. But rather than that, it is a nice choice. Overall for a buffet it's average to above average. They have a very wide range of foods and also have enough American cuisines to satisfy even the super picky eaters. Only been here two/three times but I've always had a positive experience. Service is decent as well. The ambiance is great! It's a huge restaurant. Tons and tons of seating. It's big. It has a of lot stations and quite a variety. I went during the Eclipse weekend and some things left me disappointed. For one, they were more expensive than usual at lunch time. They said they had crab legs and all I saw were a few pencil sized legs in the bottom of a steam pan and some of the food wasn't hot as though the steam table wasn't working properly. So, that made me a bit concerned about how it was handled. You'd think the manager would checking on such matters considering how critical they are to customer safety. I would give 0 stars if I could... The lady who owns the restaurant is very rude and has an attitude. As long-term customers (10+ years), you would think we would be greeted with a smile, but every time we come, the service gets worse. We only come here because it is quick and the only buffet in town. They "request a tip of at least $1 to cook hibachi". How can you REQUEST a TIP?? Tips are provided for good service. You don't get to tell someone how much of a tip to pay when it is YOUR JOB to cook the food! And then to give me attitude because I am trying to get food cooked?! I don't have a problem paying a tip, but the amount should be on my own terms. If the service is poor, why should I pay that amount? Also, my daughter is tall. She is only 10, but 5'4". When I tell you that my kid is 10, you shouldn't question me. I shouldn't have to provide a birth certificate to get my kid a meal. I feel stupid for returning to this restaurant. I absolutely LOVE Royal Buffet. They serve everything you could ever wanna eat all in one place and it includes food that's considered American as well as the Chinese. They've got egg roles, they've got sweet n sour chicken, the general TSO's, cheesy broccoli, they've got a wonderful selection of fine deserts. One of the best aspects is that it's all served with Pepsi products making it one of my most preferred restaurants in Findlay since I love Mt dew. I really don't see these downsides the other yelpers seem to notice. I have gone there one time 30 minutes prior to them closing n the food was a little old n dried out but that was completely My choice to go there at that time. N I still enjoyed it since I just love the options they have. Definitely a restaurant I recommend. Their price was great for such a wide variety of food! Only $9.99 per person. They charge you for drinks but I only got water because I've banned myself from any carbonated/sugary drinks. The waitress staff was very friendly and refilled my water multiple times during my visit. However they did not understand me very well. On Christmas they served turkey. They also had the general Americanized Chinese food you find everywhere in the Midwest. They also had American food to accommodate the little kids who aren't familiar with Chinese food and are afraid to try new things. I have been here multiple times over the years since Hong Kong buffet closed and the service here has certainly declined with each visit. There used to be this really nice lady that worked here and I'd always tip. Now it seems like some of the waitresses are just being rude. They want to follow you as you leave to pay and literally try to demand tips from you. Personally, I feel I shouldn't be obligated to tip if their demeanor while serving you is kinda sullen. Tips are earned, not just handed out. I went to the restroom and when I was leaving she practically stared me down waiting to pounce for tips upon my exit. I felt ganged up on while paying. The waitress just stood there stubbornly and said thank you and I responded yep! She continued to say thank you.. thank you.. thank you...awkward. I don't think the cashier was too much friendlier either, delaying giving me my change back while the waitress tried intimidating me. Neither one of them really cares about their customers, and I can clearly tell, they are talking crap about me in my face in their language, all for not tipping. This was not the first time this happened either. It also happened when my brother and I went for lunch. How rude and embarrassing! Overall the food is decent once you find what food is more frequently stocked. I won't be going back until they hire a more competent staff. It's not as good as it was when I was younger. Can't really expect too much from a buffet though. Some of the food was soggy from sitting for who knows how long. As me and my sister were up getting food I could see the workers staring at us. Even the fortune cookies weren't that good. The cost wasn't the greatest either especially if you're not a big eater.
